maybe a stupid question, but will a doctor that tests my blood be able to tell me if my plasma is suitable enough to use for prp treatments? cuz they don’t do those.
@@RedPilledAsFuck The nurse at the clinic I called said drinking alot of water helps with creating more plasma, I read online that plasma is made of 90% water + I also read online that eating high protein also helps create more plasma, it said atleast 24 hours before your appointment, so I myself will probably eat extra high protein 1-2 days before I get a treatment + drinking alot of water aswell.😊
Asking for my dad.. may be too late bc he finally just gave up on the combovers lol ❤ but I see him wearing hats he doesn’t talk about it but I think it does bother him. He has a very receded hairline but there’s like… baby fuzz? Would he still be a candidate?
I wonder if it would be reasonable to get one PRP monthly to promote AND maintain growth? I'm an almost 30 yo female and my doc says I only need 3 treatments per year for maintenance. But I wanna grow everything back, not just maintain the hair which is left Thanks for your answer 💓
Maybe ask the doctor about doing a few treatments one month apart to initially speed up the process, so you get new growth Maybe then after that you can maintain the new growth with those treatments 3 times a year. You will probably have to also be careful not to overdo it and accidentally induce anemia so talk to your doctor next time and get more details
I am a 67 y/o woman that was diagnosed with Frontal Fibrosing Alopecia 5 years ago. To help slow down the process, my dermatologist injects the steroid Kenalog every 3 to 4 months to the areas where I am losing hair due to scar tissue as a result of the Alopecia, and also prescribes daily 200 mg of Hydroxyquin. It creates such anxiety and I feel overwhelmed every time I wash, dry and have my hair colored. I would appreciate hearing your opinion if PRP would prevent further hair loss with this particular type of Alopecia. Thank you for your help.
Do you think PRP for hair loss should be performed by a dermatologist vs an MD? Currently looking for a Dr and am a little lost, I would appreciate any advice you have ❤️ ps I have being a client of yours on my vision board! Love your content.
Usually a doctor or a derm. They inject it into the skin. Look for a specialist in aesthetic medicine who has experience doing prp. They often advertise it
When I stop minoxidil my hair starts to fall again after one month dr say all my life I have to use this treatment I want to get rid of this I think to try prp treatment now
@@SavageSavyCat clearly it’s the minoxidil doing the work then lol, since minoxidil is known to be great for hair loss and there’s way less studies that indicate prp works
@@SavageSavyCat then its safe to assume minoxidil did 99 percent of the work since its proven to regrow hair, whereas the research on prp is weak and even the irl results.
I’ve had it done and it definitely hurts like a B. Basically it’s an injection in 0.5-1cm increments over the top of your head… it goes fast but it’s an intense 30 mins for sure
But i took 4 PRP session over 4 months and didn’t get any result 😭😭😭😭. I'm 22+. Now my doctor suggest me a medicine called Urodart which content "dutasteride liquid"... And aftar taking it continuously 2months, i still didn’t get any result 😭😭😭
@ana419 That can be one result when you stop using it. But I read that particularly for those with hormonal hair loss, may not have that experience. I think it depends on the reason for the loss. I kept my hair after I stopped using + my dermatologist confirmed it with her high powered camera + regular pictures. But one thing that has been key for me is to address dht (hormones) with a natural DHT blocker. Many hair vitamins dont contain this but my Dr Berg hair vitamins do. Along with pretty much all the nutrients that cause hair deficiencies. I love these vitamins! There are different causes of hair loss so its good to get a checkup + have the doc include tests for hair nutrients to be sure you're not deficiency and don't have an autoimmune disease (alopecia, etc) When my dermatologist said she did blood tests for these things, on her website, I knew she was the doc for me 😊😊
What an insulting thing to say! And of course she would have every right to be mad about your question. She is almost 40, but looks young due to her skincare. Just because her husband has grey hair, or alopecia, it doesn’t mean he is old. Even if he is older than she is, that is none of your business and is a perfectly fine thing to do. It is between them and their choice. I swear, some people can be so hurtful and rude-just saying “don’t be mad” means you should definitely not say what you want to say. Be polite and mindful of manners, please.
You can love anyone, there may also be a certain charm and benefit to having a more mature partner (more life experience, less messing about etc) IF he even is older
Prp is magic but you have to make sure you are atleast somewhat healty your plasma does not automatically get nutrients.

How long is the treatment? I mean how many treatments is a whole treatment?
Wow!
how long does PRP hair last ... i mean do we get same result after 3yrs .. can i maintain the same with some yoga like sirsasana

Can prp cause massive shedding ?
Do you know if France offers this protocol?

Ok but how much is it?
