I was in the intermediate choir as a young teen in the late 80s/early 90s and it was a life-changing, enriching experience. So proud to hear and feel a connection to today's beautiful voices
Bravo!! My daughters were a part of this choir. I didn't think it could come back after the director change. there were iffy years, but THIS is absolutely beautiful.
Truly a beautiful performance and song. Thank you for making me smile today, ladies. Technology again helps shine light during a very dark time in the world. I can only imagine if you sound this good apart, what you must sound like all together. Thank God for the gift of music to help all of us through difficult times.
I remember singing this song in HS choir. It's stuck with me. I still sing every once in a while. It just pops up in my head, as with other songs from choir. There's just something special about having "the best seat in the house" with feelings of togetherness. From singing in harmony, and from weaving varying vocal parts together as though turning sound waves and songs into liquid fabric. You all (all choir levels) have something amazing going on. Thank you for this.
Hi ladies, my church is wanting to worship together in song. Are you using Zoom or... ? Thank you so much for posting this, I've already shared it with church, such beautiful voices!
I see they are all wearing headphones. Wondering if they all sang individually with a pre-recorded track? Maybe the director of this group can chime in?
Member here. Thank you! We recorded ourselves individually and were edited together by our director, Jacob Winkler. Video calls have too much lag time.
@@eleonoreellero3245 Yes, that's right: I sent them a video with me conducting and a piano/click track. They recorded individually and sent me the individual videos, then I assembled in various audio and video editors.
@@SeattleGirlsChoir This is awesome, would love to implement the technique for our church choir/ worship team... would you mind elaborating please on the process, equipment (phones, I assume) and specific audio/video editors? thanks so much!
I am in Seattle girls choir actually, and I am so excited to be able to perform this one day
Wow!!! So beautiful and moving.

@@thomasperloff532 There's too much lag. This is not done synchronistically
