That’s awesome your wife edits the videos. I didn’t know that. And I think a lot of people would appreciate a “how to lease on a driver” video. I know I would lol 😆

Yes I would. I’m very busy and it’s hard to respond quickly, but I’m trying to get better and set time aside so email me blueskyhotshots@gmail.com

Hello sir, my name is Abzael and I am a subscriber to your hotshot UA-cam channel. I am also located in southern Oregon and currently in the process of starting my own authority and looking to be on the road by next friday. Do you offer dispatch services?
I have a 2018 Ram 2500 SRW with the 6.7 Cummins and I will be buying a big tex 25+5 trailer by the end of the week. I have a clean driving record and my mc authority will be active by the 12th or so. Thank you for your time and the all information you provide in your videos.

If you haven’t purchased the trailer yet, I honestly wouldn’t. Only having 30ft of deck space is going to severely limit you, and in this market you need every advantage. If you can find a 35+5 then buy that instead.

I am in the same situation, I have a 02 Dodge 2500 #8800 GVW. With a 35 ft trailer I don't know how much I would have left on the GCRW.

@@dcdanger6151 I thought you said it is a 2018? If it’s an 02 then I’d honestly upgrade the truck first. If you can’t do that, then go with the smaller trailer like you were saying. If it’s a 2018 then it should be fine to at least do a 30+5 if you can find one. Judging by the 8,800 gvwr it’s likely a 2002, and those older 24 valves with the 5.9 Cummins have a hard time hauling these trailers and the weight on them. I tried it with my 2001, and it didn’t go well, and mine has a whole lot of power for a 5.9.

@@Blue_Sky_Hotshotsmy truck is a 2018 with the 6.7. I still haven’t purchased my trailer and will be trying to get atleast a 30+5. My MC authority is now active but I still need to order my securement equipment and find the right trailer for a reasonable amount.

@@abzael511 I have my 2023 Big Tex 16GN 30+5 about to go up for sale. Has 8k axles and 16 ply tires, just had it on an alignment rack and the axles, hubs, brakes all gone through and it’s in great shape. Since your local it might be worth you looking at? Let me know.
