- If one gets botox for lip lines (also called smokers or barcode lips) they may end up seeing a long distance lip to nose. This is also called the ergotrid area. Be careful the solution may be as simple as a different treatment for lip lines.

But if you get the botox above the lip area (not by the nose) ..wouldnt it give a lip flip make the philtrum shorter? The botox lip flip?
I would think A long ergo tread not only covers your gums but it covers your teeth! Not sure what you mean by a gummy smile. That makes me think of a short ergo tread or really really long teeth and gums that show no matter what. I have the long ergo tread and small teeth and it looks like I don’t have teeth unless I draw my lips back in a what looks like a scowl

There was a young woman on real self. And she got a thread left in her philtrum. And it was amazing! She looks so much younger. I don’t know if it lasted but she really looked so good!

This makes no sense. It seems like you are contradicting yourself. You don't GET a gummy smile from using Botox, the Botox gets RID of the gum exposure. Sooooo anyway, if she's got a longer ergotrid how does she "not need it"? again, not sure what you are trying to say here.
watch a few times and keep in mind botox stops muscle movements and movement lift this muscle.
