Utan tvekan UA-cams bästa (porsche)bygge. Väldigt informativa och bra videos utan en massa tjaffs, kvalité rakt igenom! Ser fram emot att se bilen klar.
By far my preferred cooking show. Amazing work, I can tell you are really happy with the whole thing starting to look like something drivable. Can't wait for the day you drive this for the first time! Hope you are going to continue uploading videos explaining the on track setup process and overall feel of the car. Probably won't make it to the 964 meet in Sweden this year but hope to see it in the flesh when it is done at some point.
With Slic3r you can trick the printer that you are using two extruders, this allows you to print stuff facedown, and do two colours on one layer. Works brilliantly with the powder coated sheet and Hilbert curve bottom layer. I use this method to make perfectly flat and textured coasters!

Really enjoyed watching your build develop--getting near the last mile!! A suggestion on the brake balance adjuster--it's something you'll use with increasing frequency as you get good with this car. I'd recommend a bigger knob, away from other switchgear, so that you won't foul other controls even if you have to dial in additional rear bias in gloved hands every couple laps ...
Wow...some nice work there. The car is looking great. Love the idea to 3d print and then get the parts machine out of billet aluminium. You're giving me great ideas for my next car.
My questions to myself is if I dare to...and if my sanity will remain intact once I know 🤣🤣 If there is something in particular you need input on please feel free to drop me a mail at info@islandworks.one
Excessive, but really light! In fact, I would not be able to make them lighter using slot and tab as I would be stuck with a fixed material thickness. In this design due to the machined pockets, it reduced the weight significantly.
Good evening! Much interested in your steering column…. In my project - as you are a little aware of I would like to skip the steering servo - which is not possible with original parts. Will you print and sell the parts? Also interested how its looks on the other end! All the best and thanks for the best YT channel //Peder
Great video as always. One quick question for you. How severe would you say the off line issue with the seat, steering wheel, and pedal box is on a standard 964? I knew the pedal box was offset to the right a bit, but didn't know the steering wheel was off center.
It’s not a great bit, but it’s there and since I could move both steering wheel and offset seat a bit I decided to do it. In the end I’m not sure it matters.
@@islandworks thank you so much! How big are you? I'm 6'2" tall, have quite broad shoulders but a skinny ass (32 ish waist) and chicken legs! Torn between the normal (for snugness at the hips) and the XL (to accommodate broad shoulders and get harnesses height right)?
I’m not very tall to be honest. Also with the Tilletts they allow you to put the seat extremely low. My setup uses the tallest holes, but no sliders. With sliders and one of the lower holes there should be plenty of headroom for any length.
You deserve more views and subscribers, this build and the content you bring is awesome! Can't wait for the next episode.
I’m happy to share my work and even happier about my cockpit!!
Sim rig tour would be a cool video!
second vote for the simrig
My new favourite YT channel. Very enjoyable!

Tack Simon!
Your 3D print design work is stunning
Oh yes Baby! I ve been waiting for that!
Grymt kul att följa din progress! Snyggt jobbat!
Tackar! Kul att du kollar!
Love the attention to detail. Really enjoying watching your progress.
Its Mad ;-)

That’s interesting! I’ll keep that in mind!

super neat designs, will be taking some inspiration for my build. :)

That’s a really good suggestion and input. I’ve never driven with a dual master cylinder so this will be something new!
You are the master of printing and testing and testing and printing. I decided you to rebuilt my car 😉
So much nicer to see you as part of the cover photo! You should do it more often! 😉
Nice progress! Hope everything comes together smoothly and you can keep your deadline!
I really hope so too!

Nicest build on UA-cam!!!
Very cool
I know its a little bit late but consider using well-nuts in place of riv-nuts wherever a rivnut is overkill
I just found your channel and so impressed!!
I like your project!! Amazing!!
wow! Mind blown.
Such a quality build, keep up the amazing work!!
Beautiful!!
Can you make roughly price run down in some future video? So I know how hard I need to work because this is a dream. Best build online.

Great content!
Most excellent
Thanks Nick!
next level as always bro
lol the billet seat rails are a bit excessive 😄 I was looking forward to more of your slot and tab design! Get the TIG out again

Thanks for the feedback! Ive not had a chance to complete this finally yet. Once I do I will find a way to share or offer this to others.
Complimenti

Will you be offering some of the 3d files for purchase on your site?
If there is interest and of use to people I can have a look. One of the issues could be that they are tailored to my crazy ideas ;-)
Is that a B6 Screamer normal size or the XL size? Thanks
Normal 👍🏻

I've been on the fence about the Tillett seats for a long time. I'm hoping to get more headroom and it looks like you have a lot -- how tall are you?

What was the original weight of the car? Also is 964 kg target kerb or dry weight?
Dry weight! I didn’t measure the weight before starting which I now regret. What I can say though is that it already started on a diet
When’s the next video Bro?
I’m hoping tomorrow!
Dudes sitting so low it looks like a child is drive .
I'm very childish :-)
