- Arrow and Daredevil are two of the most popular shows in the world and both of these heroes are incredibly capable and formidable fighters. So who would win in a fight between the two? Well thats what we're here to figure out!

acting is good and writing on Arrow is fine(although season 4 was a bit meh).
yes,other shows in the Arrowverse have some issues in writing,but Arrow is not one of them.
Arrow has the best character development(of the protagonist) and the flashbacks are really on point.
you have to watch it without a goal to nitpick to enjoy it.Sure,some things could be better,but at such a low budget,it is really impressive what they put on.
CW just has a bad reputation.
You couldn't be more biased if you say that the acting is "horrible" and writing is "atrocious" in Arrow.
Not to mention,the success of Arrow is what started reviving superhero shows.

He does that in order to have good fights. Otherwise he would just be standing in a corner and hitting people with his arrows. But almost every time he needs to fight people in order to fulfill his mission
I may be the only one who thinks that, but I think Matt is also extremely adaptable. Cases in point: his fights against Punisher and Nobu.
Nobu: The first time he fights him, he gets properly curb stomped and only wins because of sheer luck. Second time, he also gets stomped. However, the next time, he seems to have understood how Nobu fights and trounce him (in the second season's penultimate episode) in a fight that would have killed Nobu if he wasn't nigh immortal. And in the finale, Nobu is clearly out of his league, especially when Matt goes berserk.
Punisher: Beats Matt during their first fight. Also beats him in their second fight as a result of the head trauma Matt sustained in their first fight. I don't remember how many fights they have after this one, but the one I remember (on the ship IIRC), Matt completely outclasses Punisher.
The same thing could be applied to Fisk: during their first fight, Fisk annihilates Matt. In the first season finale, Matt overrides every attack Fisk makes.
My guess is, Matt's true power, his radar sense notwithstanding, is his incredible ability to read an opponent's style and subconsciously adapt to it. Meaning that, if Arrow and Daredevil fight, the longer the fight, the better the chances at Matt's winning.
Neldolas nobu is hundreds of years old so the fact that daredevil learned to best him is impressive. punisher has always been outclassed by daredevil in the comics but he fights dirty. Fisk beat daredevil in their first fight because nobu had already weakened daredevil minutes before. kingpin has low level super strength and knows a few forms of martial arts so he is dangerous but nowhere near daredevils level of hand to hand training. I like how marvel doesn't feel the need for a hero to constantly beat people who out classes them while dc is like who should arrow beat today.

Mark Hendley Ras Al Gil is also hundreds of years old, outclasses Nobu and stick and Oliver defeated him. He also overcame obstacles like Daredevil so he too knows how to adapt as he himself is obviously a trained fighter. Apart from Ras, look at his fights with Deathstroke (also someone who outclasses everyone daredevils fought on the show), Prometheus, Malcolm Merlyn etc
I have to say Arrow is not really fair to fight against as. Because Daredevil get's tired (LIKE A NORMAL PERSON) not like Arrow. Oliver can fight and fight and fight. He doesn't need any breaks. By the way, how the fuck would Arrow kill Ras? I know he did in the Show but even Batman had problems against Ras but did it. Arrow wouldn't have killed Ras. Never. Now salty Arrow fans salt my french fries please :)

I've watched both shows so I may want to break it down.
Oliver has trained for 5 years and ongoing, he is incredibly skilled in combat, hand-to-hand, archery, swordsmanship. He does have a durable attire in Season 5, kevlar and the works. He's got multiple trick arrows and even one he got on the spot, the boxing glove arrow. He's quite agile since he can get from roof to roof, and can do kick flips and such. He's faced many foes and defeated them. The general from the island, Merlyn, trained by the League of Assassins, pirates, Slade, who is enhanced entirely by Mirakuru and is military trained, Ra's Al Ghul who is the former leader of the League of Assassins, another magic user from the island, Damien Darhk who uses magic and trained by the League, Vigilante who used guns, fought against Bratva, fought against aliens and for now the last, Prometheus, who is trained by the League AND knows Oliver inside out. He even went toe to toe against the Flash, who is capable of running through water and creating lightning to throw at. Oliver also has great durability since he survived an arrow time the chest, an impale and fell from a cliff and even went through the torture states of Prometheus.
Matt on the other hand has trained since he was a kid and still ongoing. He is also skilled in hand-to-hand, especially boxing which he got from his father, stick-fighting, and just plain combat. He has durable armor since season 2 since it can protect from bullets, blades and his helmet is even made of composite fibre in which Melvin implies: damn near indestructible. His weapon is a billy club, which can be into multiple forms, a stick, a club itself and can be even used as grappling hooks. He is very agile since he does flips, somersaults, parkour with ease, can climb onto roofs and can land on the ground from the roof of a tall building. But his radar sense outstands the most, he uses it to detect heartbeats, weapons or breathing of his foes. He can smell someone's odor from 4 floors above him, count and tell how deep something is. He's faced a handful of foes, a trained mugger, according to Fisk was one of the best, he fought russians with guns, weapons and numbers, he defeated Nobu who was a ninja and could mask his heartbeat, making it hard for Daredevil to detect him, He fought his own mentor Stick who was blind too and Matt won, he defeated Wilson Fisk who is strong enough to smash people's brains, flip heavy tables with ease and survive against bullets, he survived against the Punisher, who could massacre an entire gang with ease, Irish gunmen, Nobu again, he fought against the fingers of the Hand, Murakimi the one who employed Nobu, Bakuto who fought the Iron Fist, and speaking of the Iron Fist, Daredevil has beaten Danny in a fist fight. But most of all, he fought against his ex-girlfriend; Elektra who was resurrected by the hand and is very strong thanks to the training of the Hand. He is also durable, and maybe more durable than Oliver. He fought armed russians while he got puncture wounds, broken ribs, major blood loss and bleeding, all to save a small kid. He survived a blast from a bomb and fell from 3 stories and landed on concrete AND lived. He managed to get himself scarred, dragged, slit by Nobu and lived. He survived a bullet to the head by the Punisher, fought against the Punisher with a concussion, and the bikers from Dogs of Hell with a concussion, a gun taped to his hand and a chain on his left. But most of all, he survived from a building FALLING on top of him.
I don't know who would win so you guys judge from the stats.

SIR EVUNS; I love them both too but I think ARROW WINS. All that experience against so many varied opponents will have him get it done. With his Darts,Bow,knives AND arrows.plus his Fighting skill Ollie IS A BETTER BULLSEYE..Thanks for the detailed analysis. 👍👍👍
Well...I think Matt will win.He is a very skilled,much more skilled than Arrow altough both use mostly the same martial arts.But you’re right,Matt was trained since childhood to become a warrior of the Chaste and he continued to train himself.Plus,he is able to detect the next move of his opponent which make him better than the Arrow.

Couldn't "see" Nabu's moves(had to outfight him) and DEFINITELY couldn't see the angular attacks of Bullseye(a lot like Arrows' attacks)AND Bullseye isn't even"Assassin trained".Would be a bad ass fight though but that EXPERIENCE WITH META human foes(Flash,DEATHSTROKE, Grundy) AND skilled combatants (Dark Archer,Al Ghul,Prometheus)???Love him,But my man MATT ain't got no where NEAR that kinda pedigree.Better Show though😁
Season 1 of Daredevil is the best season of any television show I've ever seen. I love DD so much that I even learnt how to play it's theme song on piano :D

Actually Daredevil has been trained since he was a kid, which means that he has way more experience than Oliver Queen, and he would dodge trick arrows, because none of his trick arrows can do any damage at that magnitude because of his morality, even if created an explosion the shockwave wouldn't knock Matt senses, and that's shown in episode 5 and 6 of first season
AD SNavarro Oliver still wins since he has fought on more superhumans/metahumans, and he's much more smarter, but Daredevil hasn't. Well maybe a few in the second season. Arrow has more tricks up his sleeves, not only explosive arrow but electric ones and other more that could even explode his hand or head off. Plus he has fought and won against Deathstroke who has a healing factor, who's always 10 steps ahead of you, and way Way WAY smarter than anyone. Finally, Daredevil comics could be able to beat him, but we are looking at his current state in the TV show.

if we're talking the tv show versions then arrow wins easily do the the fact that while daredevil has been trained longer arrow still has more experience fighting then he does not to mention he's been trained by some of the most deadliest fighters period which makes him the better fighter easily. his ability to fight at both a distance and at close counters is another point in his corner. Another thing is that Oliver is in fact smarter being able to match wits with people like slade. Also while Matt was being trained to defend himself Oliver was being trained to kill without mercy and that mind set would make him even more dangerous

Daredevil wins this, his radar sense combined with his agility & toughness will get him the win... and he's just as skilled and can hang with Arrow... it will be a long, tough bloody fight but DD gets some blind justice.

Matt got his ass kicked by Pointdexter and by a random ninja guy who even have cut off his entire body, Matt barely defeated Kingpin,Oliver faced and took down Ra's Al Ghul,Slade Wilson,metahumans,he saved the Multiverse,besides he is a one man army and 100 times a better fighter than Matt, also with every kind of melee weapons.

i say arrow wins if it's present season arrow. Current arrow is so vastly superior to his season one counterpart, but daredevil takes season 1 arrow easily.
Which is why it is not really fair to compare them right now. Arrow is 5 seasons in where as Daredevil is only 2 seasons in. When Daredevil gets to season 5 that version of Daredevil will be more skilled and powerful than current Daredevil. You have to compare season 5 Daredevil (which we have not seen yet) to season 5 Arrow for a fair fight.
Paul Davis logically yes, but we don't know yet if he is gonna get that much better. I'd put season 2 daredevil in range of beginning season 3 Oliver queen.

We're talking about TV series not comics because there were crossovers in the comics but right now it's the TV series. And I'm pretty sure that there wouldn't be a crossover with Marvel and DC series.

I am a fan of Daredevil and would like Daredevil to win, but Arrow has alot of advantage (one being that he is willing to cross the "no killing" boundaries despite him being on a TV-14 show on the CW and Daredevil being on a TV-MA show on Netflix).
arrow is by far better than daredevil. arrow was trained by some of the best fighters of dc such as deathstroke, Talia al ghul, and ra's al ghul. plus he has taken on meta humans, magic and aliens which are enemies that are way out of his league and he is able to beat them not just due to his fighting skills but also because he is a master tactician. plus his weapon of choice bow and arrow is much more versatile than darevils escrima stick. arrows weapon can be used in short and long distance and he has a lot of trick arrows such as parachute arrows, smoke arrows, flash bang arrows, explosive arrows, grapnel gun style arrows to go up and down places, and arrows to trap adversaries. plus his bow has those explosive things to escape. and he is extremely rich which give him resources as Oliver queen

Joseph Rosas arrow can fuck up daredevils senses easy. And flash bangs wouldn't do anything. He'd use smoke, arrows, and explosives to fuck up his hearing and smell.

Daredevil relies more on just his hearing. Loud noises and flashbangs will deter him sure but they will not wipe his senses out. Think about a dog's sense. Yes loud noise will drive them crazy but won't put them in a seizure. Sounds help him. Lack of sounds/movement would be a bigger disadvantage. The more sound frequency there is the better it is for DD to "see" his environment. He can feel subtle movements in the air just by people moving around. He can also detect a person's body heat. He also has an enhanced sense of smell that makes wolverines' look like a complete joke. I don't think that loud noises or flashbangs are gonna drive him crazy, it would have to be intense and purposefully weaponized for him. Read a comic some time, asshole.

"Arrow beat the Flash" Fam I've been an Arrow fan since the beginning and love the show but come on. That Flash fight was so much bs also Barry didn't know squat about fighting then and he was under the influence of something that made him twice as stupid as he usually is. Oliver has a chance of taking Daredevil out by the Arsenal but Daredevil Owns him in terms of fighting. Oliver has taken down many league members but have any of them been shown to be able to control their body to the degree members of the Hand could? Also whilst select few of the League came out of the Pit Most of certain factions of the Hand Daredevil has taken down were basically superhuman immortals. Not fully juiced up like Jessica Jones or whatever but considerable. Also compare the fight scenes of Daredevil as opposed to GA you can clearly see who has the most hands on long lasting fights.

I disagree, I watched all the seasons aswell and your saying Oliver Queen the man that is so called a copy of Batman and uses Batman's tactics cannot win again a newer hero with no experience. Green Arrow is a very tactical hero and has the long range advantage easily. With the right plan Oliver Queen takes the cake.

@lil nug did you see arrow finale, I don't think so because there was a flashback scene to season 1 were he took down 40 something people like nothing. In the process he got jumped and got punched then got up like it was nothing and continued fighting. Arrow is way a head and better than Daredevil league.

When the Punisher shot Daredevil, Punisher was aiming to only incapacitate him. If anything, that says more about Punisher's aiming skills and tactical awareness than Daredevil's armor holding up. With that in mind, Arrow would aim to kill, so I would say with one of the mini-arrows he carries in his sleeve (the precise name escapes me, but I think arrowlets?) Arrow could end it right there, as he has shown precision enough to severe the nerves in a forearm before the victim can press a fail safe button (The Dodger Episode, when Felicity had the explosive collar around her neck.) The Dodger also had no idea what had just happened. Faster than eyesight would clock in around .0045 seconds. That measure of precision, at that speed, and I strongly doubt Arrow couldn't get a arrowlet in just the right spot of Daredevil's face.

I think you should start Implementing Conditions to these fights. Some time it does depend on Things like Location, Time of day, Prep or No prep, Fighting to Death or KO, What Equipment.. etc. Sometimes or most of time conditions matter. At least I think so. Ugh.. That's ok. You made some fair points. When you said Arrow has fought meta-humans and more giving him the edge in Skill.. I feel that contributes to greater Experience not Greater Skill.
I like that you said Daredevil with more seasons may be able to beat Arrow... We haven't seen a whole great deal of DD compared to Arrow and may need to wait until both Shows are done to get a full scope of them. But Your judgement is fair. At this point I feel it could go either way but I lean towards Daredevil

Actually Daredevil has greater experience. Ollie has around 12 years in 2020. Matt has around 24-27 years of experience. All depending on what was his age when he started his training with Stick. I'd say around 8-11 years old.
Well green arrow was good enough to be the leader of the league of assassins and he was a captain for the bratva aka Russian mafia he also worked for Argus which is like the way better version of the fbi and he beat deathstorke with mirakuru twice Oliver also beat the leader of the league of Assassins he also almost killed Malcom merlyn and beat prometheous because even though he shot himself,he still would have died since Oliver had a arrow pointed directly at him.

I've actually been rewatching Arrow's earlier seasons and, more recently, Daredevil season 2 also. So, I've been thinking about this, myself, and came to the same conclusion
To be honest, whilst I love both shows and characters, I think Oliver would win in a fight. From what I understand; Matt got most, if not all of his training when he was much younger. Stick stopped teaching him when he was a teenager. If we assume that he wasn’t trained by anyone else between the time stick stopped training him and when he started become a vigilante, we can also assume that Matt hadn’t learnt much more since stick stopped training him. The first year that Oliver was on Lian Yu: Oliver was being trained by former ASIS agent Slade Wilson. Oliver had to fight to survive, which would’ve implemented a “fight or flight” sort of thing. In the second year on the island, Oliver learnt more from slade, plus archery. He even ended up beating slade with the mirakuru on the Amazo. In Oliver’s third and fourth years away, he became something of a “spy” for Argus. This would’ve given him additional skills. Oliver also joined the bratva, and picked up many skills from Anatoly. On top of that, he was trained partly by Talia Al Ghul. After the island, Oliver learnt more from people like the league of assassins. He’s held his own with meta humans and people with magic many times. He’s even killed ra’s and Damien darhk. One thing that Matt has over Oliver is his abilities. Matt can sense things much better than Oliver, which would give him the upper hand. However, I do believe that Oliver could “neutralise” Matt’s abilities with the vast number of trick arrows he has. Thus I believe that Oliver would win in a fight against Matt.
Two great shows, two great fighters. Definitely a very hard choice.

That "Mirakuru" stuff in Arrow, it isn't an actual thing in the DC Universe. It's really not explained what kinds of drugs were used to turn Slade Wilson into Deathstroke. And it's actually called "Miraclo," a drug created and used by the superhero Hourman.
Some people may disagree with this win, however Danco did said the shows respective universes. The comics will be no way.

Green Arrow has had many Metahumans in his crosshairs, experience takes all. Green Arrow would win though yes maybe with more experience DD has potential.
I actually agree with your conclusion on this one. Daredevil is a very good fighter, but right now, Green Arrow does have more experience and takes a lot less hits from ordinary thugs and henchmen. Being about to avoid hits is every bit as important as landing them. Daredevil even had trouble with one henchman in episode 5 of season one until the door behind them blew up and killed the henchman. Arrow never has trouble with only one person unless its a metahuman or another specially trained person like him (Deathstroke, Ras Al Ghul, Merlin, Cupid, etc.).
Now granted, Daredevil's fighting ability improved dramatically in the second season once he got more experience and some additional training from Stick. All in all, I'm going to say Green Arrow is currently the better fighter due to him taking less hits from regular foes. Give Daredevil some more experience, however, and I believe the tides would turn.

@DanCo Sorry have to disagree lol. Daredevil has been trained since he was a child boxing from his father. And multiple forms of martial arts from Stick. Oliver was trained when he was a teenager, so I'd say Matt has more experience. I'm also pretty positive even if Green Arrow uses trick arrows. Daredevil will dodge them, I mean the man can dodge bullets at point blank range. I'm sure he's just as fast if not faster than Green Arrow. Not to mention his armoured suit. The fact that his helmet took a point blank shot to the skull. By the Punisher, I highly doubt Green Arrows leather suit would protect him from anything. Which would make Daredevil way more durable and able to tank more blows than Green Arrow.
Daredevil takes it in my opinion, trained at a younger age and has been fighting longer. Better armor, and his super human senses will make it harder for Green Arrow to surprise him. Stacked on to the fact that Matt will already have the advantage of being able to dodge his arrows and most of his strikes.

DanCo you're crazy. Green Arrow wouldn't stand a chance against Daredevil. Oliver has one advantage being his trick arrows but has a ton of disadvantages. For example his dependence on his teammates and not to mention that annoying voice in his ear piece Felicity who tells him what to do. Matt took his disadvantage in life and made it his biggest advantage. He would hear Oliver coming a mile away and would be the one to get the jump on him. Yes Oliver is stronger but Matts equilibrium is borderline superhuman and that's been more than enough to take out multiple opponents even at his weakest. In terms of and skills Oliver has had more of on the spot training and trial by fire. 5 years on and off the island having to learn quick or die and only a few weeks of training from the league of assassins to the point where Ra's al ghul felt he was good enough to move forward. It only really proves that Oliver has a good memory and has taken tactics, teachings and skills learned from real warriors and applied his own judgment on how to use them. Matt was the son of a boxer so in a way he was born to fight. 20 years of training, conditioning and experience coupled with his superhuman senses makes him something Oliver has never faced before. My favorite fight in Arrow was the first fight with Ra's al Ghul where Oliver finally met an opponent who was just plain better in every way. With intelligence Oliver is undeniably smart and tactical but he had to learn these things to survive I could never see him having the patience to attend school and actually graduate whereas Matt graduated summa cum laude in law school showing himself to be highly educated. The difference is Oliver was born into a rich life and choose to squander it whereas Matt was born poor and rose above his station in life by his own bootstraps blind and all. And lastly Oliver is not afraid to kill which some would say his advantage but it takes more inner strength not to give in to killing and Oliver has been shown to stumple on that path a lot whereas Matt has a code and does not waver on it ever. At the end of the day I don't think Oliver could handle the caliber of the man that Matt is.

LMAO Matt struggles with fodder on a consistent basis, what's he going to do against Oliver who is way above fodder. On top of Oliver knowing 20 different fighting styles, took down 19 guys in about 20 secs, and that feat is just s1 pre ras training, he can also snap backs with a flicker of movement (you have to be insanely strong to even do something like that and that was just from the pilot). Oliver is borderline comic levels of skill and strength. Don't let your view of Animated Green Arrow taint your vision.

Batman wins vs Cap in comics and movies. Cap might just have a small edge when it comes to physical strength but that gets evened out by the fact that Batman is a far better fighter. Batman also has a lot more and better tech so Cap really isn't a problem for him.
MCU Cap seems far stronger than comic book Cap. DCEU Batman may be a slightly better fighter but MCU Cap can/will murder/disable him with one punch/kick. In multiple encounters it could go either way but I say Cap takes the majority.

Yeah but Daredevil would hear the arrows and be able to dodge them. His evasivness is insane meaning the only way Green Arrow could beat him is in close combat. Alot harder to dodge something closer to you than an arrow far away

In a fight like this, I would go with Daredevil. Although Ollie does have an apparent strength advantage, it's not enough to overwhelm his durability. DD is more agile and has more experience in combat as a whole, given his training since he was a child when he started. Trick arrows are only useful when they can reach their mark and Daredevil is fully capable of dodging and deflecting as you mentioned in the video. As far as melee weapons are concerned, Matt's weapons give him more advantages for close quarters combat. Being able to take down Metahumans the way Arrow has is very impressive, but has required some preparations for the less grounded ones. The only metas that he has beaten that are noteworthy in terms of power and magnitude were Slade and Barry, but at best; the circumstances for him beating the Flash can easily be attributed to Barry's lack of experience in a formal fight and Ollie being better trained and tactical minded, in addition to having a plan. Not to mention Flash wasn't in his right mind. I agree this would be a long fight, but I don't really see Ollie being able to take Matt without some form of prep.

Daredevil's combat speed is good especially when pairing him to people like Spider man or Karnak. That says alot.

I have watched both if the shows, daredevil is my favorite right now, but what he said in this video is true, although it would be a hard fight for both of them, arrow would win, simply because he has more experience in the whole vigilante fighting thing. Just compare Arrows 5 seasons and more than 4 massive villains with daredevils 2 seasons with 2 massive villains. It’s a easy pick for me.
