For a bit more depressing but also sweet-and-caring-and-NICE-Crowley fanfic about the flood there's a lovely one about Crowley's nightmares. ;) Not a happy pick-me-up mind! But very good imo.

I loved the detail of how they both legit thought they hired seperate full blown organizations of spies but they poth hired the same old guy and then just never noticed
There were so many good moments in this episode that it got cut out. Basically it was 3 seconds of emotional shock and silence, followed by Jinxie making a joke about Crowley's driving to lighten the painful atmosphere. He put so much emotion into that line, it was heartbreaking!

David Tennant has a long history with the Royal Shakespeare company. You should watch his performance as Hamlet from 2009 He is wonderful. It was adapted for film and is here on YT. If you want a small clip look up Am I a coward and David Tennant. The graveyard scene features a real preserved human skull. A fan named Mr. Tchaikovsky willed it to the RSC for its productions.
Just read the historical fan fics. One called aziraphele CD pestilence is fantastic. Aziraphele exhausts himself protecting a convent in Florence from the plague, Crowley finds out pestilence is having a good old time in Florence spreading plegue, and so goes to see if the angel is on, to protect the arrangement. And finds pestilence royally angry that the angel is protecting people. So just gives the Angela cooperation the plague. Crowley has to help take care of him but it kills the angels body and he discorporates. Crowley keeps his right and gets blind drunk for the fifty years it takes Aziraphele to get a new body.
