We love bassist Anthony Jackson!
Two of the greatest guitar players to ever walk this earth. Thank you both for sharing your gifts with us. Bravo M.Kaiser
the one and only lukather
Great piece. I can't believe it hasn't been more viral. I enjoyed it immensely.
....wow :|. Always nice to see two extremely talented guitarists work along side each other.
"I love fusion, and I hear it's making a comeback!"
Luke has a funny story where he arrived late for a session, and he was supposed to play this really advanced part with really hard notation, and Lee switched parts with him so he wouldnt be embarrassed. lol Love them both!
He also told David Gilmore to call Rit for a session on The Wall cause Gilmore couldn’t play what he heard in his, Luke said it was some technical Baroque shit lol
Lukather rules!
anthony jackson tares it up on bass
luke is the best!
No dislikes ever!
wooo me llega hasta los huesos
Awesomus Maximus!
Wow!
I heard that story too but it involved two different session players: Larry Carlton and Larry Coryell. Carlton recounted it for an interview for Guitar player magazine, he and Coryell sat side by side and just before the session was about to start and with Coryell looking the other way, he quickly switched over their charts. Coryell just played what was on the chart without noticing that it wasn't his part. That's a professional right there.
obrigado, e parabéns pelo excelente gosto
he really, really does.
@cjetelomar2010 I've noticed the same variations as you did... To me, Luke sounded better when he played with Valley arts guitars. I remember Toto's live show in 1990 in Paris, it was just awesome :D
Yeah. Please. Leave. This. One. To. Mr.. Jeff. Beck..
where is the subletly of the jeff beck version ?
conheço co Jeff Beck, a musica é linda nas duas versões, gostaria de saber de quem é a musica?
Stevie wonder
lukather was a litlle bit out control.jackson is flawles, lee was standard good
Luke just being Luke, love it or hate it
Steve won
@cjetelomar2010 Absolutely, but his current guitar playing is interesting too but it seems more controlled and studied but less rock n' roll.
Lukather absolulely killed Ritenour.
It's more Luke's thing.
He is the master of advanced rock, but he can't play jazz to save his life.
two buds sharing the love.
you should cut your ears off and give them to someone who might appreciate them.
It's not a race.... they are two bigs, they are not comparable
The bassplayer and drummer killed every other musician on this track.
@flowerdrop1 So you don't like his style...that's about it. An arbitrary statement at most.
@flowerdrop1 See you use words such as "tasteful". Unfortunately for you, there is no form of measurement that can declare a guitarist as "tasteful" or not. That is left up for the listener to decide, STRICTLY as a matter of opinion. I may prefer the sound of many other guitarists over clapton or even beck, but i will not go on criticizing either of them, you certainly don't have a right to either.
