- My version of a 1/24 Nissan Skyline 2000 GT-R Street Custom by TAMIYA
I upgraded a few bits on the kit, the engine was swapped with a RB26 motor which I got from a R32 Nismo Custom kit, I also used the seats and wheels from the R32 kit. The brakes were also upgraded by using a R34 Ztune as the donor kit.
Body paint - Zeropaints ZP-1296 Anthracite
This is a full build video of the model

This is crazy! I about lost my mind when I saw you polishing the paint and also when you did the '"carpet." Keep up the great work.
This is now my favorite channel.
Oh wow man, thanks appreciate the feedback! Glad you like the content!
small tip: adding a litte bit of clear/transparent brown or amber paint to the headers after painting them silver adds alot of depth and simualtes the "heat stained" effect
This is awesome! Such a nice build! I collect some model cars, but this kind of models isn't for sale anywhere, truly unique! Nice work man!
Worth every minute! I've seen a couple of built of the GT-R but did not expect this kit to be so detailed. Great job on it bro and that engine was the cherry on top to knock it off the park! love it love it! DDE DDE!
Thanks buddy! “DDE DDE”🤣🤣 love it!!
Very nice build. Sweet engine swap. Thanks for sharing.
Man that music reminds of the old DDE intro music
Awesome work, loving your classic/modern look with those Nismo wheels and upgraded brakes 👍🏼 Engine is a beauty in there too, well done ☺️👍🏼
Haha glad you like it man. Appreciate the feedback 👍🏻👍🏻
Super build!
I like that you went with black on the trim and bumpers. I did the same with my build on this kit. It's a great kit! I think I'm going to do another one.
The most gorgeous car ever made
@1:34 remember. Always cut towards your friends. Not your fingers 😂
🤣 ah man, i’m very cavalier with that bloody hobby knife thats for sure!
Your builds are something else
great video very nice did you used diffrent tyres at the end? in de end result video they dont have text on the tyres. again great video 👌🏻
Good spot Ricardo, yeah I changed it out after I finished the build, liked these ones more and forgot to mention it in the final reveal. Glad you like the video though, much appreciated
Beautiful build and detail work.
Thanks George appreciate it
Great Video!!! Great Build!!! Nice Work!!!!
Awesome thanks Mike 👍🏻👍🏻
Hey man thanks for a great video 🍻 do you also work on gunpla by any chance?
Thanks man, appreciate the feedback. I dont unfortunately. Mainly scale model cars and bikes
@@autostradamacchina no worries, I thought you might love them as well but these look like a labour of love to make... Thanks for sharing 😊
The paintwork looks incredible. Engine build too. I kinda want one :p
Are those r33 gtr seats? Really neat mod if so!
Amazing model.
So the engine, wheels and seats are from an R32 kit and the brakes were from an R34 kit. Thanks for the feedback though, really appreciate it 💪🏻
I love this channel!
😃👏👏👏👏👏👏
I love this keep it up!
Thanks mate, appreciate the feedback
Very Nice Model. I got confused with the engine-transmission swap. which transmission you used? which engine you used? Thanks
Awesome thanks Ricardo, yes I realised afterwards I should have done a better job at explaining it. I used the original transmission from the kit and used the Engine from an R32 donor kit. Hope that helps 👍🏻
Why does everyone always apply the stickers/decals and then varnish? Always in real life the stickers, brands, model, etc. come after the varnishing.
Over time these decals fade, crack and just generally deteriorate and the only way to preserve them in a good state is to spray clear over the decal
Hello mate, I hope everything is going good in your life, I just wanna say I miss your perfect models, Are you working on any model right now?
Clean engine swap :)
Great custom car. Love the upgrade Bride style seats. The engine swap is trick. I,m currently finishing a stock 2000GTR. I added some spark plug wires with fishing line and some battery leads. I changed from the factory silver to charcoal grey. I cut the trunk lid out and made up some hinges and a channel around the opening from styrene. Some thin soft solder will make a good boot rubber painted flat black. I plan on making a fuel tank to go in tjhe trunk. Your models are top notch.
Shit man.. great video. subbed Great GTR too!
Really cool. 👍
cool
Beautiful and love the engine swap. So clean. What was the silver you used and the clear afterwards? I really like how the color ended up and so glad you went with the black trim. Really great work.
Thanks man, appreciate the feedback. So the final colour is Zeropaints Anthracite ZP-1296 and the clear is also ZP’s 2K
@@autostradamacchina thanks. I wish zero paints were easy to get here. That silver is perfect. Appreciate the response.
Fantastic work!!! Amazing. One question, which kind of "glue" and "dust" did you use for carpets? Thanks
LETS GOOOO THIS IS THE BEST. I do love you truly.
Very cool build, I enjoyed your video a lot. What kind of product did you use around 12:05 for the clear effect on the dashboard quadrants?
Thanks Alex, appreciate that. I used Mr Hobby GX100
Great build, what did you soak the chrome parts in?
Its normal household bleach
@@autostradamacchina thank you sir
