- Thought it was a skip turned out to be a bad Balancer of Harmonics!
I caught myself looking at it before but I must have missed it.
here is the link for injectors

Thanks for watching
Great video do more f150. You got something special keep it up
Thanks for the comment👍
One time I was working on this 74 Camaro had been in the front end wreck so we thought the vibration was from event crankshaft or dampener, but it turned out when the bottom of the header tubes were flattened out a little bit the vibration exe was coming from the exhaust pipes not flowing evenly and part of whom were half restricted. The new setters of headers fix the problem.
Thanks brother, going to be getting a 351w from a junkyard for my moms old mustang, and thought the injectors might have been in the heads. glad they're not! Gonna reuse them for a while if we can
Sweet! I have a rough idle been tryna figure it out. Was considering injectors. Might just doubke check the balancer now. Seems to onky be rougher during idle. When i rev it smooths out.
Ole Doc at it again
RHA
Noice!!!!! Good job boysss
Only thing I would say is for the torques bolt it is a t40
I have a 95 302 as well. Truck idles rough and also at low throttle. If I gas it it runs really well. I’ve changed more parts than I can remember. Might have to bring it to someone to diagnose. I haven’t checked compression yet, and haven’t touched the injectors at all. Not sure where to start.
Sounds like a vacuum leak somewhere check all your vacuum lines they usually get brittle and break easily. If all that checks out I would look towards an intake manifold leak 👍 maybe that helps
@@ChristmanGarage I just did a poor man’s smoke test with a harbor freight transfer pump and a cigar. Injected near the left side where the blend door is and only saw smoke coming out of the air filter box.
Nice job brotha!! Couple questions, what kind of grease are you applying and what type of adhesive tape is that covering the engine!?
Just regular bearing grease and cloth duct tape👍
Hi. .. I like your style .. shit I may have to do that to my 94 dinosaur
Hey man my 96 5.0 f150 harmomic balancer has 4 points and its a 4 tone ring can i just put a regular one or what are the 4 pins for its like every spikenis for every 2 piston idk im guessing if i put a regular one will it work
I’m not positive but it should work I don’t see where that would make any difference
Hello, the injectors for the 5.0 302 are 19lb/hr or 21lb/hr? good video!
Stock 5.0L F150 = 19lbs/hr
why would the balancer have symptoms of bad gasoline?
It was just running very rough almost like a skip because the engine was shaking so bad👍
Hey, I just changed my spark plugs cap rotor wires coil in 90 bronco 5.0. Firing order is same as it was. Now it’s bucking and pinging. It’s pretty smooth in park just engine shake is really bad in drive. Was that how yours was? Do you know any good ways to determine it’s the harmonic balancer before removing it? I just changed the injectors Thanks
I would double check firing order even the best miss it from time to time. Then I would check to make sure all the wires were good by checking the ends and boots, after that make sure the injectors are plugged in good I know those pigtails break easily, if all that is good I would pull each plug wire individually and see if any one didn’t change the engine and then you can usually look at the dampener and wiggle it to see if it has gone bad Maybe this helps
Thanks for your reply. I’m going to retrace all my steps and I may be back for more insight if you don’t mind haha.
I put new Ford racing wires and they seem to all be in good shape. I removed each individually as you said and 3 do seem to improve engine performance when unplugged(still shaking but perhaps a little less). Does this mean I should look at these 3 cylinders spark plugs for faults(they are new and I did inspect them upon install). I think my timing is wrong.
I decided to start from scratch and re-install all new plugs same brand and gap as the set before I did recent tune up.(Motorcraft platinum rather than just the motorcrafts I just had in there). I am going to turn engine to TDC and try to re-position distributor and see if this helps. With no markers, is there a certain position this should be? Besides rotor aimed toward cylinder 1 on cap? Right now, it sits with cylinder one facing bolt on head. Thanks again.
@@canthandlethetruth7359 timing could be an issue and yes I would turn the engine to TDC make sure it’s on the compression stroke and then check position of number one cylinder then recheck firing order and set timing per manufactures specs which are usually on the tag under hood you should have to unhook the (spout) connector near the module on the fender before setting the timing with a light but with all thus being said you could still have a possible leaky intake or a bad valve maybe this helps
👍🤘
Good job
Just did my injectors and now it won’t start any ideas?
Make sure you have fuel pressure, the inertia switch behind passenger kick panel may have tripped
