    I am starting from ground zero with all my finances because I had a flood tragedy and it took all my emergency savings and everything was destroyed so I'm thinking about using you as my financial coach to start fresh

    I have car maintenance, health and medical (my deductible is crazy high), travel, Christmas, gifts, car insurance, emergency, technology, and home repair. You are so right that it is a game changer to have have the money when you need it.

    Sinking funds are so awesome, thank you for sharing your list. I have a few already but I am really going to make a lot more this year, I haven't figured it all out yet. But I will soon, and probably will do a similar video!

    As someone who works for Snapple please get the apple care+ for the laptop, their MacBook keyboards mess up so so so so much and we do have recalls but they are so specific and it’s just a mess. Also I wouldn’t suggest the m1 as of now until they figure out the kinks. But I will say I also think the iPhones are probably the most problematic and the iPads are the best. This is after trouble shooting apple products for 9 hours a day.

      I have a Samsung galaxy note 8, my next will be the note 20, since I believe that’s the last model you can add an sd card too.

      Will do!
      Is this for the new MacBooks?? I've had my current one since 2014 and it's still pretty amazing.

      @@PersonalFinancewithLeila I will say from 2016 on we have been seeing keyboard issues model wise, but the newest we won’t know until after the 2ish year mark,. 2-3 years is when we typically have been seeing the issues emerge. Which is where it’s a but inconvenient with the standard 1 year warranty. But usually apple (eventaully) released a program where it’s free to get it fixed. But the apple care+ just extends that warranty so much further years wise,

      My boyfriend and family gets annoyed with me having an Android 😂 More important to me is connecting Google apps to my phone which Android does well

    • @callmeNeno
      @callmeNeno 2 роки тому

      @@PersonalFinancewithLeila it’s ironic you say that. Google apps actually work better & optimized better on iOS than on android devices like Galaxy phone. If you get a pure android experience with a stock Google Pixel phone might be different.

    Happy New Year! I share a similar opinion that Apple is good for some tech (laptop/tablets) but I prefer Android for cellphones. I was surprised to hear that someone else shared my unusual opinion LOL! 🤣

      And yup, I despise Microsoft/PCs for laptops. They all have broken down on me. But my phone is a different story!

    Great video. I've done miradry. Probably can't compare but it costed 1800euros. They suggested to have 2 procedures, but I could only afford one at the time. Long story short... The first months or even one-two years in, I'd say it reduced 70% - I was on cloud nine after years of suffering. But going on the 2nd and 3rd year it went completely back to what it was before, completely or even more... I felt taken advantage of with their promises of being a permanent solution, it is not... Just wanted to share it. Best of luck, hopefully you'll have a better experience as the years go by...

      Thank you for sharing! That is so upsetting that it ended up going back. Do you think it's possibly because you only did 1 session??
      I'm definitely afraid of going through the money/pain and it not working. I would LOVE to not sweat when I'm just sitting still though lol

    I understand the concept of sinking funds. But, I’m not sure how I should save this money. Do you have multiple savings accounts for each sinking fund category? Or is it lumped into one sinking fund? If it’s lumped, how do you keep track of what is really saved? This seems like a dumb question but I honestly never heard anyone explain the bank account portion of it.

    • @PersonalFinancewithLeila
      @PersonalFinancewithLeila  2 роки тому +1

      I use my high-yield savings account (Marcus by Goldman Sachs) which allows you to create multiple accounts under one! So each of my accounts is labeled according to what I am saving for. They're all on one page, but each is separated so I know how much is in each. Hopefully that makes sense!

      @@PersonalFinancewithLeila that makes perfect sense and after rewatching your video, I just realized you’ve gone over this in the beginning 😅🤦🏻‍♀️ thanks for the info! Can’t wait to start my sinking funds!!
