I know this isn’t a feeding question - my corn snake has a halogen bulb (not that it matters but it’s a warm toned one) but doesn’t come out during the day much. However, he is always on his hammock or branch at night under it. I’m conflicted on turning it off at night because I want him to get the benefits of the halogen but don’t want to disrupt his day/night cycle. I also have a backup heat mat under his warm hide that he likes during the day and to help with his humid hide for shedding. I have a UV light during the day and I’ve used a ceramic heat projector in the past but was afraid he wasn’t getting enough benefits from the uv,dhp, and heat map combo. Anyone have any thoughts?

How do you have the rats looking dry please?
Oh! I feel bad I forgot that part! I keep them in the plastic bags so they stay dry 😊
@@newlightpets thank you 😊
