Yea, I have baby Fi, but literally as soon as someone starts giving unsolicited advice I'm like, "nope." They could be giving me the exact solution to my problem. Unless I already like them and trust them it gets shutdown immediately.

It's not a mask (in the toxic sense). INFJs hold back for the benefit of others. Most people don't really want to be 'seen'. They only want parts of themselves to be seen. It's kinder not to share observations people can't accept. Healthy INFPs are one of the few types that accept themselves completely, and can do the same for others. It's one of the reasons I ❤INFPs.
