BF V is nicer in the graphics as we should expect from a 16-17 year time frame. As far as a game, BF V is leaps backwards in game play and as far as being consumer and community centered. BF 1942= Dedicated private server rentals, Larger play areas, ability to run a LAN game or non dedicated internet server on your home PC, Mod tools to make game changes (Software Development Kit). How I wish we could roll back time to get these features back.
I miss Bf 1942. Such a great game. I loved all the quirks and great memories of battles I had. All the free mods/ map packs and great community support made it such a great game too. You'll never find anything like that ever again, especially from an EA company.

I love 1942 for the nostalgia (and because its weapons are distinguishable by sounds, where BFV sounds almost the same). But BFV is nice too.

Basically every reload and firing animation in 1942 is so inaccurate. No regard for open bolt or closed bolt. Pistol reloads were laughable. Good video!

I wish BFV would have guns jam in the middle of a fight. I can just imagine getting shot at by a sniper when suddenly his bullets won't feed into the gun, resulting him to unload and reload. All I can do is dream.
