I’m sorry but it’s true! I’m the type of chap that has hands and fingers and they just occasionally catch the edge of the screen on my s9. Also I’ve found a crazy life hack for those finding the 4.7 inch display on the SE too small... you just hold the phone slightly closer.... VOILA!

The XS is fine as it’s got a bit of a border, I’m on about the waterfall screens like the galaxy S9 and newer.

@@jamie74gemini87 I also used to love bezzels but when I got my 6.3 inch Android with tier drop notch I barely get accidental touches but one I lie down and type my right hand is on top of the phone and use the thumb to type and the left hand is normal so I accidentally keep pulling down the notification bar only happens if I remove my cover tho
XR battery alone is a huge upgrade over the SE

I love the front design of the SE. It's what I mentally associate with "iPhone". For some reason the new iPhones look like fancy Androids to me. I love the old era of Apple design!

I picked up the SE Product Red edition and I have to say I'm over the moon with it. Very smooth device with exceptional performance. Its been a long time since I had an iPhone as I've been Android for a few years, so I'm not tired of the bezels and actually still enjoy the design. Definitely recommend it if you're on the fence.

@@gxldnlune5012 lasts the whole day for me. I don't game on it though and I think that drains it. I do a lot of social media and UA-cam etc on it though and it's been fine 😀👍

As an update, I've put the game through some pretty intense gaming sessions with games like Call of Duty, Sonic Racers and NBA. All of which looked absolutely fantastic on a mobile device and ran smoothly on multiplayer. The battery did drop quite a bit after a few hours of gaming, but people need to remember this is an entry level phone, albeit with some great specs. If the battery was twice the size and the screen had no bezels it would be twice the price.
That A13 chip is doing so much for the SE! Imagine the A14!!!

They already have the 20 in the works! Nuts
I got the A69 chip. Me and my gay lover both have the chip.
Don't expect too much, Apple had to push power consumption substantially with the A13 as compared to the A12 to see the extra performance.

Not me that was my least favorite phone for some reason iPhone SE2 saved my heart
SE is perfect for me. It’s cheap, great camera and best processor in any phone. Screen size wouldn’t be a huge factor for me as I use an iPad Air 2 for most of my media consumption like UA-cam and gaming etc. Also the smaller battery is a small factor for me because I plan to use a battery case with it an an 18W fast charger so I’ll always have juice!
I just got mine today and its a total upgrade from my iPhone 6s Plus
Sometimes I'm unable to grasp, the lame excuses apple fanboys come up with. About the battery thing; it sounds something like-"I'm buying this car, not super great in anyway & I have another one for big purpose stuff AND it's tank too small but i would carry a petrol can with me". LOL it's 2020, why you still living with so many compromises.

I see everyone tryna complain about the SE yet nobody has bought them. I have one and the battery lasts pretty long. Compared to my 6, I could literally spend like a Hr or 2 on the last 20% without charging my phone.

There were definite differences for sure in videos and pictures. The water photo shows just how much crisper the photo is on the XR. SE2 is just a better deal for me

yeah that's what I did today! I upgraded from an LG J3 Prime to the iPhone SE in black. It's way faster, better camera, 4k video capability, and I was able to transfer all my stuff over which was nice.
Just made this switch from my pixel2..0 complaints so far. Very nice phone:)
My first iPhone was 3 years ago...the iPhone 8. My 8 is still going strong. Most android phones start acting up 1.5 to 2 years. My gf had her 6 Plus for 6 years until she dropped and broke it.
Apple’s build quality is definitely superior.
I got my iPhone SE on the first day it came out. While I've had a few Apple products before (iPod, Touch, and & iPad), this was my first iPhone. My biggest concern was going to be the screen size and being able to use it, as I have pretty big hands. However, after the first few days, I didn't miss it. When I went back to my old Android phone (Moto G7) to get some passwords I had saved on there, I was shocked at how big it felt in my hand.
After getting used to the smaller screen, I have been nothing but pleased with my SE. And to be honest, I'm actually spending less time on my screen and spending my time being more productive, since as he mentioned in the video, not as good for videos. I watch them occasionally, but don't binge like I used to. So if you're looking for a great phone that doesn't break the bank, or maybe looking for something that will help you not stay on as long, I highly recommend the iPhone SE 2020.

Rachit Bhandari The battery life is decent. I work in a building where my phone signal is awful, so it’s always searching for a signal. Even so, with minimal usage, it can last several hours. The screen brightness and speaker are both fine. No complaints on either of those.

@@muhammedthahir2748 Even after two months, I'm still loving my phone. My battery is fine. I'm still at 100% battery health, although I've been more careful than previous phones about topping off my charger. If you're not playing games, then you'll be fine for everyday use.
As far as the camera, I don't take a lot of pictures, but from the limited amount I have, the pics have come out clean, detailed, and pretty good color balance. Obviously lighting effects the pictures, but in natural light, it works great.

You're right about SE being better value right now but no one actually acknowledges that XR is gonna be like 450$ or less once the 12 series comes out. But even then it's personal preference

Mike it was refurbished but it has not a single scratch or anything on it. Xr got a much bigger screen, a fatter battery, cooler colors, and still fast speed just a tad bit slower than the SE. so to me it was rly worth it. Look for unlocked phones on eBay with return policies so u don’t get fucked over

Hi Brandon. Going to the phone shop today to make the final decision on the se. I am going from an I phone 8. This phone has had so many problems. In fact it is a replacement but has still got many faults. I have been reading up on the se and vids like yours really help. We are in the uk and I don’t think we have the xr. 😀
XR gang. It’s my first iPhone and it’s the perfect size for me. Camera’s really good. I can FaceTime my family and friends. The phone is a big upgrade because I had an Obama phone. It’s gorgeous, shiny, and very cool overall. I recommend buying the iPhone XR. You won’t be disappointed.

I just got the new SE a little over a week ago and I absolutely love it! The size is much better than my old 8 plus and doesn't flop around in my pocket as much. The battery has also been very solid and I get over 6 hours of on screen time with about 80% of the battery used. The camera is also much better than my old 8 plus! All around a fantastic phone and I highly recommend it to anyone who is on the fence about getting one!

Selling my Xr for the Se. I’m sick of big phones. I have tiny hands and get hand cramps. I also miss the original features such as the Touch ID. Can’t compare
Breanne Garai exactly. I’m a 31 year old male 6’1 decent sized hands and yes they even cause cramps on me. No cramps some I bought the red SE and I can one hand everything and dots in my pocket way better
Breanne Garai you should’ve got the XS. The XS has better features than the XR and the XS is small yet powerful. Unless you really miss touch ID I say go for it
The XR is definitely a heavy phone and a little awkward when using with one hand.. I may go from the xr to se as well and use iPad at home.

been using the SE for about two weeks now and i adore this thing. battery life is a lot better than most have stated. it’s my first iPhone, im coming off of an android that i shouldnt have kept running for as long as i did lol. planning on sticking with apple from here on out

Yeah. Just the facial recognition alone makes it superior. I agree. But short of that and theater screen I could use the se. I had an Xr and its too big for the pocket and large to control with one hand. But the xr is a beast. Better battery life and facial recognition i agree

My first iPhone was the original SE. I’ve had the XR for just over a year now and I still love it!
Good review. Didn’t expect a bottom button phone from Apple since they were going towards Face ID. Buying this to upgrade my wife’s iPhone 7.

I’m going to buy the SE over the XR (despite me originally saving for the XR) mainly because the SE is cheaper and has a faster chip set and alright camera and I LOVE the home button so I can use the extra money for something else
But the battery is not good for heavy use

The camera settings on the XR changes with iOS 14. It now has greater capabilities. I have the XR and it's gotten better every year with software updates. I started on iOS 12 and I'm now on 14.2. I still have 100% battery health, so it looks like I'm keeping it for 1 - 2 more years. Then I'll upgrade to a 5G phone.
When you will decide to chane your phone, please write me or reply me and I will buy your old XR 😂
I want to get an XR, I want the bigger screen but without the massive price tag. Plus I still like the classic looking back.

My first phone is going to be the new se. I’m in high school, I live in a small town that doesn’t really have technology. I pick it up tomorrow! I’m so excited! I’m going to have to explain to my family about it.
the XR camera does have the touch to change camera settings now since ios 14, 1080p to 4k to 30 - 60 fps etc :)
it is now since the newest ios upgrade? what about portrait mode does it get any other added effects? does it finally has the swipe up camera controls? is the overall camera upgrade gets similar to the SE?
im so sorry for asking too many questions, I'm just confused on either getting xr or se, and the camera features by the time this video was made kinda have a pretty big difference on my decision ;(

Ordered the xr and I’m getting it in a few days. Overall pleased with my purchase because unless you are incredibly picky with the camera settings and the “I want to unlock my phone without looking at it,” the battery and screen size and sound etc is superior to the se
My 8 plus just cracked so I just ordered the new SE, and cannot wait to try it out. I miss having a smaller phone, the 8 plus is awkward to hold one handed for me personally. I also like having a dedicated home button.
Enjoy it it will be much smaller but you’ll gain more longevity but ur probably going to get worse battery life but there will be improvements across the board.
Bought an XR the day before the SE2 came out :,(. I really like it, but it is just a little big to have it with you during exercise

I literally bought the se just because it had a button. Even switched from samsung to apple just because rhe se seemed to be the only new phone with a home button
Well it isn't a physical home button it's a part of the display. But knows when you are pressing, it a motor that produces that feeling that you are pressing a button.
But it's not an actual button.
