I bought a used 2018 with 290km on it... immediately took it home changed the oil full synthetic, Ran that for about 600 km and then did the full service , there was a fair bit of fine partial in the screen , after I pulled the spinner and gasket there was a lot more fine sludge behind the spinner....will most likely do that service every 1000km as it only takes about an hour to do it completely. Peace of mid service I call it.
@@NickVetter screen cleaning is every 8k miles per owner's manual. I'd just follow that but if you wanna do once then do it at break in period then do one @ 8k then every 8k after
yh if you want ti change the oil filter from the spinner and inspect the oil screen. Unfortunately the grom doesn't have the normal oil filters you can take out wiht 2 bolts without removing cases
WOOHOO GO BABE

Sick vid, start making some moto vlogs
What’s the part number for the crankcase bolt
You have a reference point where you jacked up the bike from?
you do not screw it in to check level according to the manual just push it down then back out...
Yup
if it's your 1st 2 oil change you dont have to do all that. drain and refill is all you need
How often should you do the full process?

Hey what bike stand is that and from where ?
full synthetic?? It needs half synthethic
You have to do all this just for the first oil change?
It is recommended also you dont need gaskets if you are very careful you can reuse old ones
I'd do it this way every other oil change but probably not every single one.
What all the size socket size I need?
The oil drain plug is 17mm. The side case bolts are 8mm. If you want to take off the oil spinner I believe it's a 10mm.
Not putting all the oil in then starting the bike and then putting the rest of the oil in is absolutely pointless
SCREW this gonna pay more and get a '22 OR '23....am I caazy???? Wish they made a centerstand for Groms!!!
Filtre??
You did what? You had to takeoff half of the engine to change the oil?
