    This is probably the best comparison between mobile devices I have ever seen. This is how 98% of people use their phones. THIS is how reviewers should be reviewing phones. Was very interesting and useful to see signal strength and battery life differences between the two variants in real life scenarios. So my conclusion is that unfortunately Exynos is no better than previous years, despite all the hype. I have S10 Exynos, and yeah, all those signal and battery problems look identical to what I experienced for all those years. I really REALLY wanted to buy a S24, oh well :(

    • @fmmderetarzi

      yup, really good video EXACTLY how most people use the phone
      I also wanted the S24+.... and once I saw the Exynos I was like fk no

      I like the test but I don't agree with the 98% estimation. My phone is almost all of the time connected to some Wifi, at least within the week at work or at home ;)

    • @fmmderetarzi
      @fmmderetarzi Місяць тому +2

      @@flowqi212 that's a stupid reason....the point is the Exynos is inferior and I'm not buying (nor anyone) a phone that is a "flagship" that is inferior to other variants of the same phone
      not to mention that the snapdragon variant was kneecapped and doesn't have WI-FI 7 because the turd Exynos can't support it
      this is how companies shit on their own clients because dingleberries don't care if they get an inferior product for the same price or 50$ cheaper (which at that price range means nothing)
      The devices should be named differently at least

    • @flowqi212
      @flowqi212 Місяць тому +1

      @fmmderetarzi geez, I didn't defend Exynos, I just said that this is not the daily usage of 98% of the users. If you use Wifi a lot, battery life is almost identical, as Techmo showed before. It's just the 5g modem, and for unknown reasons, the video camera that burns battery like sh*t in the Exynos.

    • @fmmderetarzi
      @fmmderetarzi Місяць тому +2

      @@flowqi212 it's not just 5g...the modem is worse overall with weaker signal
      I'm just pissed because I wanted to get the S24+ and because of that exynos I can't anymore

    Yo, Samsung, I hope you're watching this and reading the comments. Listen up, you should put the Exynos in the FE phones and the Snapdragon in the S series. When you call a phone a flagship, it's supposed to have the best features, right? That's why Apple is killing it.

      Apple isn't killing it because of chipset performance. That take just proves you don't really understand the phone market. The iPhone could stay on the same chipset for the next 3 years and it will sell just as well. The normie user doesn't care what chipset comes in the phone. They care about the experience. And unless you look at a video like this, an Exynos user generally doesn't notice anything or feel like they would've gotten a better experience elsewhere unless the phone lags terribly or locks up entirely or crashes.

    Yup this is a confirmation that exynos is not a good option. Also, there are rumors of S24FE launching sooner than expected with same chip as S24 and S24+. I wonder what's going to be the differentiating factor when the whole lineup (except ultra) is using 1 chip.

  • @dheeraja511

    Using the s24+ exynos for a month . It has been an enjoyable experience so far, great cameras especially the 3x zoom. Having upgraded from iphone 13, I am mostly noticing improvements in the camera department, display, battery life, charging speed and cellular connectivity. Can't go back to 60 Hz anymore!! Also, at this price point, not having a telephoto camera is bummer for the iphone. We never know what we are missing out on untill we use that telephoto lense. 45W charging is much faster compared to 20-25 W charging on the iphone.
    The device will easily last 1-1.5 days if you are a moderate user. I am not a gamer, so can't comment on that. While watching youtube videos and during video calls, phone will get slightly warmer, which I also noticed on my iphone. No heating issue or battery drain issues during regular usage. Battery standby is also great (I use FHD resolution and not the QHD for better battery back up).
    What I am missing out having upgraded from the iphone to samsung is surely the face unlock. Also, the a15 bionic + ios combination might still be more fluid compared to exynos 2400. Never seen a stutter or lag on my iphone. Not that the performance is bad on my galaxy, it has been great so far. But you might find a stutter or lag once in a while (only if you look closely). But the AI features and one UI experience is better than the ios any day.
    Overall, if you are not a heavy gamer, I would highly recommend you to pick the exynos version of the s24+ compared to other phones in this category for a better overall smartphone experience. There are other android phones with better cameras, battery back up, performance etc. But overall experience with a galaxy phone is top-notch. Comparing to iphone 15+ and not factoring in the ecossystem compatibility, s24+ is a better pic because of - 120Hz display, 3x telephoto camera, 45W fast charging and galaxy AI. Battery back up will be better on iphone and primary camera photos and videos will be slightly better on the iphone, but how can one tolerate that 60 Hz display and 25W sluggish charging!

    I believe best buy phone still is S23 plus.
    What I did is believed S24 Ultra would be the best option for me but after having Note 10+ and actually not using the phone the same way as before I found heavy weight, mediocre cameras and processor (gen3) that outputs more power but consumes more and heats more, to be probably not as significant upgrade from my phone or s23 series.

      Hey man, thanks for the donation, it's the first in the Channel.
      Unfortunately esim won't solve the issue. There are two main problems with the Exynos chipset, for one the Samsung Fabrication doesn't have the best yield which means you don't always get the most efficient chipset. Second Qualcomm holds lots of patents for 5G and that's why in house Samsung phones are not the best. If u don't mind a bigger phone I'm very happy with the Ultra, otherwise I would personally pick S23 even though S24 has lots of interesting features.

      So that is the problem. Samsung prefers to make more money with Exynos to subsidise their US sales to win against Apple. >$100 per phone extra profit selling Exynos. That is why I refuse to buy Exynos. Wait for the summer; if it is hot, then the Exynos will show its true colours.

I would want to know if there is a significant difference, especially if the phone is left in standby for a long time, when it comes to battery drain. There is this "anecdotal wisdom" around that having many Apps just installed, without using them, drains your battery faster and for me it feels like it at times it does, but I would love to have some hard data.
