After I wrote these words in my bible, "My Lord, I ask that you save me from my ignorance. Open my heart, my mind, my eyes. I seek the truth. Please bless me with wisdom", everything changed for me. I am no longer guilt ridden and my new found spiritual journey is without a doubt my most precious journey. Proud to be deconstructing!
We're asked to ask for wisdom... For sure you can't go wrong asking for wisdom. Glad you're finding it especially with the fact that we're not supposed to be guilt ridden...the point of the cross, we're no longer guilty.
Yes! His comment about "repent" meaning "change your direction" and "the kingdom of God is within you" (not "out there" somewhere but "here") is a game changer. I'm glad Keith is speaking the truth! Very refreshing!
I left the church 20 years ago because of what I saw and heard. On one hand they would say Jesus loves you, God loves you, and then on the other hand they would say, God is ready to torture you for all of eternity if you don't believe the way I do. It's sickening and I believe it's a lie straight from the pits of hell. If God commands us to forgive and love our enemies, but yet He is ready to torture us how contradicting is that. God showed me the day I left the church to love all in spite of and to just be a light as Jesus was and still is today. Be a light because God draws man by His love, NOT by fear telling people they will burn forever if they fail to believe a certain way. That is absurd!
@@kanhdahar2 I truly believe that God loves us unconditionally. However, it is man's interpretation of God that He is like man and will not forgive us and burn us for all of eternity simply because we failed to believe a certain way or were not perfect. Remember this, MAN is quick to put you in hell, BUT God is quick to take you OUT! Religion has caused so much division in this world! Yes, religion can make some people a better people. The problem is when those people start thinking they are better than others and then start to judge others for not believing the way they do. That's when it causes division among the people. We must all learn how to live and love one another despite our beliefs. Sure, we don't want to be around people who do evil, but we must learn how to pray and love those people as well because they are human just like we are. We should be a light, love, express joy, peace, and happiness and that will attract those types of things. Like will attract like so if we are depressed and angry, then we will attract the same. We must learn how to bring the world together in love and stop the hatred. If religion could only see that they are causing more harm and division than anything else. Blessings to you!
@@WhoseLifeIsItAnywayPodcast Yes, every man made system. The reason is because man believes our Creator thinks like we do. What they fail to realize is God has NO ego like we do! He would not create ANYTHING and then condemn it! That would be very contradictory to create man knowing they would sin and then condemn them for sinning. Only man could think of such ruthless rules of "either do good or forever burn". That's absurd!
wow!! now i realize there are other people like me, who want to learn to follow Jesus in loving my neighbor, and don't want to judge and hate others in the name of religion!!!!!!
I used to relate as a born again Christian for about 18 years. I was never really understanding what it meant and always praying to God to show me what does this mean what am I supposed to do what’s my meaning on earth? One day I start praying differently I asked God to show me the truth I said let me be a warrior for you send me. My whole world turned upside down I have a spiritual awakening like nothing I’ve ever thought to be true. One day I walked in to church on Sunday morning And felt very uneasy. The next Sunday I felt anxiety. The third Sunday I had a full blown panic attack!I have not been back since. I’ve had a number of supernatural experiences since then. As I have become comfortable in my understanding and inner standing they have faded I believe because I don’t need them anymore. I am content to live my life what’s my family and discussing matters of love and how to get there. That seems to be good enough for me. I’m not seeking a purpose anymore. My purpose is to be here and to understand, in I Am moments. Thanks for listening.
@@tawanacalamari5712 thanks for reading my experience. I don’t see how it can be called anything but my experience. I didn’t talk about anything I follow, I briefly explained my experience. I appreciate your comment. You are a program, your name says so.
When you have had what I call metaphysical experiences, well intentioned people will be understandably skeptical. And I think that's good . What matters is that you have uncovered your true nature. I'm not sure it's necessary to try to explain. I relate to what you're saying here . It's strange not to feel like you have a mission to be on fire about, but rather a life to live with curiosity and gratitude. Anyway, all the best.
Very good podcast, I feel like an alien now that I've drifted away from mainstream Christianity. I don't believe in Hell anymore, I believe in God's unconditional love. I don't believe in the 'us vs them' doctrine. I can definitely relate to what you're saying. I've been treated like a heretic, and stuff, but I couldn't care any less. My issue is that most people think I'm a Christian when I'm not. They think I'm evangelical cum catholic, when I'm not. I refuse to go to church. I like catholic churches, but only for the peace I feel when I see Jesus. I feel like I am in true love. It's very personal and intimate. I hang out with friends from different walks of life. Not only Christians as I was once told. In fact I don't have Christian friends. I'm probably wrong but I no longer feel drawn to religious people - especially Christians. I only follow one pastor Bob Beeman whose podcasts are appealing to me. Otherwise no service, no mass, I live in sin - according to Christians. Do I boast? I don't at all. I'm just trying to live in love. Guess what? I'm happier than I've ever been. However I'm struggling to find people who believe in Jesus as I do. I therefore keep my faith for myself. I know we'll all end up in Heaven with Jesus. All of us Christians, Muslims Jews, atheists, Buddhists. It's my belief after what I experienced.
Hey Daz! I understand exactly how you feel. Although when you know you are god and god is you and everyone and everything, you can look right through someone’s beliefs and know who we truly are.❤️
Excellent so far. I cannot attend a church because I cannot un-know what I know from being in leadership. I've tried. I love his metaphor about his not allowing the "cement to dry" on his beliefs. Good stuff!
That man is beautifully sincere and intelligent . That is a message in itself . He is a true disciple through whom the spirit speaks non-dogmatically ... " ... again , it doesn't matter to me ... " --- isn't that beautiful , a man with no hang-ups . Thanks , Mel !
What a lovely man. In place after place he made good choices. He is so right to sit loose to doctrines, to refuse to lead the house church, to remember that he once believed what he doesn't believe now. He is a force for good.
Omg I have been so troubled for so long. Years. I was raised by a southern Baptist minister and so very much trapped in my thinking. I read something from the dead sea scrolls that caused me to stop and look for truth. It said something like...."God is in you and all around you". So then I thought if it is true and God is in me then He must know me so much more personally and love me personally in a way I never understood being Baptist. This is life changing. This is after life changing. Hearing this testimony is exactly what I needed. Bless this man for sharing this!
and the Lord's prayer is different if you translate from Aramaic rather than English. Literally, "Our Father" recognizes the masculine and femmine with the Aramaic word... which is why I am fascinated with Mary Magdalene and Meggan Watterson's book.
I love that you two are talking about meeting with others to fellowship and learn things and grow in love, etc. This is what Jesus wants and we all need to learn more about how to connect with others informally. The default for many I would guess is be invisible in a churchy building that teaches thing you don’t agree with, or else going it alone. We can and should seek to grow and help others with these amazing truths I feel God is releasing as a gift to humanity. This channel and others like it are better than nothing, of course, but I believe we all need real gatherings and learning to help and grow with others, any more discussions like this would be very helpful for all of us, I believe.
In relation to that I remember a passage from a book where the writer was analyzing a "Christian phase" in his life. "Jesus said, whenever two or three people will be gathered in my name, I’ll be among them. He didn’t say one hundred, he didn’t say one thousand people, he said two or three, and there is a reason to that". This one really sticked with me, as I always had more of a spiritual feeling when I was with really close friends I could share my heart to, than in any church gathering I went (reluctantly) to.
Great interview. I loved his line about deconstructing the need to be right and just be comfortable with the mystery of not knowing. I can really appreciate that through my many decades as a former fundamentalist that was about as dogmatic a know it all as they come. When I first started deconstructing my faith, although this was way before the term deconstruction was coined, I flip flopped and was as dogmatic in making Christians see the error of their ways as I once had been in proclaiming my Christian beliefs. I might as well have been banging my head against the wall because they just clung more tightly to their doctrinal security blanket. Today I honor them for their beliefs and don’t argue. I once believed as they do so I have no right to throw stones at them. I have found that they are far more receptive to having an honest conversation if I don’t make them feel threatened. I have found that the beauty of life lies in the mystery which ceases to be when the mind is possessed by dogma.
Thank you Mel, always amazing content! Totally agree the gospels are about ACTION following and modeling Jesus by healing, feeding the poor and giving love. Not a chat in a building about how dark the world is and debates on the END times or once saved always saved, it goes on and on dribble about everything, but what Jesus taught!
I was in a Christian fellowship church and the church was helping out a couple who had fallen on hard times. They paid their bills and rent and they would bring them food. They told them what they had bought and even said we have also bought you some treats, some chocolate biscuits and you could tell they were embraced. I said why can't you just give them money to buy their own food and stop embarrassing them? at least we are doing something he said what are you doing? Trying to give them some dignity unlike you that are bragging about their good deeds instead of not letting the right hand know what the left is doing. After that they turned cold because they liked to brag about the donation they had given to the beggar among their friends.
It’s insane to me that people think God/spirit must be praised, but treat each other (the children of God) terribly. Imho, being kind to each other IS the ultimate way to praise the spirit of love that created us. Great channel! Thanks! ☮️💟☯️
Very good! The Lord showed me about home church and the Kingdom of God within us! And that either meeting at home or in a building is okay but we are the church "the called out". Rev 18:4 " Come out" is coming out of the confusion and system of denominations and non-denominational groups or teachings. I've found one guy I like listening to William Branham's testimony and teaching really has opened the Real teaching of Christ!
👍🏾 When he said the risen Christ wasn't doing what the living Jesus did, like randomly appear and come through the walls... that actually just helped me a great deal to understand something very important I didn't know I needed. Kind of blew me away because I still doubted myself, but that was just lifted, so thanks for sharing. ❤🤝🏾
I was in new age for more then 20 years. I always known something is off in new age, but just didn't know what. I also known something is very off with catholic religion that I was rised in and that is the reason i went in new age. So, I asked God to show me THE TRUTH, no matter what it is i just wanted to know it. And God reviled to me that JESUS CHRIST is the Son of God, messia, and THE ONLY WAY to the Father. Let me tell you I was not happy with that, to be honest. Why? Because what Jesus asks of you is very hard in this flesh. But I couldn't deny the truth, there was no going back. It was like God haf opened my eyes so I can see beyond the vail. And I relised I was deep in occult, and opened my self to demons, and how deep was the darkness of this world. But God's Spirit came over me and i felt the gentle rain of mercy, love and forgivness. I did not feal judgment but conviction. As I started to read the bible with my new eyes I started to see things in those words, the real meaning behind them. It was quite clear that repentenece doesn't mean you are sorry and you cry, and you go back to old you and sin that you enjoy like it doesn't matter to God. It means death to previous self, because the old you died with Christ and the new you is now spiritualy born from God's spirit. This means you have to experience metanoia, to renew your mind, turn away from the things that are wrong, and turn to God's way. Jesus didn't come to start a new religion, he came to save us not just from something (hell) but for something (Kindom of God). I came to knowledge that in fact unbelief is pretty big sin, that church people don't talk about that much. Maybe because it is what most of them have. They belive that God exist but they do not realy belive Him, or what He can do. If you do not belive in Him and his power you are playing church. That is the sad truth. Jesus died for the church, his bride. Church is the human body of belivers in Christ. Not a building. Jesus doesn't care about playing church, he is looking for deciples/ his bride. He doesn't think well of the church/bride who is not shure she wants him, or cheats on him with other idols. It is clear as day. The one who belives in Him does what He commands. He is clear on that also. So if Jesus quoted the bible all the time, that means that bible is the word of God, so don't ignore the bible. You just have to belive in finished work of Jesus on the cross, ask the Spirit of God to live inside you and do what Jesus did, man will fail you, so have relationship with Jesus and do what he wants you to do, because it is always the best. Without the Holy Spirit you have no guidence just a dead religion. To belong to Christ is not religion, it is relationship with God. Walk the walk and talk the talk. God bless.
I left the church when I was just in my teens coz people I see nosy people, arrogant and proud ones and of course they are just God praising people from the outside, and I feel sick in that environment,, just 3years back I attended a praise and worship in the Mystical church of Mother Mary, and that was the complete opposite of what regular churches are, the people there were praising God, Jesus with all their heart no one has time to look what the other was doing, everyone was just deeply in love at heart, praising the Lord for healing, the priest there knew exactly how to teach us to connect with God during prayer from our whole heart, how to open our hearts, since then I knew what the connection with God really meant, but I still don't go to the regular Church every Sunday because not all priest/pastors are good preachers, they just do their duty they don't connect us with God during the service.
I left christianity over 30 years ago. It was dead to me. Explored all sorts of spiritual things over the years. But lately I keep thinking about Jesus and feel something new wants to emerge. Oh no! Lol! Anyone else having this happen?? No matter how much I try to push it away, it keeps coming back to me.
That is not what The Lord says though. He states more than once that "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding." (Proverbs 9:10) So, you can see that man's wisdom is foolishness and futile in understanding the things of the Spirit of God.
@@mikeq5807 That statement you made are not correct. "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." In other words my life is guided by God's Word, and truth, eternal life, and a life of God led by the Holy Spirit. You see, God's Word, the Bible, is not just "a book." It's a blue print for life. Jesus confirmed that. "It is the Spirit that gives life. The words I speak to you are Spirit and they are life."Now, that's confirmation to the heart!
@@christophergibson7155 You didn't answer my question. What does all that Biblical gibberish mean to you? I know before I ask the question that you can give no thoughtful answer, as you have already demonstrated. It's common for religious people to quote from their books, but seldom do you ever see a religious person talk about their insight, instead of their religious propaganda. It doesn't matter what your Bible says if you yourself have no root, no understanding.
@@mikeq5807 You seemingly have disregarded the previous statements I made. I explained that God's Word to me is the way, the truth, and the life. You must be "born again, as Jesus said or you CAN NOT SEE THE KINGDOM OF GOD." (I am sure that is not too hard for your to grasp, right?) Until you have that experience in your life you will not have any understanding of what the scriptures are saying to you. "But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned." After you experience the "new birth" then you will fully understand. who The Lord Jesus is, and what He means to you. You will have forgiveness of sins and a clean heart. Your fear of death will be gone. You will have the hope of eternal life in the kingdom of heaven. You will have the fullness of love, peace, joy, and all the fruit of the Spirit. You will love your enemies, have no fear, and have purpose and destiny in life. And the list goes on. This is what HAS HAPPENED TO ME, and I hope this helps you.
Yes I agree thank you . Jesus said I am the way the truth and the life . Be this way ,look at me be like me in thought and action , you are being told the truth . You will then have life as you are meant to have it in all its fullness both physical and spiritual . Be blessed . God has no limits
It's amazing how easy it is to get into a disagreement about someone else's opinion. I figured out that we can't know much about God because God is unknowable by anyone. I let God be who God is and my belief in God is without a definition. Just by the fact that I see God as something that can change a person's life just by being curious enough to pray and ask for help. Near death stories have helped me to relax and quit getting uptight about God getting angry with me for being unique. Everything that was created in the physical is different and unique. Being terrorized by preachers and teachers is typical in religion and it can be mentally assaulting. Meditation and contemplation can open communication from the divine and life becomes an adventure.
Great interview. i have come to very similar conclusions. for me, my paradigm shift happened through reading "Pagan Christianity" By Frank Viola and George Barna and then "Reimagining Church" by Frank Viola. Highly recommend those for anyone wanting to break out of the shackles of institutional christianity
I like this guy it sounds like he found the truth, similar to what happened to me, I tried to talk to some people in my church and they don't want to hear it, they can't refute what I say, but they still just can't seem to bring themselves to believe it. My last day there, I confronted the Sunday school teacher on the issue of hell and tried to show him in the Bible that it really didn't exist, and they didn't like it and asked me to leave the church, so I did
Jeshua's teachings were very rooted in multiple faiths. He was a Jewish mystic for sure. Yet his teachings also carried a Buddhist and taoist aspect. The early followers of Jesus called his teachings "the way", which taoism is also referred to. He was definitely a spiritual master and teacher who sought to show us how we are all connected "sons and daughters" of the most high creator. In La Kesh
The awakening has begun. The Gnostic Gospels make what he just said much more clear. Some are hard to read, how ever. Gospel of Thomas, and Book of the Holly 12 are must reads.
The Truth will set you Free, this is a awesome video thank you for putting it out there!! This is exactly why the powers that be/ Governments are working overtime to keep humanity in a constant state of Fear, because people around the world are waking up to the Truth, and they don’t want that, seek and you shall find, knock and it will be opened unto you, Be still and know that I am God, I Am, That, I Am. ❤️
The almighty one kept pulling me back around to this video and I said "Ah You know I don't get with the Jesus stuff (even though I feel a Jesus energy when I reflect on source) and it said I'm telling ya watch this video". Couldn't have been a bigger confirmation and motivator for what I am about to do here locally in setting up a spiritual group of like minds to share and connect instead of profess. ❤️❤️❤️Thank you for all that you are and what you continue do
Jesus Blesses Little Children 13 Then they brought little children to Him, that He might touch them; but the disciples rebuked those who brought them. 14 But when Jesus saw it, He was greatly displeased and said to them, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God. 15 Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.” 16 And He took them up in His arms, laid His hands on them, and blessed them.
It's like some Christians study the Bible just to see how many ways they can justify NOT doing what Jesus actually taught. I wish I could find people to meet with like him around here. But in rural South Carolina that's a pretty tall order. (I did get the 28th like again though. Cool!) Wonderful interview!
MATTHEW 26: 27-29 ~ 27 Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. 28 For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. 29 But I say to you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father’s kingdom.”
Thanks Mel for another great show! I really liked what Keith said about having grace for people with different views about God than our own, because probably we were that person a short time ago. Keith practices this: Keith debated an annihilationist (Chris Date) on Capturing Chrisitanity and Keith stated his position very calmly even though Chris, though intelligent and knowledgable, kept interrupting and almost bullying Keith. I was like.. even if the other guy is right, Keith's demeanor alone speaks volumes (and I also think made a better case for universalism than annihilationism). Thanks 2 u both!
@@rebeccaringler1265 that is SO true!!! I was raised in a strict Irish Catholic home, Mass every Sunday and holy days, etc. and I'm so thankful I was brought up knowing God and Jesus. But as I became an adult I realized I did NOT agree with every Catholic teaching and beliefs. When my son was old enough to take to church every Sunday (plus CCD, Sacraments), I did so but as he hit preteen age, I began to share my beliefs and the ideas that I didn't agree on with the church. I told him when he was a little older he was certainly free to follow his heart and think about what things he felt to be true and if he wanted to look into other religions, he should do so. I made sure he understood that my biggest belief, was his own personal one-on-one relationship with God was THE most important thing that mattered and to treat others with kindness, love, and generosity. We moved from the Boston area when he was 6yrs old, to the Phoenix area which has a HUGE Mormon following. Unfortunately, many of the families did not allow him to play with their kids BECAUSE he wasn't Mormon. I'm definitely not saying that's the truth for ALL Mormons but it hurt me, to see HIM hurt and rejected for no reason other than religion. I believe ANY religion that brings a person to know God is wonderful, but I also believe many of us feel like there's "something" missing or something more that that religion doesn't offer. It's truly sad when any one religion rejects and more importantly, judges anyone that doesn't believe everything they do, as it only makes people more likely to turn away from ALL of it, even from God. God and Jesus are about love and acceptance, not religion. Religion is man made and can easily be misinterpreted. His teachings can be twisted for personal reasons and can cause more harm than good. Its important we all pay attention to our attitudes towards others that may not believe the same as us and to treat others as God treats us- with love, acceptance, and judgement free. Thanks for your wonderful words and insight 🙏🙂
@@jenniferandrews8449 i grew up in a very legalistic Christian home and our kids were not raised by us this way. We don’t agree with all their choices, but they show love and kindness to others and we love this. It muddies the waters to expect others to believe as we do. It’s conditional. We have free will.
@@rebeccaringler1265 well said! As moms, it's our jobs to love our children no matter what! They're very lucky and blessed that you love them whether they believe what you do or not. Unfortunately too many people put their religion or religious beliefs before loving their families.
I love these shows! Have you ever considered having a warmer backdrop for yourself? Something cozier? Just wondering. Thanks again for the great shows!
Am glad I listened, I agree with most things about church, but ultimately we get to organized church including hierarchy, as any group of people grow in numbers(to inhibit disorder), but a church must be under total rule of the teachings of the risen Christ through the apostles and the Holy Spirit. I am also totally sold in Jesus being DIVINE, no other name has healed sicknesses, has freed spiritual bondage and has had power over demonic dreams and feelings, I myself have experienced this power by the grace of God. NO OTHER NAME AT ALL. The exclusivity of God is that HE never shares a tittle, both tittles, God and Christ are highly exclusive, shared by one all powerful BEING.
Interesting. When l was a Christian l just ended up feeling guilty all the time. It was torture and l began to hate God and Christianity. Because of my past l wanted relief from my guilt and shame but the church l fell into stressed how much God wanted to see only Jesus in me and that my self wasn't worthy even of acknowledgement. It made my mental health a lot worse. Now l feel very hurt and confused. Turning to Christianity was a huge mistake.
What we forget in 2022 is that early believers spent 99% of their time "ministering" to their family and immediate community. "Churches" filled with mainly strangers or mere acquaintances were non-existent. Today this false model is THE model for "churches".
Of coarse we keeping changing our understanding as we grow, because we are trying to understand the infinite through a finite world and body. We are living in a different dimension then God and Jesus lives. Even time and space as we understand it does not exist there. Until something happen to me in 2017, I was on the fence about Jesus being totally divine, but now I know he is, because of what happen to me. Even before then I had an experience in 1988 and knew God was Love. God's Love is a Love so pure, alive and intelligent that we cannot experience it here in this realm, but we try and understand it in this dense dimension. Much in this world is very deceiving, and deceit would not be deceit if it were so easy to detect. Even our own minds deceive us, in fact it can be the biggest deceiver of all. God is this Love that no one can describe to you in any human language because there is nothing in this realm to compare it to. Just know this. This Love that is God cannot know evil of any kind because it is too pure , but because it is so pure, you have free will, as did the angels he created. It is that free will that gets us into trouble with our own pride and selfishness. This is a fallen world, not the real world of Love God created, it is a counterfeit world. Yet God is all around you and within you because your very breath is the life given to you by God. You are always one breath away from eternity. Everything in this world dies, that is why it is told that the last thing to be defeated is death. Did Jesus actually resurrect ? When I was shown who Jesus was , I knew that he did. He is actually way more then what the Bible tells you. We just get a peek into what Jesus actually was. That is why all the apostles gave their lives over to spreading the word of Jesus and most died in a horrible way because of what they knew. Even Paul who had his experience on his way to Damascus understood Jesus after that and devoted his life to spreading the word of Jesus. There is much more going on about Jesus and the world of God then meets the human eyes. Keep looking and keep you hearts and mind open. Trying to understand God is a life long journey and even when we die to this realm we will be learning. God Speed
Sometimes I try imagining this being but it’s impossible! The informal we have is confusing and broken/incomplete. I don’t understand why the Old Testament God seems very angry compared the the loving God that Jesus teaches about.
Jesus is devine and when you see him during an nde you know he was devine and is who we all think he is i think he might change what he said about Jesus
God is real Jesus is real and he is coming back very soon and he paid the price for all of us no matter what you have done Jesus loves you and is just waiting to have a chat with you. God bless you all in Jesus name I pray 🙏 amen 🙏
Keep reading the Word. There are bishops in the church. Also two to three speak in a meeting. God gives gifts fot people to share. Teaching and preaching etc. His home gatherings seemed to have no structure. Do everything decently and in order.
Yes! The Kingdom of God is within you. (Luke 17,21). But "you" is plural here, not singular. Jesus is alluring to the gathering of people who repented. The Kingdom is within any such gathering. Very, very much like the Tree of Life is in the middle of the Garden of Eden. Jesus is the Tree of Life. To repent is to not take from the tree of knowing of good and bad, to not selfishly go after what is good in our own eyes, but to turn to the Tree of Life and see it for what it truly is. I love our Jesus!
it is in singular as well..if you don„t grow the Kingdom of Heaven inside of you, you cannot buid it in the world..and smth. elseȘ Jesus, dear Him..was following the Law of Moses...he was a Rabbi. Everything he is teaching you find in the Only Testament..You cannot understand the messianship, if you do not know what a Savior is in the mosaic Law. You cannot understand his words, in their mistical/cuantic deep meaning if you do not respect what he, himself practiced to became what he became..Just ponder on the words on Deuteronomy 13..Yeshua didn't go against Deuteronomy 13. He practically quoted it. Deuteronomy 13:1 "If a prophet or dreamer of dreams arises among you and proclaims a sign or wonder to you, 2and if the sign or wonder he has spoken to you comes about, but he says, “Let us follow other gods (which you have not known) and let us worship them,” 3you must not listen to the words of that prophet or dreamer. For the LORD your God is testing you to find out whether you love Him with all your heart and with all your soul. 4You are to follow the LORD your God and fear Him. Keep His commandments and listen to His voice; serve Him and hold fast to Him." Matthew 22:37 Jesus declared, “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’e 38This is the first and greatest commandment" Many christians do put Jesus in the place of the Most High in error. Others call him God himself. Jesus didn't seek glory for himself. And many Christians do not know that they will be condemned for not keeping the law and for not doing works even though they perform miracles in his name. Matthew 7:21. "Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’ 23Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you workers of lawlessness!’ Most Christians also follow the changed Sabbath from the council of Laodicea 363-364 without knowing it violates the 4th commandment. They are following the sun worshippers day to honor the sun. They say that they keep the day Christ rose from the dead but The Most High said not to add or subtract to what He said to do. Deuteronomy 12:32 "See that you do everything I command you; do not add to it or subtract from it."
Keith says, ‘I became uncomfortable with the church as it is.’ I experienced the same and felt a disconnection between Jesus of the Bible and what the church presents. The gospel is clearly misunderstood as a prayer and belief that gives us a ticket to heaven because of faith in sacrificial blood sacrifice. What Jesus said about eternal life in the gospels is not the evangelical church message.
JOHN 1:4,5 ~ 4 John came baptizing in the wilderness and preaching a baptism of repentance for the remission of sins. 5 Then all the land of Judea, and those from Jerusalem, went out to him and were all baptized by him in the Jordan River, confessing their sins.
Absolutely. The book 📕 of Revelation of Jesus Christ is an invitation for Jesus into your heart, right now, right here. Let his Holy Spirit open the 7 seals, then hear and feel the purification within from the 7 trumpets, and finally feel the old man Adam die trough the purification of the 7 bowls. Enter into fellowship with the Lord and become a member of the body of Christ, as sons of God, right here in the New Jerusalem. He will make all things New!!!
"You are the Kingdom of Heaven, but you have let the belief in darkness enter your mind and so you need a new light. ²The Holy Spirit is the radiance that you must let banish the idea of darkness. ³His is the glory before which dissociation falls away, and the Kingdom of Heaven breaks through into its own. ⁴Before the separation you did not need guidance. ⁵You knew as you will know again, but as you do not know now." ~ACIM T-5.II.4:1-5
It is as Daniels "image" of God. The perception has been altered through many years. The established church has tried to polish this new image. God wants it crushed.
Studying the ‘gospel’ in detail is also flawed as these books were edited and written and rewritten to suit the dogmas of the day!!! Keep an open mind about the Bible - it’s not all inspired by the Holy Spirit obviously
For this reason I often prefer the rejected works, such as the Gospel of Thomas, or gnostic texts as they will not have been tampered with by the church!
I hope you don't mind if I put in a comment here but I tend towards a belief in universal salvation, however I'm not 100% sure of that. I have doubts about people spending eternity in hell but I can't for 100% sure say that no one will. Therefore I still think it is very important that we present the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I'm not sure what the word is if I heard of something that it's not universalism but something else it is a belief that everybody will eventually be saved. However they still believe that people are saying by Jesus I mean by them accepting Jesus as our savior. As Dr day I believe it was said, if people don't accept Jesus now than during the thousand year reign of Christ it will accept Jesus. So to me we should still present the gospel of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. I don't know for sure what happens everybody after death and you hear so many different stories. Like I know someone who declared more dad more than once and they describe going to happen and so forth. But there are other people that had near death experiences and said they experienced hell. So how may be real but how could be real without necessarily being for all of eternity. Some people see how it's more like a prison that one is released from after a period of time. That seems very possible to me. Peter to Christian Herman. God bless your channel. oh and please read my other comments under this website and remember me in your prayers. Peter AKA Wally
I hope you don't mind if I add a little bit more but as well as the channels I mentioned I'm subscribed to such channels ask Kevin KJV, KJV prophecy 1611, faithful word Baptist Church and other channels in which pastor Anderson appears. One reason I'm doing is that I said I'm trying to subscribe to all the different Christian channels that I can and while I don't agree with what pastor Anderson says about gay people and some things on the other hand is often I think right on some of his Bible teachings. But as I was saying I would like to see greater unity among all Christians. God bless all christians. And God bless all righteous and holy people whatever their religion. Peter
In the real world there is no such thing as “deconstruction “ it’s call “demolition “. Demolition is the complete take down of an unwanted structure. If you are “deconstructing “ your faith, you’re stepping into a dangerous place. Jesus is the author and finisher of your faith. He has ordained the church, the leadership and the ministry. If you go off into your leaderless “house churches” how do you insure you stay faithful to the truth and not fall into apostasy? Remember that “ in the last days many will depart from the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.” 1st Timothy 4.
Hmmm, never heard of deconstructing before. I agree there are major problems in American Christianity. I realized there were issues with how people are treated. I came to a point where I understood doctrinal issues cropped up in bible interpretation. An example is 1 Peter 3:20-21 which states “In it only a few people, eight in all, were saved through water, and this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you-not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a good conscience toward God. It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ” Yet many declare baptism does nothing but get you wet. Or how about Christ’s words in John chapter 6. Unless you eat my flesh and drink my blood, you have no life in you. The Pharisees rejected his saying on eating his flesh and blood. Jesus did not correct them, he repeated it. The church (see Ignatius of Antioch, Justin martyr, irenaeus- alive before 200AD) in the beginning understood this to be partaking in communion. They believed Christ is present in the communion. Paul even warned not to take Christ’s body and blood unworthily. Modern Christianity doesn’t seem to even care what the early church taught and they rather justify their positions than accept the original teachings. No one in the Southern Baptist church or evangelical churches I grew up in ever mentioned these writings existed. It was from the EWTN Catholic channel that mentioned the “church fathers”, I ended up in the Orthodox Church due to doctrinal changes in Rome over the centuries . Orthodoxy has a focus on union with Christ with faith acting with love. Don’t know if my post will help someone find their way after disillusionment in churches, but it’s my story.
Im mostly hearing about the logistics of starting a meeting - am 15 mins in. I think the idea of repentance also involves a change in behaviour to be honest - its not just an invitation to 'change how you think' - as for the reference to the Kingdom of God being within - I dont get it ? If the Holy Spirit indwells Christians surely that is what it refers to - Im not sure I get what is meant by that?
We'll see more and more home churches, as the time passes. Now, repentance is changing of our mind, from doing evil, and turning to God! Repentance also means, that we must be truly sorry, for our sins and wrong doings; there's no other way around it. The Lord will forgives us, when we seek Him with a contrite heart, asking Him to forgive us. I am not a religious person, therefore I do not follow any organized religions, but I love God, and I read His Word/Bible, and allowing the Holy Spirit to teach me, and He does! God is not the God of religion, He is the God of a personal relationship. People, PLEASE, read the Word of God/Bible for yourself, and ask the Holy Spirit to teach you, and give you the revelations and guidance, about things you read, in the Word of God. Do not be satisfied with what others tell you, and their interpretations of the Bible. And YES, there is heaven and hell, these places are very real. Many went to both of these places, and returned to testify about it. Jesus Himself talked more about hell in the Bible, than He talked about heaven, so don't be deceived, beloved! Another things is, Jesus is not a historical figure, that once lived and now is dead! It's so far from the truth! Jesus was not the Son of God, (past tense), He still is the Son of God! He is the Son God, as there is the Father God, and the Holy Spirit God; three, and yet one! Jesus died on the cross for our sins. He laid His own life for us, so we could one day live with Him, and the Father in heaven. John 3:16 16" For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." Jesus was risen by the Father God, on the third day, and now He is alive and well! Jesus' real physical body was risen, and after He was risen, He got the new glorified body, that's why people even His own decibels, along with Mary Magdalene, didn't recognize Him. Being in His glorified body, the physical obstacles didn't apply to Him. Therefore He was able to walk through the walls of the house, and just appear in front of people, (also to His followers on the road to Emmaus, then later on He'd disappeared right in front of them, after He broke the bread at the table. The Bible is true, everything written in it is truthful, for it was written through the Holy Spirit filled people. Therefore, the Author of the Bible is God Himself! This link with lead you to a man, who died, visited heaven and earth, and was sent back, to testify about it. ua-cam.com/video/xfLNcBeXKdY/v-deo.html God bless you all, and never stop seeking the Lord!
In the Book of Acts... the Saints tried to live the of consecration. This is were they have ALL things in common. So.. they all sold their properties and laid the funds at the feet of the Apostles. It is not an easy law to live. Of course Sapphira & her hubby.. Ananias had a problem doing that and with held some back. 32 And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common. 33 And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all. 34 Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold, 35 And laid them down at the apostles’ feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need. 36 And Joses, who by the apostles was surnamed Barnabas, (which is, being interpreted, The son of consolation,) a Levite, and of the country of Cyprus, 37 Having land, sold it, and brought the money, and laid it at the apostles’ feet. 1 But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession, 2 And kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain part, and laid it at the apostles’ feet. 3 But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land? 4 Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God. 5 And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things. 6 And the young men arose, wound him up, and carried him out, and buried him. 7 And it was about the space of three hours after, when his wife, not knowing what was done, came in. 8 And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much? And she said, Yea, for so much. 9 Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out. 10 Then fell she down straightway at his feet, and yielded up the ghost: and the young men came in, and found her dead, and, carrying her forth, buried her by her husband. 11 And great fear came upon all the church, and upon as many as heard these things. Now... I ask. How was it possible that both husband and wife died for lying and hiding things from the church??
"It's not about being right" and "no one can describe God" taken together are 100% contradictory. God can reveal and describe Himself (as He does in the Bible) in the person of Jesus and elsewhere in the bible. We don't have to know EVERYTHING, and that's not even the point of the Bible. It gives us the information we need for salvation. Deconstruction is mostly a psychological process; finding a peace of mind while saying to others that their belief cant't be correct because "you have to embrace mystery" and they are arrogant and maybe sometimes abusive. Topics such as hell, God's wrath and justice are emotionally difficult to deal with but that doesn't mean they ain't true. In my opinion even the presupposition that God has to be such and such and reveal Himself in such and such a way is not up to us to say. Even Bart Ehrmann said that. God is God
Welcome, both of you, to the theology of Unity, which also began as "studygroup centers" for people who really read the gospels and learned that "the Kingdom of Heaven is Within" and "no one is left out" of God's love - ever.

He said that if you do not understand that parable then you will not understand any of his parables. He said also.that at the time of the.wnd the angels will gather all if those out of his kingdom that offend and that there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. What's not to get?
Maybe someone can clarify a few things for me. How is it possible to quote Jesus Christ verbatim? Are we to believe that what is written in the Bible is exactly a word for word series of accurate quotes as though his disciples were transcribing his teachings on the fly when Jesus was preaching? How is that even possible considering the gospels were written way after his death. Sorry I don't buy it. However I am open to an explanation that would change my mind.
This man says he had a "shift in his thinking", that is a very scary statement! God's word is infallible and does not change, that is our anchor. This man is putting his thinking above the word of God. This opens you up to all kinds of heresy, and the fact that he did not know the gospel is not someone saying the sinners prayer makes me question his salvation. Be careful before listening to this and weigh it against the word of God that never changes! This is the gospel period! 1 Corinthians 15: Now, brothers and sisters, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. 2 By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain. 3 For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance[a]: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, 5 and that he appeared to Cephas,[b] and then to the Twelve.
Of course He was raised physically. That's the whole point. He overcame death! And His body was transformed. The arguments for some sort of non-physical resurrection are very poor. Id suggest you read NT Wright's The Resurrection of the Son of God.
The point is that none of us can go back in time to check. The whole area of scholarship is so controversial that how on earth could we have any definitive certainty on the past event, especially something like a supernatural resurrection. It seems rediculous that the state of my soul in the afterlife depends on what I believe about what happened in a past we can't be sure of!
After I wrote these words in my bible,
"My Lord, I ask that you save me from my ignorance. Open my heart, my mind, my eyes. I seek the truth. Please bless me with wisdom", everything changed for me. I am no longer guilt ridden and my new found spiritual journey is without a doubt my most precious journey. Proud to be deconstructing!
Yes...you can't go wrong by asking for the Truth!
We're asked to ask for wisdom... For sure you can't go wrong asking for wisdom. Glad you're finding it especially with the fact that we're not supposed to be guilt ridden...the point of the cross, we're no longer guilty.
I call it reprogramming, but yes, it is part of our journey here!
Yes! His comment about "repent" meaning "change your direction" and "the kingdom of God is within you" (not "out there" somewhere but "here") is a game changer. I'm glad Keith is speaking the truth! Very refreshing!
Agreed. The church teaches repent as a way to keep us in guilt and shame! Change your thinking sounds more like truth given by a loving father!
Gospel of Thomas, thank me later and bless you
@@wmbedsole1 it’s a staple in our home. Beautiful.
@@slcoly1 that’s awesome to hear!!
Amen 👍😀🇦🇺
it's hard to love someone when they will torture you forever for the slightest sin. I'm in the process of coming out of relgion.
I see this pattern in every System. You have to conform and obey to 'be worthy of love'.
Thanks for listening.
sound a bit new agey there.
@@tawanacalamari5712 thanks for reading my experience.
I don’t see how it can be called anything but my experience.
I didn’t talk about anything I follow, I briefly explained my experience.
I appreciate your comment.
You are a program, your name says so.
That's nice you had an experience. I've never felt anythingfrom prayer. Or from being a Christian. It's been a terrifying experience
@@tannerroberts1114 that sounds terrible. I’m sorry you feel that way.
My way is not your way. We find ourselves through the journey.
Although when you know you are god and god is you and everyone and everything, you can look right through someone’s beliefs and know who we truly are.❤️
Im guessing I have had this same experience, only im a Pagan. Life isnt about saving people from "hell".
Yes to everything you said! Keith is amazing! I'm so thankful for his influence in the world.

WELL SAID JEFFREY!! 👏👏😂😂
Nothing new to me, but I'm glad there are many waking up 🤗
Thank you for watching, friend!
I love that when Iwatch your videos i can just watch it worriless, because there is no judging I can just watch and learn
I've been saying this for some time, God is within!
This rings so true to me, thank you for this amazing content

Im Pagan and yes Jesus is great but he is not how Christians potray him
@@wkdgrneyes I couldn't agree more Carrie. I'm more Gospel of Thomas these days than anything 😀 I think Christianity has largely gone off the rails. X
Great attitude, humility, to be empty of knowing, the beginning of wisdom.
@@christophergibson7155 What does that mean to you? Quoting means nothing by itself. Understanding must come from you, not from a book.
@@mikeq5807 That statement you made are not correct. "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path."
In other words my life is guided by God's Word, and truth, eternal life, and a life of God led by the Holy Spirit.
I explained that God's Word
to me is the way, the truth, and the life.
My last day there, I confronted the Sunday school teacher on the issue of hell and tried to show him in the Bible that it really didn't exist, and they didn't like it and asked me to leave the church, so I did
How great is he? But also how great is it that he is shining though your channel? Awesome!
Thank you so much for the kind words, T Scorched!
Christianity doesn't seem to understand Christ's teachings however, Buddhism puts his teachings into action

13 Then they brought little children to Him, that He might touch them; but the disciples rebuked those who brought them.

Thankyou for watching, David! I also wish I could find people like Keith in my area! We need more of him. LOL

Keith Giles! ❤
It's a gift to have compassion for other people, even if they have different beliefs from us.

I really enjoyed this. Thank you!
I’ve went to several churches and they had a lot of technology, rich looking men and it takes my doubts and raises them up.
Absolutely excellent 👏

It's amazing what we believe is true (fact) at such a young age, which is really just opinion.

God Speed
JESUS loves you and died for you 💔😢🙏❤️.

He's just part of the great falling away.
Powerful. The gospel is not "say a prayer so you go to heaven". REPENT=change the way you think!

It would have been nice to start with the definition of deconstruction. I never heard the term in this context before.
Very interesting.
It is as Daniels "image" of God. The perception has been altered through many years. The established church has tried to polish this new image. God wants it crushed.
Tustin. Yay!! I worked on helicopters there. 😊
Maybe you're not continually deconstructing...continually constructing, learning, growing, changing, transforming, maturing....
"deconstruction never ends." I call it the eternal dance of metanoia.
What is apostasy is denouncing Christ or backsliding? A lot of Christians don't know about this.
What is that Atari poster?!
John 3:16
16" For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." Jesus was risen by the Father God, on the third day, and now He is alive and well! God bless you all, and never stop seeking the Lord!
34 Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold,
35 And laid them down at the apostles’ feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need.
36 And Joses, who by the apostles was surnamed Barnabas, (which is, being interpreted, The son of consolation,) a Levite, and of the country of Cyprus,
37 Having land, sold it, and brought the money, and laid it at the apostles’ feet.
1 But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession,
2 And kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain part, and laid it at the apostles’ feet.
God is God
I know what Jesus was teaching and why. In fact I can tell you what He wrote on the ground.
Welcome, both of you, to the theology of Unity, which also began as "studygroup centers" for people who really read the gospels and learned that "the Kingdom of Heaven is Within" and "no one is left out" of God's love - ever.
Unless you believe Jesus rose again, you can't call yourself a Christian . Jesus is God, He's not just a historical figure.

The parable of the seed and the sower. And his.disciples.xame to him.and asked the meaning of the parable and he said the.sreds that are planted are the.seeds of the devil and the harvest is the end of the world. He said that if you do not understand that parable then you will not understand any of his parables. Exactly. As simple as it gets.
There are many testimonies of hell. There is a hell. There is unfathomable grace and mercy towards sinners but hell is real.
nope!

HELL NO

Not a mention of the gospel. How sad.
To hear the good news you need to hear the bad news first! Keith is relating his experience of rejecting the bad news of the church doctrines.
Dont need the gospel
You just described gnosis.
