What kind of intake are you running?
Thank you, it's the Ram Air intake that comes with the Cervini's Shaker. They don't make a kit for the 2011+ charger though :(
Car looks sweet! Checked the dip stick on my 16 392 shaker and it is 1/4 inch off the cover

I've been looking at the packages Billet has and haven't pulled the trigger.
The custom pieces are BOSS!!!
There are a few things to do before I dress up under the hood, just got my NOWEEDS so that has to go in, after that maybe a street cam and long tube headers with a custom tune. Then I can do the Billet thing.
And Hell Yeah I like gettin' new STUFF. Thanks for another great vid your editing skills and camera skills are great love that you have hi res camera
The only thing I would recommend is putting Loctite or any thread locker on all set screws
Actually a great idea I just need to see if any of the chemicals in the thread locker will mess with the Anodize. Next year for the engine mods, I'm saving up for some fun stuff I would love to get at least another 100HP and some whine ;)
Love it! I will Billet Tech my Charger Bay once all my performance mods are finished with the exception of the catch can, that will be my next purchase. Love your videos!

What’s your process for cleaning your engine bay and components? It always looks so clean.
Thank you. I go in with a microfiber and use the water runoff from the wash to wipe down all the surfaces. Since I washed the car a few times a month it isn’t difficult to keep clean takes less than 10 minutes per wash.
Once a month I apply WD40 to all my billet parts for protection. And the only rough part is polishing the water pump every few weeks because it keeps oxidizing (accumulating white dust)

I just subscribed to your channel, you have a lot of great info. I will be picking up my 2018 Challenger T/A 392 6 speed manual in white knuckle tomorrow! Two of the mods I will be doing to the car are 1) Barton shifter and 2) NoWeed exhaust. I enjoy your channel and thanks for the info!
Congrats on the the T/A and that color choices is amazing. You will not be disappointed in the Barton and if you like ridiculously loud yet enjoy the stock exhaust the noWeeds is perfect.
Do we even need a catch can for a vehicle that does not have a direct injection?
I'm making a video on the catch can install and discussing the need for a catch can on port injection engines. Should be out in a week or 2. Personally with all the oil I see in the can I feel it's a good idea even though the valves are being cleaned by the fuel, I really don't want all that blow-by being burned.

I drove a lot and did quite a few runs at the strip and had no issues. Also aluminum dissipates heat quickly so it’s not holding it in and baking the coil packs.

Billet is nice stuff but like said the waiting time is looooong and not cheap. Like they say in their disclaimer though, Don`t expect all of the parts to be the same color because of the process they use. On my stuff the color difference is quite noticeable, from almost blue to various shades of purple and this is holding me back from ordering any more parts because I know first hand that there will be even more color variations.

I'm almost at 20,000 in just over 2 years. My daily commute is only about 8 miles though :)
I wish mine looked that good at 20k. I just hit 22k a couple days ago. I drive mine EVERYWHERE and it was hit in the parking lot TWICE in the first 2 weeks I owned it.
I’ve become paranoid when I park. Probably due to all the time and effort i put in when wrapping.

Do you wipe the billet with a dry towel first? Or are you using something on that? (Before the clean towel with WD)
After washing the car I use the water that accumulates on the engine bay and a clean microfiber to wipe down all my parts.
It’s important to make sure the towel is clean so you don’t scratch the parts.
@@WorkPlayDrive I usually block out all the hood vents and headlight inlets. How would you clean the dry billet day if you’re just gonna do an engine bay clean? Without washing the car? Should I just use WD FIRST on a clean rag then wipe off with dry?
It depends on the finish. If you have a clearcoated super shiny finish any dust could potentially scratch it.
In this situation, I would blow it off With compressed air or a blower. Then use a very deep pile microfiber wet with WD-40 and wipe only once in one direction to pick up the dirt.
I would then fold to a clean area re-wet with WD-40 and wipe again. Repeating the process until all the dust was wiped off.
Lastly I would go back with a good clean dry microfiber towel and buff off all the excess WD-40.
My finish held up very well over the years and still looks like new. and sometimes I wasn’t so careful in wiping it down. While the above seems excessive I’m not saying the Billet Technology finish is fragile I’m just trying to give you an option they can get you many many many more years out of an already rocksolid product.

Hello where did you get that air intake cover? My buddy has a 18 Scat Pack Challenger with shaker hood and likes it.
This is from Cervinis it’s a full shaker kit and air box so it sadly will not work with the OEM shaker.

I've been wanted to do this but I've kinda run into a roadblock. I would also like to do orange pieces as a tribute to 'Hemi Orange' but my problem is that my Challenger is Green Go and I'm afraid it would wind up looking like a Halloween tribute car. What do you think?
That might be a tough one, have you seen @njmopar on instagram, he has some really sweet Green Anodize on his Green Go.

I purchased a few sample parts to test the quality. Before I placed my BIG order I met up with Heidi and team at Springfest in California, when I contacted them shortly after with my order I guess they liked my online content and my car and sponsored the order. They asked for nothing in return too, I was pretty floored... then again I'm assuming since I show the car a few times a week and now with the hood up... they do get something in return...

Would blue loctite work on the set screws?
Not sure if the chemical composition of the locktight would in time damage the finish of the anodize.

This is the Billet cover that comes with the Cervinis shaker kit, painted orange.

I’m going to work with a company to mold a carbon fiber one with a bit of orange in the weave.
Work Play Drive now that I look at it closer, those look like orange parts that you were putting on. They looked red at first. It would only make sense that you would do the Shaker Orange also. Either way it's going to look sweet. Nice job!

I get the sarcasm ;) I wasn't worried about harming my engine if I don't have one. I'm just preventing carbon buildup on parts that I planned on replacing anyway when I dropped the Whipple on top ;)
Nooo! Adding any chemical on your parts will attract dirt!
You MUST add mineral oil or WD-40 to protect the parts. Once coated you wipe off the excess. I daily drive this car and do not have excessive dust on my billet parts.
theyre so expensive though.. like no need to be that expensive.
It's solid aluminum milled to perfection then anodized perfectly. Though costly these pieces are reasonably priced and in some cases almost 40% cheaper than some of these pieces made by competitors. That's how I got my first billet pieces, these were the best priced lol. Seriously though although costly you get what you pay for and the fit and finish on these are spot on.
