I am looking at a light blue summer jacket now. Thanks for this.
Great outfit. My go-to with a light-mid blue sportcoat is a light grey or cream pair of chinos. If the sportcoat is a solid colour (and very likely the pants), I'll usually bring in some pattern into the shirt in the form of something like a bengal stripe in light blue and white. A one-piece collar is ideal for such outfits. Definitely with you on the brown suede loafers!
Dark green and light blue works for me. Ever looked at a tree against a blue sky?

I would pair the light blue jacket with:
Shirt: light blue pencil stripe shirt
Trousers: white and black houndstooth/light Gray fresco trousers
Tie: Champagne/light brown neat print tie with blue accents in the print
Pocket square: White linen square with a nonchalant fold
Socks: navy
Shoes: dark brown Alligator penny loafers

Our sport chino is machine washable, and we've now stocked it in navy.

Personally, I'm having a hard time with the Khaki trouser. Don't really like the contrast. I prefer the lighter trouser, snuff suede shoe.
