First! I really enjoy watching your videos, especially seeing Marisa experiment and learn. I'm doing the same in my own way. The little tips along the way are great because it shows Daniel's experience and thought process against Marisa's. It's a great contrast between their problem solving and styles.
I liked more light on her face showing the eye detail, the technique is great as are Marisa's photos. She is great behind the camera and in front of it. More mentoring please. Thanks Daniel, Marisa and Sarah 😀👍🇨🇦
I really enjoy this series. It's like watching a friend explain nuances without a lectern. To paraphrase (poorly) 'shifting her leg will bring more/less light on her face' Who knew? ... Daniel. So many nuggets of experience to pick up in a third of an hour. Thank you.
Great video, Daniel i love the way how you teach photography .. note: on almost every picture the models left arm is distrackting, the fall off of the red light on her left arm, amplifies this even more, also the way Marissa hold her right arm (to high) gives a slight disbalance on her camera.
Amazing video as always, love your work, a true highlight of my day. BUT!! the sound on this one seams rather clipped. otherwise perfect mixture of education and entertainment, keep up the great work. Thank you all the way from Scotland!
Yes for Marisa moving the light. It'll help understand her how the light changes.
Such fab shots!
Moving to behind the camera for Marisa is a wonderful opportunity
Go, Marissa! You’re fantastic and I can’t wait to see what you do!
The addition of the mobile/close up camera is a nice touch
really enjoying this series of videos, marisa's natural enthusiasm is a joy to see, and seeing her develop as a photographer, well done daniel.
Really good episode! Beautiful captures! :)
More of these mentoring videos please !!
Great work!

Lucky Daniel and Marisa: She has a great teacher and he has a photogenic model.
Glad you got your own camera, Marisa. It'll give you more chances to practice. Keep woikin' it! :)
Daniel, with this assistant model you will have great success, she is very nice and beautiful.

Perhaps because Marisa has been modeling for years, she´s evolving quicker than a usual beginner.
This was fun! You/ve got great folks to work with Mr. Norton! Excellent enjoyable people and excellent content!
Another great show guys, thank you. Just a quick question, how did you actually place / fix the gel sheets within the soft boxes?
I have the same question too. I have no clue to how to do that
Gold👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Guys check your audio.
Model made up for it so still a thumbs up ! ;-)
Two questions... 1) What camera did Marisa get? 2) Why is the sound so 'muddy'? Is it the microphone used or it's settings?
marisa's "pretend like" instructions are always so entertaining lol
I missed it (I think) what camera did Marisa get????
There's something up with the audio on this one. It sounds highly compressed. That said, some great shots there!
Yes, the mic was peaking like crazy - seems the mix was off, but the content was good so I released it anyway.

great video, but audio was a little painful. For these highly informative instructional videos we really want to hear what you're saying :/
