Aloha Coach Gerald, thanks your challenge is exactly what I need. I shared with my partners and we are ready to go. Looks great and will be ready to play the moment the courts open up. Thanks so motivated. You are the best. Will stay focused as additional videos appear.
@Glady Started slowly, got better at the drills, as I did them daily. After 30 days I had increased the number of reps and added other drills. In April 2021 Covid restrictions were eased and my club reopened. I continue to do my drill routines on my non playing days. It helped me maintain my conditioning during lock down and helped to prevent injuries.
any recommendations for a replacement of the calf jumpc swings? i dont have access to a very high ceiling and its fucking cold outside at the moment :D
It's my pleasure to help! What kind of change do you want to have? I think it's better we start from there, agree? I'm giving framework while leaving parts open ended so that you can modify it to fit your goals.
As many reps of good form as you can in 40 seconds. So basically 40 seconds do as many as you can, rest for 20 seconds, move on to the next exercise and do 40 seconds as many as you can, rest for 20, and repeat
Hey Valli, firstly, you must definitely warm-up otherwise it's VERY easy to get injured during speed drills. Secondly, it's not good because in order to get very good performance, it's important to build a strong fitness base, then work towards developing strength, and achieve faster speeds and performance. Think of it as a pyramid, working only on the topic makes it impossible to build a tall pyramid. Although I have to admit, for most of my youth I was training speed-endurance type exercises and I still managed to clinch an age group title. So if you must train ONLY speed exercises, make them longer, like over 40seconds to 2 minute type of sets instead of really short exercises. Hope this clarifies things!
Thanks for the feedback, yeah throughout the filming we thought the mic was connected, turns out it wasn't, so I had to use software to remove the background noise and that make me sound funny
5:53 don’t do that exercise, the sit up motion is actually extremely bad for your spine. Instead type in ab workouts on UA-cam and you will be great 👍🏾

Is it necessary to keep the racket leg at front while serving?
For singles or for doubles? For singles it helps out quite a lot, doubles not so much.
