Man those old Loadstars are loyal. They were designed and built to last. With just a little work you have that old girl running like a top. You just can't beat a hand choke for winter time cold starts either. I can't believe just how smooth the truck sounded as it was driving past the stationary camera. You can get a lot of good service out of her in the years to come.

That’s where I learned about the loadstar. Here in corn country there aren’t too many old IH medium duty trucks but a ton of old GM C60s, 65s, and GMC Brigadeers. One of my best friends growing up taught me how a manual transmission works in a C60.

Love the ol Loadstar 1700 we’ve got, it’s a 4x4 with a great big front drive, boom truck service body on the back for setting power poles. Big hydraulic crane with an auger and extendable boom with a big line. Sucker will pick up anything! Most handy tool we’ve got on the ranch.

Just shows you’re a good mechanic brother, she’s dialed in perfect is what I see Austin! All that snow and it’s in the upper 70’s here in Louisana brother! I’m waiting for a little cold weather, but if it’s not a freak year here! Our cold weather doesn’t start here until January and February! We haven’t had a real winter in a while brother, thanks for sharing Austin! 👌🏻🤙🏻🙋🏼‍♂️🇺🇸🇺🇸 Kirk from Lake Charles Louisiana!

Awesomeness!! Way back in '95, the old school bus in Bandera, Tx, was an old International similar to that, gas engine, except it had an automatic transmission. Took days to get up to speed. It probably had half a million miles on it. 😂🤣😂🤣 It was a daily driver, five days a week since it was bought new in the late 60's early 70's.
