As a former 1990's twenty something who was every bit into the Grunge music scene, it's sad to see how very few bands of that era still exist. now i know how 80's Glam Rock fans feel.
*Gone* *Still active*
Nirvana Pearl Jam
Screaming Trees Mudhoney
Alice In Chains (w/ Staley) Melvins
Soundgarden Green River (3 reunion shows)
Tad
7 Year Bitch
Temple Of The Dog
Mad Season
Those bands are written in 2 columns but we had them all, and still have their music, that's great.👍😢
As a grunge fan in the 90s I always look back and wonder how the only big 'grunge' name I've seen is Alice in chains. On the dirt tour and then 2 or 3 years ago without Layne.
Hopefully finally seeing this lot next year.
just cause its not with Layne doesnt mean Alice in Chains is gone. Duvall is a more than worthy successor
Seattle is haunted by the Ghosts of Grunge
Seattle is haunted by the Ghosts of Grunge
Literally the most "Seattle" concert ever.
I remember hearing Superfuzz Bigmuff and having my mind blown at just how filthy the guitar sound was! That was over 30 years ago. Still a fan!
some things do get better with age, rock on guys!
This is how you sound when you don't sell out... Hehe, one of the best bands ever!
Please bro, they TRIED to sell out. Couldn't write a hit.
Enki Ea name one u spaz
yeah, too bad you can't touch them,
they're sick
@@enkiea8322 where did u saw that
@@enkiea8322 😂😂
I watch this video over and over. I just love this performance so much!
Raw..... just how it should be, IGGY is proud of you!!
Strangely enough Iggy ignored them and never cared all that much, he just flocked to the critic darlings Nirvana...shame, one of the best bands, if not the best from that scene.
@@cinematicpassages8884 Actually, Iggy and Mark have been fairly friendly over the years.
places not to stage dive pt3.
or injectting
+Damian O'Reilly you're no fun
some guy pointed out above you the drummer looks like almost hanging
where's part 1 and part 2?
you know that is just a hard job
So glad they're still together!
yeah, going to see them soon.
I didn't know a band could kick this much ass Beavis!!!!! YEAH YEAH, MUDHONEY RULES!!!!
Haha, love it
Beavies... you mean people from Beaverton?
They are one of the best live acts remaining
All music played by Mudhoney is great music.
ill never forget the time i saw Mudhoney and this kid got on stage and started fighting with mark arm. they were rolling around on stage. mark beat the crap out of the kid........mean while the band kept playing the song the whole time. rock and roll baby.
miked4309 This sounds a little like what happened at the Tractor Tavern in Ballard last year. Is that the show you're talking about?
Itelkner this was prolly in 1992 or something like that in Boston at the Paradise Rock Club. i went to college with a kid that said he went to see Mudhoney and they had beer bottles on the stage and Mark Arm started hitting them towards the crowd with a hockey stick> i dont know how that happened but......ROCK AND ROLL.
That's a great fuckin story.
This rules so much, Steve Turners guitar tone is just filthy, dirty !
how can anyone dislike this? It's grunge at its best!!!! Mudhoney livest, roughest and grungest.
Thats grunge! Not like fuckin pearl jam
Hi Larry from 2022! We don't see dislikes on youtube anymore.
@@DenEz_TV Have your dislike for lying to me.
@@larrydiaz I didn't lie. I don't see dislikes.
I can see them and gave one to you. Maybe it's something regional UA-cam is implementing as a new feature.
Today is the 30th anniversary of "Touck me I'm sick" release! GREAT JOB, DUDES! lml
Fantastic guitar tone... great recording especially for being outside in the wind.
First ever band I saw live, which was over 20 years ago! They are as good now as they were then. True Godfathers of grunge!
These guys always reminded me of the Stooges just pure raw power in your face the way music should be all marks missing is the peanut butter haha
Steve Turner's a beast!
Quite the beast
Any guitar you hear is being played by Steve!
Looking good, and damn fine, and growing old disgracefully!
Still killing it
Amazing city with gorgeus grunge guys....to the highest level.
One thing they could have done is have a base jumper jump off the needle with a parachute with the Subpop logo on it.
Mark Arm is such a brilliant vocalist. He's a very underrated but skilled singer
grunge is not dead
I know there's a handrail/barrier there, but watching Steve playing and bobbing around close to the edge is making my heart bang.
Was just thinking the same thing
I've watched this once a week AT MINIMUM since I discovered it a few years back. It's SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD! I absolutely can't get enough!
Pure gold.
Thank you for this upload. Great band, great live!
One of the best videos KEXP have put out. Now get Truly and Robert Roth to do a live performance!
This is the fucking HONEY music I've been looking for a long time.
(Not really I've known them for ages and I love them.... so far no one has ever beaten these guys)
Mark Arm will never get tired of rocking the hell out
I don't think I've heard a better version of Touch Me I'm Sick, and I saw these guys PLENTY back in the day. (And Mark, you Would remember me!)
Why would he remember you?
*That moment when you comment something and finally get a reply*

SEATTLE . Look at that sunshine bitches!
Wow what a view-so good to see these guy out there still playing thx
I've seen Mudhoney 2 times in Washington DC. If I saw a live show on top of the Space Needle, My head would explode and they'd find my body floating in the sound. My favorite band of all time.
So freaking epic, I love Mudhoney...I was lucky (or just lived at the right time) to see them twice, including once at Green River Community College...permanent memories
And if you want to listen to another amazing indy/college station be sure to check out KGRG www.kgrg.com/
Saw them in 2015 and they sounded better than ever.
Always though that Mudhoney are the perfect blueprint for a punk rock band
john's the best kexp show. just at the right time after lunch here in Europe :)
I'm scared of heights.
lol
don't jump dude....ha ha.....mudhoney ROCKS!!!!!
sindykrs bh
Dan Workname dont thrash too hard XD, if i was there I'd probably mosh right off the damn building XD
I def would have overcome my fear to see them
the only way you'd get me on top of the space needle is if Mudhoney was playing on it (or Dinosaur Jr, or The Damned or MBV or Iggy..)
STILL SICK AF !
"Touch me I'm Sick" was my go-to jam during the pandemic.
every good boy deserves fudge and piece of cake are grunge classic albuns
Os 4 primeiros são de mais cara! e no ano 2000 eles tem lançado ótimos álbuns como Under a billion suns e The luck ones.

Mudhoney and Green River, the best of grunge.
Nice. Haha. I saw all the greats in early 90’s. There was a time them and nirvana were about the same fame. That’s when I was all up in it. Really crazy fun.
I`m sick, never been touched, you have touched me again...I`m well.
LOVE
first time I see them live without a single stage diver :)

This made me love Seattle again, if only for a moment.

Mudhoney is the best.
Very cool !!! Muito bom !!!!
On the space needle.Thats sick.
I am seeing them Friday 25th Jan in Melbourne - HEEEEEEEEEEEEE YAHHHHHHHHHHH
Into The Drink is their best song imo
Just caught them at The Ohana Fest 2019, was the only reason to go. Ya, Eddie and Red Hot Chili Peppers are okay, but not a good enough reason to literally drive completely across LA. Goleta to Dana Point in no small trek. I was able to sit outside of the fence on the beach and soak it up. Worth it.
I remember Mark when he was in Mr. Epp!
DAN is on fire!
first album. unreal.
What a band! Dan Peters is such a great drummer!
porra!!! fazer um som desse e ainda curtir essa vista linda deve ser do caralho!!!!
Haha, Mark Arm is starting to look like TOm Petty
fastnbulbous82 I'd say he looks like young Iggy Pop
No thats a clean young Iggy Pop
They deserve to play up there
HELL YES.
Good thing they got a show in before the rain 😎
Yessss...>>>>>X
