I've decided to stick with hyrolonic acid which only makes my face red and retinol with naicinimide at nite.
Whenever you use an acid you must be very careful to protect your skin from the sun. It is exfoliating off the dead outer layer and exposing new tender skin. You have to be even more diligent than normal because acids cause you to be more sun sensitive.
I have trouble with serums and I really want to use one but I have trouble with “pilling” when I put a moisturizer over it. I’m pretty sure my skin is exfoliated enough. Don’t know why I can only take a moisturizer on my skin, I really want to use HA and Vit C serum. It shouldn’t have to be one or the other. Ugh.
@@lindat1317 It could be the moisturizer. For the summer I had to switch to Clinique. It is lightweight enough for me to apply my Solar MD sunscreen over without it being cakey.
Greetings, what type of reaction do you have from mandelic acid? Personally, I use the PHA serum by natorium. It is a very gentle and hydrating chemical exfoliant serum. Research it and try it you might like it. Of course, do a spot test first behind your ear. Also look into fruit acids, that might be a great alternative for you as well. If you're sensitive to acids in general, stick with lower percentages one, two or three% depending on the acid. Hope this helps.💓

Thank you for always giving us such great info
I am a lite skinned Latina and I used Wishtrend Mandelic acid and immideatly got a large brown spot the size of my pinkie nail. Also I used Paula's choice 2 percent bja and got more brown spots. I've decided to stick with hyrolonic acid which only makes my face red and retinol with naicinimide at nite.
You know Hyaluronic acid isn’t really acid right? It shouldn’t make you red at all, because it isn’t an acid.
Whenever you use an acid you must be very careful to protect your skin from the sun. It is exfoliating off the dead outer layer and exposing new tender skin. You have to be even more diligent than normal because acids cause you to be more sun sensitive.
@@Keyshadarling thank you.
Dr. Please help with eyes bags and dark. I just weak up with that surprise. I’m sad 😞
Great video I absolutely love my acids, I rotate .
The best Vitamin C is Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate
In revision?
I have trouble with serums and I really want to use one but I have trouble with “pilling” when I put a moisturizer over it. I’m pretty sure my skin is exfoliated enough. Don’t know why I can only take a moisturizer on my skin, I really want to use HA and Vit C serum. It shouldn’t have to be one or the other. Ugh.
Just using a face wash only would be beneficial if you can’t use the serums. I would let it sit in my skin for a couple of minutes before rinsing.
You are probably using too much serum, and maybe not allowing some time (5 minutes) for the serum to penetrate before applying moisturiser.
it is the combo. They dont get along so alternate nights
@@lindat1317 It could be the moisturizer. For the summer I had to switch to Clinique. It is lightweight enough for me to apply my Solar MD sunscreen over without it being cakey.
thankyou Anil Rajani
Mandelic acid wrecks my skin, can't use Retin-A either. Would love to fix the glycation that is creeping in.
Try Medic8 r-retinoate cream. It’s amazing! No irritation whatsoever.👍
Look into bakuchiol an alternative to retinol. Good luck.
