Just wanted to point out that the DDRX cabinets were contracted out to Raw Thrills, not Betson. Betson only every did the SuperNova cabinets, and everything after X is just a J-cab import. The Betson SuperNova cabs are actually built to the same quailty as the K/J-cabs (except for the smaller screen), the cab at our local arcade is still chugging fine after 16 years.
I wanted to make something like this for a very long time, great job as always, also greetings from Poland we have some dancing stages here as well. I know many pepole dont agree but my favorite mix will always be DSEM 2 because it was the first ddr game i ever played and i played it a lot, until they didnt sell the cab but it went to good hands of a private collector
There is still a couple of these at some of carvan parks :D See this brought back some good old memory I think the ones they have are more modern versions
Very cool, good start, looking forward to see how it goes. I saw a broken down dancing stage cabinet (couldn't tell you which one) at the Trampoline park in the O2 arena the other day and it made me think of the MGS Cornel in your Konami arcade repair video 😅
This sounds like an interesting project and I hope it all goes well! I have seen inside the cab as I have helped with pad maintenance previously. I can confirm that the shell of the cab is Euromix 2, while the internals have been adapted to accommodate the all the hardware for a full legit Supernova 1/2 setup.

Fair and correct point! I thought Betson still handled distribution of X though yes Raw Thrills did make them!

Witam z Wielkiej Brytanii! A lot of people dont like DSEM or DSEM2, and id be tempted to agree…

Yeah, neither of us had actually noticed the electrocoin sticker on the back stating it was originally a DSEM2, lol!
It seems like a long time ago, when we discussed building this...
Looking forward to seeing how it turns out...
1 year and 6 months ago if memory serves right. Things… got in the way, annoyingly.
Looking forward to seeing the finished item!
I have a deadline for this so I am too lol
