I"m not happy with my new tc5---it doesn't work and makes a loud clunking noise in the bottom right---I took the cover off- fan is clear. It runs for 15 seconds and shuts off. It goes click click click when I turn the tumbler by hand in the lower right. Any ideas?
This will be my next set. I also see in the background you have the same Maytag I had for 25 yrs. I loved them when they went we bought Maytag maxima front loader. It’s been 7 yrs and I’m done. Maytag isn’t what they use to be.
I see (in the background) that you have an old-style Maytag washer, & that is a good machine! I've been working in appliances for decades. A bit of advise to you & anyone...... I'd go ahead & get the matching Speed Queen "classic" model TC-5000 washer right now as well. You'll more than likely have to place a back-order & be put on a waiting-list to get it. Alliance Laundry is "possibly" going to discontinue mass-production of the home-model washers & dryers at some point! And with the COVID-19 it seems to be hastening that to happen. SQ home-washers/dryers are at-least 4-6 months on back-order right now! So, I thought I'd put this info out there for any & all who are interested! Congrats on your great (new) Speed Queen dryer! You'll never regret purchasing it!!
Hello web Surfin. From your comment I understand you know your Speed Queen machines too well.Recently I bought a Speed Queen TC5 In every video I have watched for this model the water is running with the lid open and it also completes the cycle with the lid open.On the contrary mine works only when the lid is closed. Is this the proper way or there is something that has to be fixed.Any answer will be much appreciated.Thank you🌺
@@websurfin9575 Thank you for your answer.I did try to find a switch inside the lid but I couldn’t find one .😞Any suggestions on where else should I look? Thanks🌺
@@anvl618 On my washer there is an overhang on the back on the washer.... on the right side under there is a little lever that goes up & down. That is the lid-switch.
In this case our dryer had quit and we needed a replacement quickly. It met our requirements and was available in store from a local dealer. We have been really impressed with its performance so far. Thanks for asking.
The coin-operated of laundromats and the commercial for residential use come off the same assembly line in Ripon, WI. The only difference is the addition of the coin mechanism for laundromat use.
Lots of luck! Excellent dryer.

Nice! I just bought the set, washer & dryer today. Wish I had bought them a year ago as now instead of $1,000 they're $1,200 each.
Any problems with the lint trap like small items getting trapped because the small grill like attachment is missing?
Hello, Do you know if the Dryer buzzes at the end of cycle? Or does it Beep?
Do you own the tc5?
Odd question....does your rubber seal on your door stink?? I just got mine 2 days ago and the smell is very strong!
Hi Becky, we have not noticed a smell, but we have 9 kids so it might go unnoticed 😄
Why you not show the buzzer goes off

@@anvl618 There should be a lid-switch on your SQ TC5 washer that you can by-pass & the machine will operate with the lid open.

Hi Don we have the same dryer and it works great! You will love it!! Got the Tc5000wn to match it. Unbeatable washer and dryer
Why did you do this model dryer over the newer models?

This is a new model?
@@petermaz701 Model came out 2 years ago and is still out. Matches the tc5000 washer. There are higher models out there
@@Dr_ITguy337 by "higher" you mean more fancy and computer controlled then yes. This 1 will outlast any high tech 1
This is not a commercial machine. Commercial machines are coin operated.
Most definitely is a commercial unit. I have the TC5 washer. It literally says Commercial Heavy Duty on the machine.
Speed Queen does make commercial units. I just bought the washer and now waiting for this dryer.
