I don't know this song well but when you hear her belt out "No angel came for my little girl" at the end...that was so amazing and sad. Thanks so much for posting!
In 96 she punded on the piano surface and I LOVED it! And no she is pounding on the piano strings and gets that wierd sound. I LOVE THAT MORE! This was intense!
i love this versionn of juarez, i must have like 4 different mp3's of it. never gets old. tori used to have so much power in her live shows. ah, the good old days.
oh :( she looks like shes crying. this was right after her THIRD miscarrage buy this time she was so emotionaly drained i don't know how she kept going. this performance was intense! i definitely got goose bumps at the end.
No one ever said it was. It's from the Providence show as is clearly stated in the info section to this vid. We were just saying that we prefer the London version to this one (though this is still great!).
I think it's so stupid when people get up in the middle of performances like this.. in my only three Tori shows I didn't get up from my damn seat.. especially not something as rare as this
There should be solo tour, because she is making a musical, and then she will be making a record, and such a long time without concerts... and she MUST come to Vienna, or even to Budapest and MUST visit Mexico, Russia, Japan...
OMG. I'm listening with my son in McDonald's. Even with cheap headphones and 85 degree weather, I'm getting serious chills. I love Tori!
i was there for this show but i was in the balcony ......this was my first Tori show.....it was amazing

One of her best performances. This version is heartbreaking.
It's a bit dark, I know. It's a shame but I suppose it's better than nothing. Someone told me that this is the only existing vid of the solo Juárez.
OH MY. I feel in love.
This version is so dark, suffered and powerful!

Was @ this show. Can’t believe she’s coming back to Providence, all these years later. ❤️
I was up front that night. Hard to believe it's just about a decade ago already! Very moving to see it again.
brilliant
I love her self drums! When she performs solo it is so much fun and the sounds, reverberations are so powerful!!!
oh my god. OH MY GOD. This makes my heart ache. No angel came for my girls. TORI, I LOVE YOU. YOU DAMN FINE WOMAN.

Amazing.
True! Nothing beats London '99. It's so intense!
So far you’re right. I wonder what show this was.
@@garyguild8845 Providence, USA, 30/11 1999.
Fabulous, thank you!

She wrote this song about the thousands of women homicides in Juarez Mexico
Las Muertas de Juárez

damm.....
Well yes, that's what I meant, she dropped the key (which she didn't do in any other 1999 performances of the song, so it seems odd).
Well, I have this entire show. I can upload something more from if you want.

is there a video of the 1996 version? i can't find it.
No. Not of Juarez. I meant in general. Like Caught a Lite Sneeze. But a 1996 version would rule!
The 2001 Strange Little Tour was a completely solo tour, wasn't it?
The song was inspired by many rapes, tortures and murders of girls and women in the city of Ciudad Juarez, Mexico.
ummm YAH!
Oh, I wish, Annabelle! No, wasn't there, would have been so cool though...
@GDGspire Might be because she's singing about the rape, mutilation and murder of hundreds of girls. : (
The improvised bridge may be a reference to her third miscarriage (she decided to tour after that and found some kind of healing) ... How sad
She's in the wrong key at the beginning of this song, but it's still a hot performance.
