I always felt like Matt’s real ability was to take the most brutal of beatings, but always get back up. Much like his dad. Charlie’s Daredevil showcased that much much better than Affleck’s. He doesn’t have superhuman strength, just extremely precise senses, and unbreakable willpower.
Daredevil’s “huffing and puffing” in the hallways scene makes it so much better. This lets the audience know that he is just a normal guy and he is sacrificing a lot to save his city. It really makes him the “Man Without Fear”.
Well to be fair the man was stabbed and brutally beaten. 3 stab wounds and 3 broken ribs if I remember right but I do agree it is a good way to show hes just a human like you or me
Daredevil is a lot faster then daredevil but daredevil still somtimes are stronger. I think daredevil is going to Win even if daredevil has more power himself.
right so I knew there was a reason Matt was puffing in the hallway scene™ and in this video it states that's because he doesn't have the same stamina as the other daredevil and you can fight me on this because if you don't remember Matt was just half killed like three hours ago and could hardly move. Then only a few hours later wins a massive fight against like fifty highly trained men who wanted to kill him. He was just stabbed and cut up and nearly killed, then left for dead in a dumpster, then he was patched up by a nurse who isn't properly trained as a doctor. So actually Matt from marvel netflix has amazing stamina that he still beat all of those man after having being stabbed not hours before.
Nurses still have years of medical training and I’m pretty sure they could patch up wounds like that just as good as doctors and in season 3 Matt ran across 1 and a half roof tops and was breathing pretty hard afterwords while the other ran across 2 roof tops after falling 20 stories Nothing Matt from Netflix could do could even harm the movie version

I'm not saying that 23 story fall wasn't impressive, but I feel like you're not taking certain things into account. He didn't drop onto concrete. He fell onto a floating platform that dragged out the length of the collision when it fell a handful of inches. I'm not really THE person to ask about specifics regarding physics and whatnot, but the impact he endured wasn't as egregious as say a 23 story fall onto cement, or asphalt. Also, I know this shouldn't be treated like a car collision, for example. Cars are given weaker fronts so that the collision is extended so that the force impacting the driver is lessened, but in this case, it is the impact he is already feeling. Still, I'm pretty sure a similar logic applies, that the ultimate force that drives into him is less than what he'd have felt if his landing surface was unmoving. Idk, I doubt anyone will notice this seeing as the comment is late to the party, but if anyone does, please let me know if what I'm saying makes any sense at all.
Jay Kay First off no it wasn’t 23 stories. If you paid attention at all you’d know that 23 stories meant certain death. It was actually 100 stories. You’re saying falling 100 stories is ok as long as you land on something that cousins your fall by at MOST a foot. And even at 23 stories you’re walking away with massive damage before dying 30 minutes later.
lmfao dude he should've went through whatever he landed on, it doesn't matter what broke his fall except for maybe concrete, cement asphalt, etc but even then he would dent it and with that amount of blunt force should've auto died.
@@cyruni1370 He should have broken his legs, but keep in mind the give on the window cleaner platform. It had one side completely disconnected, and those things are already built to have some bending on them. Plus his suit could have some padding in the soles. There also is a small chance that he used the wires to slow himself at 3:25. I would have gone all-in on that as director.
At the end of Season 2, we see the grappling hook in action. It doesn't actually have a grapple he just wrapped the cable around a pole and secured it using the other half of the club. It's when he's going to rescue Karen I do believe. (He doesn't use it to climb upwards, but to swing around a building.)
I love the video and the analizyng but I disagree (even when I love Charlie's DD), you have to admitt that Affleck's is ridiculously strong and faster and he would win the battle.
i mean.. if you can fall 23 stories without getting hurt what so ever you wouldn't be able to lose to someone that's out of breathe like a normal human being after like 1 minute of fighting
Whatsthedill He wasn't mortally wounded dude wtf xD Do you even know what mortally wounded _means?_ Obviously not *When someone is mortally wounded, that means that they are going to die.*
Congrats you're one of my favorite youtubers. Just don't make videos daily I like to wait and then when I get the notification I get all excited and click on the video. And take your time with whatever man. Keep up the good work
What's so great about the hallway fights during the 3 seasons of Netflix Daredevil is that Matt is literally fighting 30 or more people with a handicap and still winning in the end.
You're forgetting that in that hallway scene, Matt was basically a stitched up bag of flesh beforehand. Granted he was in good care, but still. He was able to beat up an entire hallway of guys in one go, while wearing basically pajamas and having multiple bullets holes and knife wounds already.
I also want to point out for realism Daredevil Netflix series would win. The Affleck Daredevil was all Hollywood superhero movie magic so in a realistic setting Cox's Daredevil would win.
Daredevil vs Daredevil? hmm, Daredevil would win in a fight against Daredevil. but then again, Daredevils senses are better than Daredevils... buuuut. Daredevil has beaten the Kingpin. but then again, Daredevil has beaten the Kingpin also. hmm, tough choice but I think Daredevil would beat Daredevil in a fight
Awesome video! Great analysis and observations. Just wanted to say that I think the new Daredevil does use the billy clubs as grappling hooks in his first scene with the new suit, when he is chasing down Kingpin at the end of Season 1. Very minor detail but again, great video!
Reeves would wreck him. Way too fast. What has Man of steel superman done? Reeves superman could do anything and is far smarter. Cavil is just "Cooler"
As much as I love and prefer Cavill's Superman, Reeve's Superman is too op and probably would beat him I mean he can fly around the Earth to travel in time lol.
At 0:53 you stated that neither daredevil's showed any stand out strength but in the last episode of daredevil daredevil lifted Wilson Fisk over his head with ease. You also include this clip at the end of the video. It might not be such a big deal but Wilson Fisk weighs a lot. Another thing you said is that daredevil's ( tv show) helmet is " damn near indestructible" but Melvin potter didn't say that about his helmet he said it about his baton.
We need to talk more about the billy clubs: Charlie Cox - 2 sticks with a cable for 5 mins Ben Affleck - 2 sticks, cable, grappling hook, nun-chuck, bo staff.
I do feel that Affleck's devil freefall scene could have been just as awesome and more believable, if they had had several planforms for him to use and employ the billy club as a zipline of sorts around the platform cables that have to come from the roof to begin with.
I appreciate the effort, but Affleck still wins. He took down much tougher opponents in Bullseye and MCD Kingpin, who was superhumanly strong well past D'onofrio's. Also he's far faster and more agile in a fight. He'd basically just beat Netflix DD to death.
Something you should of had in mind was that the 2003 daredevil movie only has around 1-2 hours of run time almost two episodes of the show so the skill is only measured by that time I think that if he had more time he could show more skill
I love Charlie Cox’s adaptation but Afflecks Dare Devil is fantastic too. There’s something about 2000’s adaptations of super heroes that really connect with the fan watching. Charlie had a more supernatural dependency with his senses, where Afflecks Dare Devil was more traditional and just solely based on hearing. Pretty cool to me.
You know, these sorts of videos ARE kinda pointless. Not for the reasons given at the beginning of the video, but because it is silly to break down the match up in terms of wins and losses through categories. This type of comparison has to make some wild assumptions such as fighting style being just as important as crazy physical endurance, or having some slight body armor being just as important as insane crazy agility. In reality (if they were real) the Ben Affleck's version being able to easily survive the 230+foot drop should put his durability on a scale where the Netflix version would have a difficult time even hurting him. And the Afflecks crazy speed and agility should make it difficult for the Netflix version to even catch him. And while the Netflix version may have shown more incredible senses of smell and taste, how is that going to help him in a straight up fight? And who is to say the Affleck version doesn't have that? it just didn't really fit the story to show it off as much. It was just one 2 hour movie versus 2 seasons of an hour long show, they had more time to put stuff in. The Affleck version has a much sharper "radar" than the Netflix version, which can only help him in a fight. I don't think the body armor of the Netflix version would be all that useful either. Body armor, especially soft body armor, is not great at protecting from blunt force trauma, which is the only kind of trauma either version of Daredevil dishes out. And while the mask itself is a hard armor, it is too form fitting, with no padding under it. It might stop bullets and things from penetrating, but it directly transfers ALL of the impact forces to the brain. Also, in a fight, it is generally not a good idea to punch the top of the head anyway. You aim for the jaw or the nose, which is mostly unprotected. And lastly, fighting styles.. You didn't really give a good explanation why you chose the way you did. You just said "here is what they do" and awarded a victory. In the actual fight scenes in the movie and shows, Affleck's Daredevil doesn't get hit. He constantly dodges not only punches and kicks, but bullets as well. Sure, shouldn't be possible, but he does it. He also dodged the several dozen "stained glass shiruken" thrown by Bullseye, the guy who never misses and can throw a paper clip hard enough to kill you. Meanwhile, the Netflix Daredevil is constantly getting hit, a lot, got shot by a gun that was right in front of him, and is almost always injured to the point of near incapacitation. I gotta give the fighting style win to Affleck as well. While the NEtflix version might be more "realistic" and even more entertaining, the Affleck version is more effective. I just don't see a way that the Netflix version could win this fight. The Netflix version is just a normal guy who can hear and smell really well. The Affleck version appears to have actual super powers other than his echo location.
I just re-watched it with some scenes added in director's cut. I don't see any difference since the first time i watched it, it's still one of my favorite childhood superhero movies along with sam raimi spider-man.
The Punisher would demolish Shane, Shane is a badass fighter but he can't take down 6 armed men single handedly while being unarmed himself. Not to mention he struggled against Rick when they fought in Season 2 and Rick wouldn't last 2 seconds against Frank.
I’m here from the future! I have good news, daredevil ( Charlie cox ) is now on the MCU and Matt Murdock “ I’m a Good Lawyer “ cameo on Spider-Man no way home 😭✨✨✨
Manny Alcantara I've been skydiving...twice. You jump, fall for a few seconds, pull your mini chute to help stabilize and slow down a little and then you pull your main chute.

@@lime8823 it was 23 stories. 6 stories is certain death.
Affleck's DD would win...
Because he is batman!
Kris Bendix yeah and arrow season 4 was the best season of the 5 present today
Kris Bendix Easily. Cox's version can't fight worth a damn.
Even if it is sarcasm, never say season 4 was good. Everytime you say season 4 was good, a puppy dies.
Art Dog nigga did u watch the show?
Arion the Meem season 4 is good
Actually 3 incarnations.....but The Trial Of The Incredible Hulk doesn't count. He was horrible.
Yea...we don't talk about thst one lol
Comedian Marvin Howard He was awesome at the time and better than Affleck.
At the end of Season 2, we see the grappling hook in action. It doesn't actually have a grapple he just wrapped the cable around a pole and secured it using the other half of the club. It's when he's going to rescue Karen I do believe. (He doesn't use it to climb upwards, but to swing around a building.)
Movie daredevil was better in agility and endurance because the tv show was way better in a realistic way
Pretty much in every way tho
Charlie Cox is a FANTASTIC Daredevil!!
Omg this guy deserves more appreciation, srsly..
03 Hulk vs 08 Hulk
Oh yeah that's a good one!
YEEEEEESSSSS
08 would definitely win
they are the same
Well, both get stronger the angrier they get. I doubt there'd be a conclusion.
4:22 he did, in the final episode of season 2
18:04 into the last episode of DD season 2 he uses his grapple hook, the one and only time to swing from it.
Kuivia he wasn't tired from fighting. He was stabbed and mortally wounded before that fight
CallofDutyGaming365 23 stories.
Whatsthedill He wasn't mortally wounded dude wtf xD Do you even know what mortally wounded _means?_ Obviously not
*When someone is mortally wounded, that means that they are going to die.*
He would've died if not for Claire. Nice try mate.
But that makes him a superhuman, where as Daredevil is a human. The DD series is a better and right version of Matt Murdock
I love new Daredevil.
U copied another comment
its funny bc we dont what dare devil u talking about
Old comments
Bro you fr came back to put time stamps in your video. Legend.
So, Daredevil vs Batman...Will win Daredevil? I prefer Daredevil :V
El putaso Todorraso both are amazing
Definitely not
@@mac6320 r/ whooooosh
@@noah.45 that’s not how it works buddy
@@mac6320 u understand that the comment was a joke right?
Awesome video! Great analysis and observations. Just wanted to say that I think the new Daredevil does use the billy clubs as grappling hooks in his first scene with the new suit, when he is chasing down Kingpin at the end of Season 1. Very minor detail but again, great video!
he didn't have the billy club until season 2
Christopher Reves Superman vs Henry Cavils Superman, It would be an Awesome video
Dude, Christopher is OP af, he would pummel Henry Cavill.
+Tcuytfhtchtthf Jjjhh still...it would be cool to see them go hand in hand
+Tcuytfhtchtthf Jjjhh Reeves Superman is also highly inconsistent.
Cavill > Reeves
do Christopher reeve superman v henry cavil superman
This!
Cavil easily
Reeves would wreck him. Way too fast. What has Man of steel superman done? Reeves superman could do anything and is far smarter. Cavil is just "Cooler"
Are you joking? Cavil may be more bad ass but Reeve's Superman would ANNIHILATE The MOS Supes
Another thing you said is that daredevil's ( tv show) helmet is " damn near indestructible" but Melvin potter didn't say that about his helmet he said it about his baton.
your editing style is very good plus the rounds show no partiality. love you bro, keep up the good work.

Absolutely no one:
Comment section: I tHiNk DaReDeViL wOuLd WiN!!!
eric bana hulk vs mark ruffalo hulk?
h3ll yes
eric bannas better in my opinion
Edward Norton wins. Banner should be small and wimpy looking. Bana was too big.
Obi-Wan Cannoli The question is which version was the strongest hulk, not the best.
already did
David Ozuna well Ruffalo took down the giant Chitauri ship and defeated Fenris, the giant wolf
2:19 da flip was dat
We need to talk more about the billy clubs:
Charlie Cox - 2 sticks with a cable for 5 mins
Ben Affleck - 2 sticks, cable, grappling hook, nun-chuck, bo staff.
damn. but charlie's is still better tho.
I do feel that Affleck's devil freefall scene could have been just as awesome and more believable, if they had had several planforms for him to use and employ the billy club as a zipline of sorts around the platform cables that have to come from the roof to begin with.
When it comes to powers the movie version is probably more accurate as Daredevil is supposed to have superhuman stamina, agility, endurance etc.
I love your vids!!! Do you think you could do Christopher Reeve VS Henry Cavill?
nah Christopher Reeve is to OP
If Reeve was getting fucked by Cavill he'd just turn back time
Martha Wayne vs Martha Kent
Reeves vs Cavill = Spite of the Century
Reeves is Super OP
+Jack Rogers That is not the point I was making at all.
Kur Norock Good points

Agree
i dont c why so many people hated on tbe 2003 daredevil movie i grew up watching it i thought it was a badass movie
Marvel's daredevil is a little better fam. Watch it, Enjoy.
I liked the movie too, but I was like 10 when i first watched it. A month ago, I watched it again and besides its cringiness, it made no sense.
It was a bad daredevil interpretation
I just re-watched it with some scenes added in director's cut. I don't see any difference since the first time i watched it, it's still one of my favorite childhood superhero movies along with sam raimi spider-man.
Mystique(Jennifer Lawrence) vs Mystique(Rebecca Romijn
they are basically the same person. it's like saying McAvoy's Xavier vs Stuart's Xavier.
but rebecca romijn mystique was more skilled and have better fight coreographies
rebecca
Does it count if the other is just a past version of the other?
Now this is a fight i'd love to see.
I LOVE YOUR CHANNEL!!! KEEP MAKING THESE AMAZING VIDOES DUDE I WILL WATCH FOREVER
In the hallway scene dd (cox) had a collapsed lung and many other injuries, felt like that was worth mentioning
Ben Affleck had more strength fyi
Ghost rider v ghost rider? (Johnny Blaze v Robbie Reyes)
Shane from the walking dead vs the punisher! I mean the punisher would win... but do it!!!
Daredevil from the Netflix series did use it as a grappling hook once
The Flash (1990) vs The Flash (2014)
he can catch knives tho
the flash caught a bullet when he got "shot" from Captain Colds' dad during the robbery
Why don't my legs break when I go skydiving then?
Manny Alcantara cause you have a parachute...
Dan Lane you don't take it out right away
Manny Alcantara Holy shit I really hope you're trolling
Paul's Mess Hall it would be boring if as soon as you jump out the plane, you pull the parachute you wait like a good min - 2 min
Manny Alcantara I've been skydiving...twice. You jump, fall for a few seconds, pull your mini chute to help stabilize and slow down a little and then you pull your main chute.
spoiler: the blind guy with the red suit wins
I love these types of analytical videos!
You keep mentioning the Netflix's daredevil as the Mcu.. But it's understandable,we all wish Daredevil will appear in the Movies
is this even a question?
Netflix of course!
Glad MCU daredevil wins cuz he is the best superhero ever put to screen.
Fight me.
I won't fight you. I will join you in agreement. FIGHT US.
K_Man glad we can agree
who would win
Batfleck or Arkham Knight batman
Arkham Knight Batman stomps.
Arkham Knight Batman. The player would just have to soam the counter button.
Arkham knight, we don't know enough about Affleck's Batman yet to give him a fair match
Arkham game Batman is the second most overpowered Batman, first being comic Batman.
good one
Do you know what is great about the hallway fight scene in S3 of Daredevil (Netflix )?
It's a one-shot with no cut for straight 10-12 minutes
6:22 is gold.
I would say, daredevil
