Simon, a bloke in the woods Absolutely love this one again , Zed is one of my favourite UA-camrs , Zed always says hello to me so I’m so pleased you made a collaboration together next time get Zed in a canoe with Kent Survival that will be fantastic ❤️❤️👌
Zed sent me! Looking forward to seeing all the things you have hand made, the yummy food, and your excellent adventures! I'be been wanting to find a UA-camr in the Norfolk area as that's where my grandfather came from nearly 100 years ago. I may never get there in person, but I look forward to seeing the area.
When I lived in San Diego, California, I sometimes would go to a taco shop before work, and get a “breakfast burrito”. Your breakfast reminded of that. They put some potato in them too. (Just cut up potato the same size as your veggies and cook in pan together.) Yummy!
Thanks Simon ,good video, I liked it A lot and that food looked very good also . Love the music that you always pick . Well , now time to watch his video. Have a very good day . Until next time .
It's ironic that this old video should show up in my feed this morning. I make a version of "landfill" all the time. In fact, it's cooking now as I type. This morning, I put in chopped up smoked ribs we had at camp this past weekend.
Always a pleasure when viewing Simon's videos. He often takes us to, and reminds us, that the simple local patch of woods holds what a human needs - a mini getaway from modern civilization shared with a friend. Thanks Simon for sharing your work and pleasure on UA-cam.
I am always so EXCITED to get anything from you. Your adventure and camping videos are always so PURE and a just a "feel good'. Your countryside is amazing. No need to go anyplace else . You have it all there. Even if you camped in the same spot over and over it would NEVER get old because you show us something different each time. We actually get to see some of the beauty in nature instead of looking at the person face the WHOLE ENTIRE time. Besides, it motivates me to paint what I love most>>>anything in nature. thank you.
Wow this guy is enjoying his moments 10x and also free health surety..This wilderness, toughness and health are so envious. I can feel it because I used to go for hunting with my dad.
Chilli for breakfast! Reminds me of my Old Man's sea stories...one ship he sailed on had an Indian crew, there was curry for lunch, dinner, supper AND Breakfast!
Gotta love the kids for complimenting the meal with a very accurate discrption . Bet it tastes good though . Zed looked like good company looking forward to the overnighter.👍
Seems to be more of a brunch with the walk about you took before you stopped to eat. Great video as always Simon thanks for taking us along. Hey Zed good to meet ya
I'm just in awe of the beauty that is in your videos. I think I said before that it's like a storybook. There is nothing like that here that is not privately owned. Just gorgeous. Zed said what I was thinking, that you were very lucky to live in that area. And thanks to your adventures we get to see it too. Great video!!
Zed Outdoors and Kent Survival are longtime favorites of mine. You find yourself in very good company! Well...why shouldn't you? Zed's channel needs a bit of a lift since he has a time-demanding day job. After an hiatus, he is back in the woods. Might you visit his shelter for a follow-on joint video? Meanwhile, I (and I imagine thousands of others) look forward to new postings from Kent Survival.
Me too James! I’m glad he’s back! I think a wild camp up this way is on the cards for my next video with Zed- I would like to visit his shelter though! 👍
good video... My grandson says that he likes that table and the little folding grill looks like a transformer… he went out to his mothers garden and yanked up two handfuls of mint, from his mother garden, gathered up a couple arm loads of sticks and twigs, laid them out like you did went and got my zebra pot and a grill a jug of water and drug me outside to the side yard and wanted me to light the fire and brew up some tea… LOL so I tossed in a couple earl gray tea bags and a few sprigs of mint… I don’t recommend it but for a late afternoon outside with the boy it was great
Great vid, great food , great day by the looks, and reference your toilet paper, there's actually great toilet paper at 00.25 called comfry. An edible and a bushcraft T,paper as well, but not both at the same time.
A new collaboration, "Two blokes giggling in the woods". Most excellent! I think "landfill" might be going on the menu at Cub Camp next year. As my late father-in-law would say. That Linda McCartney, for a skinney lass they sure got a lot of sausages! Cheers Al
It's always good to see you, Simon. Even better when you are with another of my favorite UK bushcrafters. Great to see you two crafty gents hanging about on a lazy-ish afternoon. I look forward to another from you and Zed, Andy, Ginger or any of the other fine company you keep. Hugs to Maggie. 👍
What a beautiful place. Landfill! I love their sense of humour! I haven't heard the word swanky in years. I thought my old auntie had invented it. I Thanks for a great video x
I've seen you use the PCF hot sauces in various videos, so I went to their site and ordered some samples. Now THAT STUFF is good, particularly the Garlic Sauce of Death.
You guys look like you had more than just mint in that tea. Giggle drink. That looked like a good breakfast, interesting name for it. Thank you for the links. I'm checking out that folding grate. By the way Simon, thank you for the information about your knife. Mine just arrived, and I really like it. Bushcraft boar knife is perfect for camping. I've felt so much more at peace now that I've got my kayak and try getting out once a week. If the weather cooperates I'll go out two or three times a week until winter gets here. Again thank you for your enthusiasm being out on the water, it was the encouragement that got me to buy the kayak. I'm enjoying my outings.
two of my favourite bushcraft fellas in one video! Great collab, looking forward to the next. Landfill is definitely on the menu chez moi over the weekend.
Got to say Simon Your like a modern day John Nokes! !! Who was my hero as a lad .... Im inspired to use my New fire steal this weekend ....and im gonna make a mint ginger lemon and honey tea... ... my wife tells me I need to get out more ...😂
I'm learning to spot and identify plants that grow wild that are nutritious food and medicinal plants ...I just hope I don't poison myself in the process!!
That '' landfill '' looked really nice, do love a few mushrooms, peppers and onion. Also just subscribed to zed, so will be looking forward to watching his uploads over the next few days or so. 🔥🔥
Guys seriously....what on earth is that type of mint tea??!! Haha! Loving the end - you both have a very contagious laugh! Awesome video as always, thanks for sharing! Don't take too long until the next one 😎👍

@Jeanette Swalberg Hi Jeanette and welcome! I’ve got quite a few videos showing some of my favourite Norfolk spots - I hope you enjoy them! 😁😂

I appreciate how often you guys support each other in the Bush Craft Community! It is really nice to see.
Zed was quite complimentary. Even in the middle of the woods, the British keep their civility and grace. Love it.
Hahaha, always! Tea and Tiffin! 😁
