Only had the privilege of seeing MH twice (I’m in Oztralia). The biggest takeaway is ye gotta see ‘em live. They are consummate musicians who’ve been honing their unique craft for a long time and it has to be experienced live. Long live the Honey!

Oh memories!! Yeah got to see them in O-town ‘90 in Barabarella’s! Omfg we tore the place down.... I literally just discovered mudhoney , nirvana , soundgarden , Alice, when looking in the college paper what did my wondering eyes get to see, 4 mud honeys about to play a show for me!!
How the fuck are the audience just sitting there? I saw Mudhoney in a slightly bigger club in Edinburgh in 1989 and it's possibly the best gig I have ever been too - must have lost gallons in sweat lol
there were maybe 20 people at this. my brother and i told everybody to go to the bunratty's show the next night (Halloween) , there were 3 people at that gig, wmbr dj conrad and the 2 of us, they played their asses off anyway. mark arm wore a pretty dress.

October 30, 1988 was a Sunday according to the calendar. And this was an "afternoon show", which the Middle East only did on Sundays. It's possible they played again at the Middle East on the 31st, but I have no way to find out. Bunratty's was another club, on Harvard Ave. in Allston (part of Boston). There are other shows on this channel (not too many, but a few) that were video'ed there. Sounds like Mark is announcing that they're playing at Bunratty's the same day as this show.
