I have both an S24 and IPhone 15pro. S24 was offered for switching carriers. I think they are both very efficient phones and I was surprised how Samsung is getting better with each generation. They both have there pros and cons but both are great phones

@@robhughes8516 why xiaomi can't be better than Samsung? Any specific reason? Camera is better on xiaomi, charging speed and battery life is better (compared to exynos) on xiaomi. Display and performance is equal. Samsung may pull little ahead interms of software but it's all come down to personal preference interms of software
@@daryllarado4853I got this exynos in UK. Battery is excellent 7.5hrs screen on time.. usually from 6am to 10pm I have 4hrs screen on time and still 40% battery left. Mixed 4g/5g wifi. I'm not gaming and not using Always on Display as I have always smartwatch connected. No overheating issue

Exynos 2400 is a great chip just like SD 8 gen 3 don't let these online hooligans fool you they complain and they don't even have the phone 🤣
This definitely gives u more than base iPhone 15. 120htz, always on display split screen reverse wireless charging. You get a lot here still for the base s24 without having to get the Ultra. Coming from the S21, huge improvements.
The rest are fools that do not ask Samsung to give them SD too. Ditch Exynosss S24 versions in Europe for example and the right message will be sent to Samsung.
I came from the base s23 and i didn't think the s24 would be any better. The screen is incredible especially in direct sunlight. The sound is slightly louder and the haptics are stronger. Circle to search has been fun to use pricing old baseball cards and antiques at a thrift shops. SD 256 gb version. 6 to 7 hours sot using cellular data too.
@@RobtheKO8Efan24 I would say it depends on your money situation. Samsung was offering extra trade-in credit, a storage upgrade and like $50 in store credit. For me it was worth it.
My S24+ is coming in tomorrow but part of me thinks I should've went with a regular S24. I think I'll enjoy the larger display though, especially for typing since I make many typos on the regular-sized phones.
Got the s24 a month ago when prime day was happened. Was between this and the s23fe. I don't regret this purchase and got the snap dragon variant for 600 dollars. Amazing phone. Amazing value
S24 is great to see, definitely the best smartphone today, the first AI smartphone with a powerful processor, One UI operating system is smoother, 8K 30 fps just reminds of premium class, in short, the best smartphone✨🔥
I have the same phone in Exynos 2400 and violet colour. it is a beast in performance. I charge the battery to 80 percent only to make it last longer. However, i still believe that the battery life could have been a bit better.
This seems to be the best phone for someone who wants sleek sporty all around simplified easy to manage and hold versatile power, performance, features and capabilities imo so far
Samsung needs to offer 2 key things in the upcoming S25 phone for me to immediately switch over from my Xiaomi 14 1. Offer vertical scrolling in app drawer (swiping up for the drawer but then have to swipe horizontally is irritating) 2. A better camera sensor at least for the mIn camera, sensor size needs to be 1/1.3 at the very least (S24 main sensor is a 3 year old 1/1.56 sensor)
The s24 in the uk can be had very cheap I paid 330 for my 256gb model not Samsung directly in cobalt purple.Standard price was 860 but got 15 percent off going through perks at work then a 300 off code then 100 for any broken phone,which I had in a draw from like ten year ago,not even a smartphone.Its a great phone for price I paid and it’s cheaper than a new iPhone 13.

I have the s24 ultra and have noticed mura where it looks like sandpaper in kow night, and the blacks can have like a bowing effect. It looks kind of like water color, ive been doing research, and it looks like i have to just get the phone swapped out, but have you noticed anything like im describing on your device? Just wondering because i know in the past the displays have been stated to be the best in the gane and it is bad cant even sugar code it because of the grainy sandpaper.

Just got this today S24 256 GB, Sandstone Orange on Samsung's Canadian website, $401.14 with trade-in, traded my old S20 FE, just got a free Pixel 7a from my carrier 3 weeks ago, so I will sell it for $400.00 that way I get the S24 for $1.14, plus Samsung threw in a $65.00 case.😁
The base system probably takes like up to 20-30 gbs, but other than anything added by the carrier, the bloatware is virtually non existence. Samsung will certainly offer their opt ins for games and apps and add their basic folder like Bixby and their browser etc but can't see anything installed that I would consider Bloatware other than maybe that

Why Samsung??Even mid range phones start from 256gb these days. -Exynos in some regions. -same camera hardware for 3-4 years now. Why?? -25W wired charging in 2024.Why?? And the biggest issue is how little Samsung flagships have improved over the years. Galaxy S20 a 4year old device had -Exynos/Snapdragon depending on regions -a 1440p 120hz screen -8/128 base version -25W fast charging -4000mah battery. -It Also supported MicroSD cards -charger in the box and typeC headphones. In 4years Samsung, not only improved nothing in these but they also lowered in resolution and dropped MicroSD ,charger and headphones.

I'm getting mine tomorrow, I'm so excited. Coming from s22, I'm used to the Exynos chip, although this one is newer, so it must be better right.
I got the S24+ in the marble grey color a couple of weeks back and all around it's just an excellent phone.

You probably in all reality don't need a screen protector but i like to avoid scratches, especially when it costs a lot like these phones do.

Get the 128 version with the usb c samsung memory, you can store files there, nobody looks at 10k pictures on a daily basis

It's never debatable if you need a screen protector or not. Theses screens still get scratched up.

Its not flicker free , flicker still happens with pwm 480hz which is very low and can cause eye strain for some ppl
