- If you were a boy growing up in the seventies, most likely you were an Evel Knievel fan. The greatest daredevil of all time. His death defying motorcycle jumps were legendary and his toys were no different.
Released in 1973, Evel Knievel “King of the Stuntman” toy rapidly became Ideal’s best seller. Wearing his famous red white and blue uniform, this figure, like Evel himself, dared us to break it.

The Collector Guys are just a couple of guys celebrating collectibles and the people who collect them. We firmly believe that you should proudly surround yourself with the things that make you happy.
They must have made a zillion dollars back in the day! Everyone had one.
Being Evel Knievel fans growing up it was really fun to go back and explore these toys from our youth. We hope you enjoy this this video as much as we enjoyed bringing it to you.
True story, back in the 70s my dad looked similar to Evil and I would pretend my figure was a voodoo doll when he made me mad my mom thought it was hysterical.
I feel like I’m watching a vintage episode of motor trend magazine 😅
Use to put other figures on it as a kid...star trek..the bionic man... dc superheroes.. micronauts...even tried stretch armstrong..lol
Thanks and subbed.
