Geezum... this version of Po-Koro looks like a place I saw in a freaky dream. It's was just that, a big empty box, save a few sickly people wrapped in robes, keeping to themselves. There was a heavy fog over everything, and it looked desolate. There was a tunnel to the far side of it. I walked in. When it got almost too dark to see, I turned to look outside. I woke up. Don't know what would've happened next.
So... is there going to be a plot and combat...? I also think there need to be Matoran and side quests that can be encountered in the stretches between major locations, otherwise it's a whole lot of nothing, rendering exploration pointless. The whole worth of open world exploration is finding something all of the time, and that something always being a lot more than a nice aesthetic that does little more than LOOK interesting. It has to do something significant and interactive with the world around it.
Question 1: Will there be more than Mata Nui? Like, Metru Nui, Voya Nui, Mahri Nui, Karda Nui, the various other regions (Artahka, Karzahni), etc? Question 2: Will there be every canon/mentioned Kanohi in the Bionicle universe? Question 3: Will there be custom character creation (specifically Toa)? If so, will there be a way to unlock new body parts for better customization, like in the other LEGO games?
michael compton All of that sounds far, far into the future. I'd imagine he'd want to get the base game mechanics and the entire island of Mata Nui done before doing any of the other islands, much else the other realms like Karzahni and Artakha.
Fair enough, but I have missed Bionicle for SO LONG. And I'm not happy about the reboot they did, either. I just really want the ability to wear the Faxon and take on the powers of the Rahi.
I'm sad to say no to most of your questions, the only Kanohi that will be in the game is the ones mentioned in 2001-2002 No character customization, I would look to Legend of the Toa Skyrim mod for that. As far as other locations there may be a secret peek at Metru-Nui at the end of the game but I'm still considering it
Ah, I see. Actually, something that might be fun to add is investigative dialogue. As an example, if someone goes missing, you could ask around to see where this Matoran/Turaga is, and some of them could intentionally lie to you just so the missing Matoran/Turaga isn't found.
Yeah, this one is my fault. The game has plenty of sounds and music (I even reference the Le-Matoran playing music in Le-Koro, they are playing a song) however my recording software didn't pick it up. My apologies!
If this were to become a reality it would be a huge success because there is so much potential on mask mechanics, and would make the combat highly addictive.

Seeing this, the old 2001 story return, makes me a 13 year old boy once more. I wish I was skilled in anything that could be of use to this game, but I'm not, all I have is an incredible creative mind and a natural talent for story writing. But I know EVERYTHING about Bionicle, so I can't wait for this to be done!
Could you also spotlight that total concersion mod for Skyrim? It's called: Legend of the Toa. The creator has made a channel dedicated to the project. He has gotten quite far in development, but his last upload was like a year ago :'( Still looks really awesome!!
Oh, man! The graphics look like that of the first bionicle game I ever played! Though when I played it, everything was void of color and graphics, so I was playing a game in black and white and 20 fps... I need to find that game again and replay it.

I do traditional drawings as my main method of art, but I would be willing to try and do digital models. Not sure how good I'll be at it, but it's worth a shot. I have been a fan of the Bionicle series since I was really really young. I've gotten as many bionicle sets as I could possibly get, nd with the closing of the bionicle universe, there's not much left for us Bio fans. This game and your offering to get help is what us fans need to keep the memory of the Bionicle living on.
Strange that Tahu doesn't have Mata hands like Pohatu and Lewa, but I guess they might look weird when wielding his sword, so I can understand it if that's the reason. Gali's mask glitch might be caused by her masks being slightly translucent, since that can cause some rendering issues in certain game engines.
This is honestly pretty well done, the animations look fairly solid and not at all janky. The only animation I have a problem with is the jumping, but I'm sure that will be fixed.
i'm planning a concept for a Zakaz Online Game, about the history of the Skakdi. not saying that i will ever make such a game for real, but i'm not saying i wouldn't either. just thinking about what a Bionicle game about the Skakdi should look like and how it would be fun. like something different for a change, a spotlight for underrated Bionicle species. i'm just watching this to get some inspirations for my stuff. and so far, it looks pretty good.

they need help with texturing and unwrapping the uv maps. The "Box" has them stretch and that's why it looks like that. Not to mention a simple Bump mapping can help with the alpha settings at low.

I’ve been looking at this as possibly better than the original promised canceled game, that once I saw had no finished boss or the classic rahi sets, limits on mask powers, and only shooting mechanics combat was sad to see this was what it would only had offered... But this fan game with how you have full freedom of mask powers, classic rahi sets as mobs, and multi-combat ( melee, elemental, and mask of power! ) , this I find is even better than the original canceled game and the hit and miss of the other released bionicle games... I really hope this game reaches its full finished standard... complete with the copycat toa bosses in the novel, and the shadow matoran version of makuta boss,!!! I hope even the ultimate gold and silver mask with how they are earned also gets included, which the toa get after collecting all mask of there own colore... I think he obviously knows enough about the series to be doing everything... I bet he could also be enough to be making the second (the bohrak saga) , third (the toa nova/bohrak kal saga) , and forth ( rahkshi/7th toa ) chapter of the game,... with satisfying results!!! Somebody pleas send my support to him!!!

Well, I noticed that Eljay muted the sound for the video, in the game there is a lot more sounds (and music) but it does still need way more.
