- The NX500 is Honda’s A2-compatible adventurer, with rugged style. Power and torque derive from the 471cc engine - at 35kW and 43Nm. Honda Selectable Torque Control comes as standard, delivering hugely enjoyable acceleration feel.
New wheels save 1.5kg of unsprung weight and are matched by revised settings for the 41mm Showa SFF-BP USD forks and rear shock. Dual discs up front are worked by two piston calipers. A brand-new LED headlight opens up better visibility at night while a new 5-inch TFT screen offers Honda RoadSync smartphone connectivity, operated by a simplified and backlit 4-way toggle switch. The adventure begins.

Launch this in India with a Price TAG where people can value and afford the motorcycle. Make it competitive so that people can buy. Please dont make the same pricing mistake as the first launch with CB500X. I am eagerly waiting for it to be launched soon.

nx500 here cost exactly 100€ more than cb500x so a very small increase in price, so dont expect lower price...
the nx300 is on my wishlist ! introduce a low range mode in the trans for offroading and suspension settings/modes.
Get this down to 180kgs/400lbs and I’ll get one tomorrow.
And where is the cruise control for the TA750 or this?

okay im realy considoring that bike. But withe the predesessor the final drive was a bit low for riding Autobahn sppeds comftably. Has the final drive ratio changed on this model ?
Release a new NC750-800 with better suspension, bit more power, keep the frunk size (or increase a bit) and you will get a lot of HAPPy costumer :)

The styling doesn’t work at all for me. The headlight’s shape in the double triangular fairing looks weird, the lower part of the fairing painted entirely black makes it look like it’s trying to hide how wide it looks from the front. The previous color scheme where the bike’s color surrounded the black side fairing worked a lot better in my opinion.
Good that it has selectable traction modes and a nice TFT display, but please update the frontal design for next year’s iteration..
You brought the Transalp back (thank you!), why not call this the Dominator?

Yeah, but you're basically missing on the screen with Honda RoadSync, turn by turn navigation, switchable traction control, tweaked suspension, and elasticity on the lower revs, thanks to a change in the map. For a 100$ more.

You need to get involved in the black market in Turkey. Dealers sell the engines by taking extra money, otherwise they say there is no engine.

Vvous avec oublié de mentionner que l'ecran n'affiche pas la température moteur comme sur tous les modèles actuels à refoidissement liquide du marché. Je précise que je viens d'acheter ce modèle et informé Honda de cet oubli ! Si vous voulez connaître la température, ce n'est qu'en cas de panne de surchauffe d'après le manuel du propriétaire .Le service client Honda m'a contacté pour me renvoyer au manuel...

I knew better than to click on the Honda teaser video to learn about the NX500. Apparently, the Honda marketing department is taking tips from the BMW Motorrad marketing department, so we get a video of sexy young people enjoying life and rakish urban architecture with a couple of brief blurred glimpses of the bike. It's a worthless lifestyle ad. I'm interested in the product, not the lifestyle.

I only HOPE @Honda Motorcycles Europe will make better paintjobs as on the past models. 🙄😎 I am riding a CB500X 2019 and a couple of CRFs and ALL OF THEM losing colour first on the shocks and after a year ONLY bigger parts of the engine colour. PAINT is cheap HONDA ... add 10.-EU per bike for better paintjobs. I see even AfricaTwins losing colour after just a year or two on the enging and rust on the frame ....thats not really good looking on a 20,000.-EURO Motorcycle ... you can do better HONDA ❤

a degrade compared to cb500x
That bike is an absolute fail. Plastic over plastic, horrible Design (CFMoto 450mt is what many buyers wish), boring color variants, no spoked wheels, seat hight is too low to call this an adventure bike, power is ok for a 500ccm bike but could be increased in torque and ccm to encounter the high weight, 21" front wheel is what this bike needs to be called adventure bike maybe as a 2nd optional bike variant, too expensive for what it beats.
Changing the name, put a tft display on it and a changing the design a bit, is not enough and there are not many competitors (Himalayan 450, 390 Adventure, 450mt, Trk500) so why make it so weak in many points
