Hi Tony! First of all thank you for your videos about giulietta it has been so helpful! I was wondering if you could make a video on how to check if the heating in the driver seat is working? On my giulietta the light turns on, but I don't feel any heat from the thread within the seat. Thanks in advance 😊
Hi Fadi. Thank you. Unfortunately I don’t have heated seats, so can’t help with a video. I would suggest checking the plugs under the seat though to make sure they’re all okay and don’t have any lose connections. Hope that helps. All the best 👍
Hi Tony, I'm working my way through your library of Giulietta 940 videos. Very helpful, thanks. Just wondering what prompted you to replace the drop links. My wife's 940 QV was acquired with about 65,000 km, now has 143,000. In that entire time there has been a knocking/rattling noise constantly whilst driving. Was this phenomenon similar to whatever motivated you to change out your drop links? Thanks, again. Bill
Mine were a bit worn, and when I first did the research I left it loose and yes it knocked like crazy. Not sure if you’ve seen the MOT prep video in the channel. I run through using a crowbar to identify knocking components. It may help. All the best 👍
Hey Tony, my rear drivers wheel rattles when I go over bumps, even cats eyes, I have changed rear springs, shocks and drop links and it still happens. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks for the videos, really helpful!
It’s probably worth jacking it up so the wheel is a little off the floor then get a pry bar or something underneath the tyre and force it up and down. I think I show this on the MOT preparation video. If it’s a split bush or loose trailing arm, you should be able to replicate the rattle. Probably worth having a quick look over the exhaust brackets too. Hope that helps. All the best 👍
Haha. Yeah, aren’t they just. I do have a full video for the rear bumper published already. Have a look on the channel and you should find it 👍. All the best and thanks for watching. 👍
Hi egon2875. Thanks. Lol, maybe sometime in the future, but no need to on mine at the moment. Yeah, definitely thought about doing an outtakes video... so much material. All the best 👍
Hi Tom. They certainly could, although I’d possibly start with looking the anti rollbar. You could try a little WD on the bushes and see if it disappears. Only do one at a time, that way you know which one it is if it disappears. Thanks for watching. All the best 👍
Hi mate, Just noticing you have a few videos on the Alfa Guilietta. I have not long bought one and the central locking stopped working. I have replaced the battery in the key, checked the key connections, and checked the central locking fuse.norhing has worked. I don't suppose you know anything about this problem? Cheers
Hi Kyle. Not one I’ve come across before to be honest. Do all doors lock from the key in the drivers door? If they do then the system is working, so probably something to do with the transponder. Hope that helps. All the best 👍
Hi Tony. Just to follow up incase you care. I got a spare key cut anyway, they couldn't programme the key from my exsisting key as it was throwing up errors. They could only programme the new key from the car. Not sure what happened with my key, but atleast the central locking on the new one works
I think mine are about ready to be done - having seen this I’m now tempted to do the job myself! Thanks!

Hi Tony, where did you get them links from as on eBay I can only find one side but not the other.
Thanks
Hi. I get my parts from a local auto parts supplier. The one I use a lot is called Bennett’s. All the best 👍

Awesome as ever matey. 👍
Don't fancy doing an inner tie rod next, do you? 🤣
Ever thought about doing an outtakes video? 👍😁

Hi mate, would worn drop links cause a squeaking from the rear suspension?

@@vialettotony Thanks Tony. All the door lock, so must be a transponder or wiring fault. I'll have to get it looked at. Many thanks

@@teenmutantboss that’s great. Glad you got it sorted. Happy motoring 👍😉. All the best 👍
the rear drop links are one-sided?
It’s been a while since I did them, but yes, not side specific from what I recall. All the best 👍
