My tearful moment of gratitude is when I look at my kids. Maybe they are performing in a school choir or helping a younger child or sleeping so sweetly, but I feel like I can't believe I get to be part of their journey.🔥
My thoughts of gratitude is when my children & Grandchildren and my Mum brother & aunt are all Sat around my table Christmas Day enjoying my Christmas roast dinner. As I watch them I always tear up as 10 yrs ago with Cancer I didn’t think I would be here now, but I am and always feel so grateful & blessed that every Christmas I now get to spend my loved ones. Your home 🏡 is so cosy and beautiful, one day it will be filled with a family of your own too. Always watch till the end Maddie, you inspire me so much in so many ways. Thankyou ❤🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
🔥This one included all the things I love about your channel; Your daily routine, out and about with Alex, the really helpful chat about meal planning, shopping, and cooking, and especially, anything about the house. The Christmas decor you added to what are already the coziest rooms I can imagine are just adding to my own joy in this season. Thank you!
Your content is so relatable! Talking through meal planning, managing anxiety, and doing small things to make your space cozy and calming and nice. Thank you for all you do. ❤
🔥 Mix of patterns, colors, textures adds a bit of life to a home. The older I get the more I live with what I love regardless of trends. Your home is so inviting. Thanks for vlogmas. Festive feeling.
I love your honesty in this post, mental health is a constant battle and still so stigmatised, it’s refreshing to hear somebody talk so openly about it, your house is beautiful and I’m much like you the older I get I love the mismatched colours that make things cozy. x
You made perfect sense! Yes I miss my husband of 32 yr, gone 11 yrs now but sooo very grateful for my lovely 2 yr old grandson and my 18 yr old grandson that just joined the US Air Force and well the rest of my family. Christmas is a time of celebration for all our good fortune. Merry Christmas y’all
🔥I can totally relate to the overwhelming feeling of joy that comes when you are having a good mental health day. As someone who has PMDD, I am so aware of my ups and downs, and recently felt so grateful for how far I’ve come in my life. I was standing in my classroom at a school I love teaching at, recently engaged and feeling more at peace with myself than I have in years ❤️
Dear Madeleine, I'm spending my evening continuing my crochet project, lighting up the fireplace, and watching your Christmas videos. And I won't forget about the mulled wine either.
Totally relate to the gratitude. I think we go through life and so busy we don’t always stop and notice what we have. When you do it brings such wonderful feelings to the surface. Christmas always does this for me. I enjoy each little moment, the hot chocolate, the mince pie, the walk in a frosty woods. Lovely vlog as always ❤ Others I watch - most the ones you mentioned and also Ellen Millen, Ellie Swift, Alex Coll (not sure if that’s correct spelling, only recently followed her)🔥
Your home is so cozy! I love it. I’m loving my small living room more this year than ever before. Thinking that I finally got the furniture arrangement right. I hope your holidays are wonderful. ❤️🎄
I so enjoy your videos! When you and Alex are busy doing things in the kitchen makes me feel like I'm a guest. My son has moved out so i miss the hustle and bustle of people around every day in the kitchen. 🔥
🔥love that you are so open to experiencing glimmer moments in your day-to-day life✨ what a great reminder to be grateful for what we already have. Also love Alex's cheeky dancing in the background ❤
I'm also watching Mark Ferris' vlogmas. I watch XO Macenna all the time and she's doing vlogmas again this year. I love that you're still doing long vlogs for vlogmas and most people do smaller videos as they're doing more. Your home is beautiful, it looks so cosy and homely. 🔥
Yes Christmas is full of moments of quiet reflection which can make it feel either quite melancholy or quite magical ✨ loving your vlogmas, very easy to watch and peaceful which is lovely amongst so many chaotic and in-your-face excitable vlogmasses from other channels ❤️🎄
Your living room has the coziest Christmas vibe! Maybe some Christmasy ribbon on the mistletoe under the clock. Thank you for being so honest about about your mental health. 🔥
🔥🔥 Such a cosy video! I’ve been feeling gratitude with the “I like this little life” song on TikTok - makes me notice how much I love my life and how it doesn’t have to be big and extravagant, but it’s mine and I love it 🔥🔥
🔥 your home is gorgeous and needs colour and the lovely second hand pieces. Following trends is the absolute worst ive never done it just have what you love.
🔥🔥🔥 Watching your winter videos always makes me want to live in a cold climate. But also it dropped to the 40s earlier this week in Central Florida and I spent the entire day cacooned in a blanket..so I think I'll stick to watching your videos for now ❄️
Speaking of gratitude and everything, this year has been probably my lowest year so far, but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, and I know you went through low times in the past, so to see you so happy makes me so happy and makes me hopeful for the future, and your vlogs give me a lot of comfort and joy, they have done for many years now (I started watching during your vlogmas when you were first moving to Cornwall to your cottage) ❤
I love your blogs so much! My family hails from Cornwall and Devon and I’ve always wanted to visit! When you show the villages and streets! My heart melts!
The potted tree is what I do, means I dont have to store a tree or cut one down, I juat bring it in bring our front garden - i personally think its the most sustainable.
I love how Christmas makes me feel so much gratitude. I always feel the need to make everything perfect, but then I tell myself that no one wants perfection. They just want time together. 🔥
The little village you drove through and the country lanes are just heaven to me. Living in a major city, city life can just be so stress, so many ppl. I mean I luv living in Birmingham, but the dream would be to live in Devon or Cornwall.
I just love the intimacy of these daily vlogs of vlogmas! I believe o found you last Christmas because of vlogmas and this year I’ve decided to do it myself! Thank you for sharing bits of your life and home ❤️
Ellen Miller is a smaller channel and I love her vlogmas, she has the sweetest personality and really has a wonderful positive energy. She recently moved, and she has a fulltime job so realy nice to see how she is bringing in festive moments and her videos are well filmed and edited. I also like Chelsea Callahan in New York as she just went FT on youtube, chaotic 30-something but I can relate.
🔥Your House is so beautful! I totally agree with you, that it needs all the stuff, the colors and patterns to get cozy. I could not image a cottage with minimal stuff
I love Alex's method of measuring plant pots 😁 I think I'll do it that way from now on. Minimalism takes many forms and who needs to be put in a box or labelled anyway, as long as your surroundings induce happiness and fulfilment, that's all that matters. I loved listening to the fire crackling at the end 🔥
I’m loving seeing you more frequently (keep it up but don’t burn yourself out!) and gratitude is something that makes us all feel so connected so thank you for sharing your thoughts you are not alone! X
I feel so much of this. Sometimes I wonder why I do this (before UA-cam, it was blogging for years, and then trying to grow on Instagram)…I ask myself all the same questions…do I need to be seen and heard? Stay at home mom is such an invisible job. Do I need validation? Or do we just have something to share with the world? I too just love capturing the moments and imagine looking back on the videos as time capsules. When I get caught up in my head and feel disappointed that I have so few subscribers and views, my husband gently reminds me that I simply love doing it and that I keep being called back to it. Do it for yourself and the small handful of people you’re touching and enjoy the freedom of being small because blowing up on here isn’t easy either. Enjoy the process. Keep showing up. I see you. Hugs 🤗
I am happy that my grown up son is spenning x-mas whit me and my cat. I lost my husband 5 years ago. I miss him, but I love x-mas and this years I've got more friends and do things during december. 😊👍🔥
🔥Thank you for being such a lovely, insightful and honest person… wishing you, Alex and family a wonderful Christmas and a New Year filled with joy and peace💜
🔥 for Maddie! I love to see your traditional English home and how it’s become more traditional. It’s very different from my central California ranch houses. I do agree about wanting to add more greenery and life indoors throughout the year though.
Lydia Milian and Tamara Kalinic are two other fav vlogmasses…sending a big holiday hug from the US! Thank you for lifting our spirits this festive season
As someone who still considers themselves a ninimalist but never really got into the minimalist aesthetic i agree that the coziness of eclectic decor is where its at. I have lots of floral and plaid as well as pink and green in my decor. Not a lot of decorative elements (that's the minimalist part) but where they exist they are bright, colorful, and cozy.
I’m so happy to have your videos to come home to after a long day at the library, I can’t wait for that Christmas feeling to set in when I’m back in Germany with my family🔥🔥🔥 All the best from Edinburgh x
I get you so much! I love my house so much, there is not a lot that I need, but I need beautiful house full of things that I enjoy and love and Christmas is the best time of my year every year. I love keeping myself busy baking gingerbreads, making dumplings, wreaths, burning candles. There is no other time like that and that tears me up too. And this year we have a little baby in my belly, so it's far more emotional than ever. Thank you for today 🔥
🎄 Maddie, I really resonated with so much of what you said in this particular video. The sense of peace and gratitude that comes with mental struggles when things are, not even doing super well, but feeling calm- there are these truly beautiful moments of being content almost because of that contrast. I also loved hearing about your connection with bringing in more nature and coziness to your home. That is also something I am currently re-realizing for the hundredth time! Bringing life into a space, and lushness, and a little romance with some twinkle lights or candles or a fire... Thank you for your content today, and your beautiful introspection. Sending love from my home and family to yours. 🔥
🔥🔥 can't wait to finally have the book in my hands so I can make this delicious looking stirfry! Oh and agreed about the colorful home decor, your home is so well suited to it ❤
Maddie, I live in the Palm Springs area of Southern California, which is a desert 🐪. I thoroughly enjoy the glimpses of your country roads and village streets scenes with the lovely quaint shops…. Thank you for sharing your part of the world with me! Love you
🔥 I understand those moments of complete gratitude, I too make the most of them, as the feeling sad is usually quite extreme, I have been watching you forever and as always love the realness, rawness of your videos, life isn't perfect, nor should it be made to look so, sending hugs to all of you❤❤❤
Love how your lounge looks, it's the picture of a perfect cozy cottage at Christmas! I'm trying to be a "realistic-minimalist". I've never been particularly crazy about stuffing every corner of my house with decor, at the same time I need colour and textures to make me feel at home. I have been fortunate enough to travel and live in different countries and so my house is a mish mash of different cultural items, many gifted items, some inherited ones. And I love it! 🔥
Been looking forward to vlogmas for a while 🥰 I like to decorate for the seasons. I have different garlands that go around my fireplace and I swap out some of the cushion covers and small trinkets. It's nice to bring some of the outside world into your comfy space 🔥
Your sitting room is just gorgeous! So snuggly and perfect. It’s so nice to see a traditional Christmas - hot weather in Australia doesn’t quite hit the mark. Also my beautiful nephew died by suicide three days before Christmas in 2020, so our family will never really enjoy Christmas again.
Absolutely nothing beats a warm loaf of bread (thanks Alex can't wait to get your recipe) and butter (vegan of course)!!!!! Thanks madeleine for filming I know it's a bit hard!
Maddy, your house is absolutely gorgeous, it really is straight out of a Pinterest magazine (if only that were a thing!) and the living room looks so Christmassy and adorable 🔥 It’s lovely to hear you talk about feelings of gratitude also, focusing on the positive isn’t something you see a lot of, so thank you ❤
I'm watching your vlogmas. My favorite is you. 🎄Your sweater garland is adorable. I'm so tempted to go buy mushrooms. You are right, scarred by school and mum's cream of mushroom soup. Can I learn to love mushrooms at 60? If I do Maddie, it will be all thanks to you. Alex 😃 Putting some tree branches--sticks, nicely shaped ones, in a vase can help to bring nature into your home. We keep a small green faux tree without ornaments up year round for the times that we can't get out in nature. A person never stops evolving. Change is good. There is a lot of reflection at Christmas time for Christmas past. Sometimes it brings joy and other times a bit of sadness. Love your videos and so appreciate you doing vlogmas. I've preordered your book and can't wait until January to receive it. 🔥
I’m from cornwall so it’s so weird watching all the places I’ve been to growing up and go to when I go back on UA-cam! Been watching you for ages and love your cosy vlogs and your openess about mental health ❤️
Hi Maddie, l always love your intro makes you feel warm and cosy inside great, your living room is very cosy, you live in a lovely part of the country, very pretty even when it is cold, yes you reflect a lot this time of year and it makes you grateful for family and friends and the life you live xx
I love your long vlogs. They are really comforting as I live alone and am single so its like having a friend chatting away. Im watching Jessica Rose Williams. I came to your channel from hers x p.s. u look really happy, healthy and flowy and beautiful lately. Red really suits you and your make up and hair is lovely. I think the last hair cut you had was really nice and she cut your bangs a good length. I love mushrooms and they are a good mood booster for winter I read somewhere a while back. That stir fry looked delicious. Front room looks gorgeous and Christmassy ❤ def had tear inducing gratitude before. Its nice that you stay so grateful xx 🔥
Try fermenting beetroot.. It's so easy and tastes great.. Try lemons too.. So nice to add to dishes.. I could go on.. Garlic too.. Great in pasta with the lemon and beetroot ❤
Maddie you should definite visit Sicily. The food is amazing and a lot of it is naturally vegan and delicious. Pasta alla Norma is originally from there. Loving Vlogmas lots of love from Italy
My tearful moment of gratitude is when I look at my kids. Maybe they are performing in a school choir or helping a younger child or sleeping so sweetly, but I feel like I can't believe I get to be part of their journey.🔥
Isn’t it the best! 🥺 🥰
Agreed- the colorful, patterned vibe is exactly what your house calls for. It's absolutely gorgeous especially at this time of year.
It really fits it doesn’t it!

I've been feeling so much heartfelt gratitude towards everything in life lately. It's such a beautiful feeling internally. 🔥🎄

Love xo macenna’s vlog and main channels too and is always awesome for #vlogmas
I was looking to see if someone mentioned her. That girl is incredible.

Perfect pair!
🔥 your calming voice always puts my toddler to sleep for her naps. She’s been refusing her bed and just napping on the couch as I watch your vlogs.
I can’t give vlogmas recommendations because your one is the only one I’ve consistently been watching! Loving it, thank you! 🔥
I love your blogs so much! My family hails from Cornwall and Devon and I’ve always wanted to visit! When you show the villages and streets! My heart melts!
I always love yours, rhiannon ashlee's and fleurdeforce's vlogmases ❤️✨

The coziest Christmas living room 🔥
It’s feeling so so cosy!
It's so beautiful where you live! What a lovely landscape to drive around in. 🔥
What u r saying makes sense
I’m so happy for you
You work very hard
Enjoy the fruits of your labours 😊❤
Thankyou for letting us into your world

Try fermenting beetroot.. It's so easy and tastes great.. Try lemons too.. So nice to add to dishes.. I could go on.. Garlic too.. Great in pasta with the lemon and beetroot ❤
Oooh that sounds absolutely delicious!
You can ferment just about anything.. The taste is amazing.. Beetroot juice is gorgeous.. Now that would be good in your smoothie ❤
Maddie you should definite visit Sicily. The food is amazing and a lot of it is naturally vegan and delicious. Pasta alla Norma is originally from there. Loving Vlogmas lots of love from Italy
