Went all in with xmen united, cool game nothing out of this world. But I will say it's super easy to set up and quick. It's definitely what my friends want to play when they come over(they aren't big on boardgames). I was not interested at all in this one but after seeing some of the characters I'll be doing the $65 pledge. Not a big ask for a decent expansion. What changed my mind? The equipment cards and "true" solo.
I went out and grabbed the Marvel United X-Men Base + 1 expansion to test out the game and see if I was interested in more. Definitely an enjoyable game, but not something I want to put $100+ into. Base + Expansion is the perfect amount for me personally 🤙
@@GameBrigade So they had the money for a Marvel license but not the money to actually launch the product? This seems more like a "pre-orders" thing and less like a "let's help fund this project that wouldn't otherwise happen without your support" thing. Also, despite promoting it you didn't actually link it in your description, but that's okay because this is a featured project that you can see right on the Kickstarter homepage anyway, lol.
I played the game with my friends, and everyone was not really enjoying it because the heroes felt the same as each other. We tried again with different hero's and villains but while the villains changed things up, people wanted to play a unique character. The game is on a list of games we don't want to play again. We play Sentinels of the multiverse all the time, and each of the Heroes in that are unique to be different and that's what we want but with the IP of Marvel.
Not worth it. Not even close. Found it waaay too simple and boring. Pretty much every decision is an obvious one, no interesting or tough choices. It's a kid's game...which is fine, I just have no use for one, and certainly can't justify wasting hundreds of dollars for "exclusive" crap that just adds more of the same.
🐺 ive been all in, and i will stay all in 🐺

I forgot to mention the true solo mode being added. 🤦
Great video and well done for highlighting the $1 option! 👍 would be interested in an All-In video too 👍
Noted!

I thought about doing the same at some point.
Yes, please do an All-In follow-up!
I backed X-Men but haven't even really looked at this one as I don't know/care about any of the characters
Cosmic ghost rider and Maestro and Spiderman 2099 are honestly the only 3 I'm looking at.
Nice video. Felt shorter, sweeter, with the same good info, and not drawn out.
🐺
Yes do follow up pls
Wait... Marvel? Why does a game with the Marvel brand name need backing?
Not sure I understand your comment.
It's marvel, why do they need money for any product launch?
@@theamateur897 It's Cmon, who licensed the Marvel IP. This isn't a Disney product.

@@jayjaydeth if you’re new to cmon projects just say so. This isn’t a novel concept in anyway.
Marvel has enough money, thanks
marvel already got their licensing money, backing this doesnt change that /shrug.
