Feel free to agree or disagree but Bungie killed Destiny. In the past years this game has become feminist in an extreme way. Every lead is female. You'd think Ikora is the supreme leader and Zavala her errand boy. The Cabal leader is female. Hive leader is female. And now Vex conductor is also female. Lord Shax has become an errand boy to Cabal Caitl. Every male except the two gays are serving females. Every single season was about helping girl boss A defeat girl boss B. I loved this game and I'm gutted to see it ruined by feminists much like Star Wars. I'm glad Sony pulled the plug and fired those in charge as they disrespected and degraded their fan base; heterosexual Men. We made Destiny. Hell, we made Bungie while majority women scoffed and said ewww to videogames, so, to see them pander to a non-existent group ie females (yes there are few women who play but the numbers don't warrant the fundamental feminization that Bungie carried out), and fail is poetic justice.

Self-fulfillment prophecies are a hell of a thing.
Well it’s not that for most people. It’s the fact that they don’t care about the franchise anymore. Destiny is just a way to penny pinch the community til they release the other IPs with the least amount of work possible.
Honestly at this point I’m still gonna keep playing no matter what, Destiny 2 ended its light dark saga with a bang + everything we could’ve asked for. The devs could’ve just ended Destiny 2 with final shape and said they’re making nothing else, as it would be a good finale but let’s be thankful they’re gonna keep going

Despite everything going on right now with bungie, I’m still excited for the content and events coming out and hope that their realization that more focus needed to come back to D2 makes all future content and events awesome

The Destiny 2 fanbase has to be the most negative fan base out there. “The game has no future why bother playing it?” If you enjoy it now, play it while it lasts until the servers eventually go offline and you can no longer play this game!

I really think threaded specter should either a: apply sever to the hunter who uses it, or b: give the same debuff you get for using bakris. If you use it with balance of power, you will receive bonus strand and void damage instead of bonus threadlings or bonus health to your threaded specter. I also think if you use void invis the hunter should be applied with weaken while invis.

As long as Bungie releases all the episodes, I don't care what happens after. I know myself and a lot of other players are just done with Destiny and are only sticking around to wrap up the light and dark saga.
And besides, Bungie probably doesn't even have enough people to make anything past episode 3.

They've pretty much announced that they're letting the game lay down and die, but I think we've still got one last good year worth of destiny 2. Next dlc and the seasons following it are likely to be a flop, but for a little while I think things will be okay at the very least

Unrelated, but I wanted to mention how ass veils labyrinth master lost sector is. Why are there a million hidden enemies that spawn promptly? I was about to farm it like I was doing for a Nessus lost sector on Master a few days ago, but damn, veils labyrinth on Master is monotonous and overall a horrid experience doing once. Why can’t they turn off the servers for last generation on this game? Keep it on the current new generation unlock all the DLC we purchased and let us just enjoy what we’ve purchased over the years and played through it. Then go and make something else. Knowing that so many people left this game because of rumours that its shutting down sucks. Acting like a game with 200 thousand concurrent players would shut down.
Just my two cents. Even before the layouts this year. The playerbase for the most part has been negative. People can say they don't want to put time into a game. That is when you go and play different game and just chill. I'm so tired of hearing politics about this game. That is what ruins a video game. Enjoy the little things.
I've now said to my group that if Echoes act 2 & 3 doesn't pop off, i think this'll be the end for Destiny 2, i dunno if people will be happy with Shadowkeep* esque Expansion packs twice per year with less of a story beat in "The Frontiers", since all of the leads have now either been fired or sent to SIE, it won't be the same Bungie anymore.
It's sad that we got such a good raid and great story. Just to end negatively and full of Bungie drama . Folks are quitting faster and faster. The raid is keeping me going for another couple weeks if I drag my feet. Hope get something good soon

Its my opinon that they need to end d2 after the episodes (maybe little content updates here and there) i think we can all agree its a big game theyve vaulted content honestly I'd want to play that content again which we paid for. So turn frontiers into a d3 make the gameplay different I'd like an open world game set in the cabel and eliksni home worlds restoring them, killing that war hive chick.
Bring back old content either by a monthly rotation and or downloading that content.
Or make d3 a prequel a survial focused game set in the dark age. Story could be around the warlords and iron wolves pick a faction and maybe pvp is enable agasint guardian's of the opposing faction. Maybe the story could involve siva and end with the creation of the last city.
Siva could actually be a subclass in this game even though it isnt a light or dark power.
