The entire problem i have with these "tests" is that a lot of ppl who falsely teach in God's name sincerely believe they were called by God to be a minister, even when their theology is easily disprovable with the Bible. Sincerely preaching false doctrines will not magically make false beliefs true or make the person preaching them a genuine minister of God.

Everyone is called to preach the gospel. Some believe the church elders must be men, but that doesn't mean women can't be called to serve. The laity pastor at our church is a woman and she's amazing!

As a pastor, the local church paying him for the work of the ministry is entirely in line with Biblical precedent. The Greek word that "preached" is translated from (kerusso) should actually be translated as "proclaimed". Proclamation isn't something that only preachers/pastors/teachers can do. All believers are called to witness/to share the gospel/to be carriers of the "euangelion", as the Holy Spirit guides. (Acts 1:8).
