As we approach the midpoint of Dry January, today's episode of A Tasting at The Murder Table will feature a non-alcoholic beer from Paulaner of Munich, Germany. This beer is called a Weizen-Radler, and based upon the following description, it sure sounds refreshing...
"This mix is in a class of its own - combining the great taste of Paulaner Hefe-Weizen with natural effervescent lemonade in a non-alcoholic alternative for refreshingly fruity yet malty taste. The citrus notes of lime, orange, and lemon match the wheat beer perfectly and provide a uniquely balanced taste experience."
Truth be told, we're always a little leery of non-alcoholic beers, but given that this comes from a brewery that has been around since 1634, we went in to this tasting with cautious optimism.
