The layout and labeling of all your modules are so clean, I wish other developers would think as much about user interaction as well as sound quallity. Great new module, but I also realize you can never have enough rack space, and I ran all out...
Non-intuitive layouts and labeling? Whoever would do that? *coughmakenoisecough* Doesn't mean the module isn't good, just adds time to the learning curve. Intellijel would rather music happen faster, and I'm all about it.
@@sliceofsparta8985 I am a simple man, if I can not read the labels, I will not hand over the money. I do not need more roadblocks in my life, but still am all about learning and enjoying.
some, people will ask themselves "why get a dual VCA when i can get the quad VCA" and theres nothing wrong with the quadVCA, but sometimes for patching cable ergonomics, having 2 seperate 2-channel vca's spread out over your system, can be better than having one quad vca, because with a quad vca your cables all need to coalesce on that one module. Just something for people to think about, don't sleep on the usefulness of a dual VCA, and how you can spread multiple of them around your rack, you can have clusters of pairs, it might keep cable organization cleaner.
i like to have at least one vca and multiple or passive mixer near every voice/tone-producing module. Usually i have two tone modules, and put a vca, multiple, and mixer in-between and around them.
Looks really flexible. Could you chain two or more Amps together and use them with Steppy to cycle through Plonk's presets through the mod destination?
I wish MI veils had CV and input normals not just outputs and could normal behind the panel to a second copy like this. when I inevitably need more VCA's amps looks perfect
Very nicely thought out module. Lack of normalization of CV inputs on my MI Veils drives crazy, so this is great for stereo sources. The new VCA standard? Yeah probably. Not sure what that little switch in the middle does though?
So , are we going to talk about the fact that this is the second video in less than two weeks that a 1u BLACK panel with wonderfully grey lettering is shown , but no one seem to have noticed? Because my extensive collection of Intellijel modules would love that.

Thanks for noticing and appreciating these details :) And yes the HP struggles can be real for sure.

wow! what a versatile dual vca
Love Intelligel. I just got done playing w my Shapeshifter, my favorite module.
Nice design.

The only good advise for those people is "get both".

Just grabbed one last week :)
Swapped out my quad VCA for two Amps. I really like to use it for panning effects and the polarity switch makes it very easy.
so lovely!
Looks very useful.

Is there a difference in amps vcas and quad vca? Does one sound cleaner for instance, etc…? Differences please i am very interested in this

Just watched it again and it’s a phase inverter , ignore me
I‘d love to see a nice LPG from Intellijel, they have aready covered a lot of Buchla stuff with the Rubicon and the Quadrax…….
It would have to be non-vactrol based if we did. Real vactrols have cadmium in them which is banned in the EU.
I just ordered 3 amps, I'll be replacing my Tallins with these
I will buy your tallins.. it's the best vca there is..
nice!

Sorry that was an unintentional red herring by Matt. We sometimes make proto panels out of pcbs and that was all this was.
If there was one brand for me to have a complete system of. I reckon I’d choose intellijel
That's a very British-sounding Canadian robot
Putting the "British" in "British Columbian" ;)
