🇵🇭Mga kabayan 👍🏽 Proudly Pinoy, glad Spartan race is becoming popular in Philippines too. Will be having my 2nd Sprint of this year in Big Bear CA, now with a TEAM, all Pinoy. Wish us good luck👍🏽
About 100 lbs. It's best to rock the ball back and forth a little so you can get your fingers underneath the ball, and even if you can, lock your fingers together. You might smash your fingers under the ball, but it sure makes it a lot easier to pick up when your hands are underneath the ball.
The S-hook is so slow and way too messy. The J hook is incomplete, you should scoop the rope over and step on it. Much more secure. Look at any survivalrun from the Netherlands if you wanna learn how to climb ropes properly.
My brain cells died when you didn't even show a cathang with a fake overgrip climb up and you don't even need much strength for it at all because these walls have an overgrip. Also, those burpees are non existent. I get it if you can't do a climb up on a real wall because you haven't learned it yet, but then start learning from the Ultimate Climb up Tutorial (The FASTEST way to Climb Up a Wall) that shows all of the progressions and the only 2 main things to keep in mind that I can think of rn & aren't in the video (or sre and I'm just emphasizing it) are reviewing the lvl4 Positioning, footing, and starting grip because it might help, clamp your thumbs, and then there's flicking up right away/demon dipping from nipples over/pose like ze prince, but that last one much further down the line anyways. However, if you can't even do a forearm climb up on a regular wall, then you really need to work on that. Also, the cathang on a real wall is still used on an overgrip wall.
Great top tip on rope climb. Why did I not think of walking up the 6" wall 😑 would save so much more energy than muscling up.
Helpful tips💪 maraming salamat po at magagamit ko to for my first time joining spartan race here in Taiwan 🙂 aroo aroo 💪🔥🔥
