This is the second episode that I watched today.. A lot to learn from the interviewee who being a teacher has a great outlook of need based living. She gives credit to Abdul Kalam for advocating simple living. Her attention to details for every one of the items in the house made sense. The sum up by her was something not to be missed. She is a good role model for this generation to wean them away from unnecessary materialistic way of life. This episode is not to be missed. The program on the whole is quite interesting and useful to anyone maintaining a house. It is the heart that should be large enough to accommodate, not the items that we accumulate all through life. At the end, many of the items that we bought were scarcely used. Leaving such things for the next generation to sort out the junk that we created adds to every one's burden. Great message from the teacher Sumathi. Wish her and family all the very best.

Don't worry about talking to your appliances,one of my young friends taught me to do so- to tell Sambar or milk not to overflow, to keep different items in cooker and get all cooked properly, with gratitude, conviction and humility and it really works.
