We're moving to Meridian in June. Our house is currently being built. We visited 2x. We were considering Eagle but the distance and traffic (infrastructure) in Eagle are not worth it. Everyone we met has been super nice. I make 60 years old in June and I am sick of Libtards. I love the clean suburbs, well behaved people who are into working hard and saving money. I am sick of equity and Liberal policies. I love law and order and people who take responsibility for their actions. Meridian is just so centrally located close enough to Boise, the airport, trails, hiking, rivers, The Village, and it's growing. The poverty-level wages give me pause because I will need to find a full time job (a reason to wake up) for my health care for a few years but oh well. I am an empty nester.

Meridian/Boise Is really appealing to me and my family but being black I always have to keep that in the back of my mind unfortunately.

Is it an easy drive to the grocery store, dispensary(my bf smokes a lot.), and restaurants, malls? Affordable rent, or is there a better city? Easy to find employment? Brown person friendly? It’ll be my first time out of state so I am a lot of terrified lol 😅. Thanks so much in advance!

I moved from Los Angeles August 2022, we relocated to Meridian. Best decision, we love it here. Street traffic is frustrating but manageable.
