equality with God as something to cling to.
Instead, he gave up his divine privileges; he
took the humble position of a slave and was

One of the best fishing channels on here. Thank you Richard and God bless
Glad to hear another fisherman call minnows (minners),greetings from east tn
Your loop knot trick is the only way I tie loop knots now! Jig fishing I tie a lot of them.
The best in North Alabama!
A true fisherman I love it show Amanda fish feed them for life my brother❤
& your patience with those other boats is commendable!
That is the way when you are sauger fishing. Below damns are community fishing spots. Many have an etiquette where you pull rigs up stream and drift down. If you want to be alone. Go down river and find your own fish
I would love to fish for sauger one day, and I’d really love to get some in a frying pan. I live in Northeast Ohio, and here we have saugeye. Saugeyes are hybrids that come from crossing a female walleye with a male sauger. Walleye have no distinct spots on their spiny dorsal fins while saugers do, and saugeye have both bars and spots in the webbing of their spiny dorsal fin. The saugeye is excellent table fair and is my 2nd favorite fish to eat only behind freshwater perch. This is making me hangry Richard! Lol😂 God bless you and momma sue, and give the pups big kisses and hugs from all your Ohio fans!!
Your educational video was great on sauger. That had to be a cold boat ride. Stay safe.
love the dedication ! only time I caught a sauger was by accident fishing for stripers below Wilson dam
Those were some good jacks Richard!! LIVE FOR THE THUMP MY FRIEND!!
It wouldn't be right if I didn't invite yall up north for sauger fishing. On the upper Mississippi you can ice fish in the morning. And take your boat out in the afternoon. Good fishing in that part of the country
Woooh!! I'm talkin bout Wooooooh! 18 inches is a monster sauger. Keep up the good work! I love your videos!
My make a wish is to go fishin’ with Richard Gene! Wooo!
Seems like it’s been awhile since your last video Richard Gene, yet here we are another classic
It’s been 5 days
Second to none!!!🎣🎣🎣
Find a bait shop in Sauk, Wisconsin and check to find out when the walleye and sauger bite starts. The same way you are catching them on the Tennessee River will get you bit on the Wisconsin River below the dam at Sauk. State record came out of this location and weighed 6.56 lbs. , seems like it was 26.5” long
Might make a good video and give you a new pb sauger.❤
Love sauger fishing!
When you got a "woohoo" from the cheap seats I chuckled to myself and then I heard you chuckle and I got even more tickled! Blessings to you and Momma Sue! Thanks for bringing us along!
Great video, Richard! I have never caught sauger,
but if they're good to eat, I'll be keeping the first one I land!

Richard I don’t know if you’ll see this comment or not but check this out. I was fishing with some friends and a few other people around the boat Harbor below Wilson dam for Croppie. No one was catching anything not even the guys fishing with live minnows I swapped to a pink bobby garland and got 11.

Hey man, WOOOOO!
Braving the 7 seas to catch a fish...u go, RG! haha
Great job Richard!
I love seeing a Tru sportsman fishing. NO CHEATSCOPE
Amen!! I hate the scopes. They are hurting others ability to catch fish. I don’t use one
I never use live scope either. I cover lots of water and use simplicity and catch a ton of fish. I use a 6 or 12 inch leader with either 1/10 oz egg weight or split shot. I'll tie leader with size 1, 2 or 4 baitholder sometimes a 16 baitholder if I'm going for bait fish. Of course if there's corrent I'll use a split shot or egg weight. If there's minimal or no corrent I'll fish it weightless. Then I'll use 6 or 12 inch leader I'll put a slip bobber on then tie leader to main line. Most times I use 12 inch leader. Then I'll tie a dropshot. Next I use 1/8 1/16 or 1/32 crappie jigs with a white grub. I put procure trophy bass on the few lures or soft plastics I use. Then I'll use a ewg super line offset hook with 1/32 1/16 or 3/8oz bullet weight. Soft plastics I use 3 inch hellgramites, zero z too smoky blue fluke 5 inch finesse worms or white grub 2". Lures I use a jerkbait a kvd splash a Berkeley choppo or a wake bait either a rat or fish. This is all I use and catch tons of fish. On a slow day at least 6 to 8 fish 😊😊❤ oh a new lure I'll try I saw Richard use a 1/16 bitsy jig 😊
Have you ever thought about installing some foam pool noodles on the edge of your boat? Just get the size you want and cut them long ways, and you can glue them on, or just slip them on when you're bumping up against the wall, might help protect your boat.
Your welcome and thank you
that jig you decided on i believe is called a firetiger color pattern. i discovered a rapala lipped crankbait in that pattern b4 that works great for crappie in the right conditions. tight lines....and God bless
ive always heard sauger and walleye are really good eating. them an a smallmouth are on my bucket list ive never caught any of those species. we dont have em in south ms.
Never been sauger fishing before! Looks like fun though🔥
Gotta love some sauger. What's that rod there Richard?
Would love to see how you fry fish sometime!!
Hay Richard, I was just wondering if you have done any videos on small crappie hard baits like small crank baits , traps, etc. I have caught some on them myself. I was just wondering what your thoughts are on their use. You are a pro on finding and catching crappie. Always enjoy your attitude and comic videos, and absolutely a grand personality . Thanks, one of your grateful followers, Don B.
Nice ones.
love your channel! so educational
are you using your electronics to locate the sauger?
I wish you made a fishing kit or a video with $100-$200 tackle box setup that you would start with today if you didn’t have anything. You have shown so many bait combos that I’m very confused on what to buy other than buying one of everything. Even the amount of different bobbers you use. I’d like to start over with one good kit with the best stuff.
My first smallmouth I had ever caught was sauger fishing at pickwick lake with hand tied bear hair jigs tipped with minnows.
Looks like the weather is supposed to be much better this week, mid 60's, I guess I need to get the boat out of the Garage and head to the Dam.
I fish that exact spot pretty often, have taken a couple of HUGE crappie there, and several small Sauger.
I always thought this spot would hold a wall hanging crappy.
I call it BLESS TOO!!!
Nice. Was that an eagle photobomb at 3:30?
God bless you sir love all your videos the first two jigs you had in hand but the first one you tied on that looks like a little perch if you don't mind me asking where did you get that I need one of those. God bless everything you do.
You and mama Sue can maybe do a catch and cook????
Pink & white have been a hot color here in the Ohio valley this year.
Have you tried any reaction baits for sauger? Jigging rap, vibe, vibrato, or ripping rap? Also I love your videos! Makes me wanna go fish! Wooooooo!
Ur a bad bad man 27 degrees
Please more catch and clean
Richard, please do me a favor and have some blood work done.I have noticed some swelling in your left hand when your right looked fine. We do not want fluid buildup causing any issues.
A visit to the cardiologist for a checkup would not hurt .
I love watching you fish and want to for many more years.
Hi Richard! Can you give me the specifics on that bow mount trolling motor you got there? Love the videos!
Hey Richard, great vid as always, I’ve never caught sauger before, are they here in Weiss or only in Guntersville?
Great video
RGTFM is a National treasure.
Damn those dudes got really close to you bro
Looks like a good spot for big cat fish theyyyyyy
Do you ever use live bluegill for bass? If so, how do you rig them? Thanks, and love the channel!
If I'm mistaking he's got a few videos of him using bluegill.
Bcuz it's gooooood for you!💪🏿
I like the look of that sowbelly rod. Where could a fella acquire one a them?
THANKS!
Hey Richard, what brand of braided line do you use? Thanks
Another goodun 🐖🎣🇺🇸
I’d like to know what you the machine does with jigs after you use them for several outings. Do you resharpen them?
Can you show how you've made your bumpers for your boat
Now that's how you test the sharpness of your hook...by sticking it in your finger haha😊
