My friend used to live on the bench. Her water was absolutely nasty. They were in a battle for years to get the water fixed. They couldn't use it for anything. A whole neighborhood was like that with brown water coming from the tap. My friend doesn't live there anymore and as far as I know they never took care of the water issues.

I think from a previous video you said you have lived in Portland. How would you compare Boise to Portland as far as allergies & smoke? We have both here, but I visited some friends outside of Lewiston recently & had no issues (even though they were out by Waha & there are lots of fires going). However, when I returned, my allergies went nuts. Seemed better in Idaho. Not really looking around Lewiston, but maybe the Caldwell/Nampa area or even Idaho Falls (although, oddly, it does seem housing is a lot more expensive there).

Wasn't a Cali native, but made my money there, when hubby passed, I retired and moved to Idaho six years ago. Best move ever! The only sad thing is so many Californians moving here and bring their political leanings. Don't.

We just arrived to the United States right now we stay in Midland, Texes just because we have to wait for our Green Cards here and we are considering two cities to move: Portland and Boise and I’m so happy to find your channel since you moved from Portland to Boise. At the end of October we are having a flight to Portland and gonna spend a week there and then go to Boise and only then we are going to make a decision where to move. Anyway, I do glad to watch your videos and find them helpful for choosing a place to live )

We were amazed at how clean everything is and how nice the people are compared to the Sacramento area. Nobody was clutching their purses, kids playing nicely at the park. To me, it was like stepping back to my childhood in the eighties. I love it here.
