At least one of the former Raven devs is currently working on a retro FPS called Prodeus. Look it up!

Raven is one of the best developer studio. The game that they made are quite good since 90s

Still the most underrated game of all time I remember finding this game randomly in a pawn shop buying it and playing the crap outta it and I still wonder why they didn't remaster the game or make a sequel

Ivan Lyutiy I don’t think so. If there were a sequel, then I think that it at least would pull up a trailer for it on the search bar. The only thing I saw after typing it in was just the one game.

I genuinely believe this game has a true ending. This moment goes hand in hand with one of the endings. This game is such a masterpiece, truly underrated

@@leonbelmont4028 Really? I don't think so considering devs haven't made any real great games for either console platform, except remasters and games that were on the previous gen. I mean look at their top 5 best for either console and you see GTA V, Red Dead Redemption 2 and Metal gear solid V...2 of those are previous gen games! What graphics are you looking at that blow us away on those consoles?
uh.. 4th gen was the super nintendo and sega genesis...

Yeah, it pretty much rips everything from Bioshock. Then again, Bioshock ripped things from earlier Fallout games. Basically, that's the gaming industry in a nutshell. Everybody ripping other's work...

It's a Russian version of bio shock
Bishock came out in 2007, looks like this came out in 2010.
@@CD-mb4bv bioshock is supposed to be a spiritual succesor to system shock...

This game is highly underrated.
On the periodic table, number 99 is einsteinium, which was discovered in Hiroshima after the atomic bomb was dropped. The more you know I guess
It could be a “naturally” occuring cousin in the Singularity universe.
No it was not - it was discovered in a debris after the test of first hydrogen bomb in 1952.
Also very coincidental. Einsteinium is more than just a chemical name. The element was named after Albert Einstein, from who we have learned about the theory of relativity, the fundamental forces of the universe, and many more theories of the universe
One of the best FPS games ever made, and one of the most unique concepts.
Its definitely good 🤓☝️ but some of the concepts are taken from game like Bioshock and system shock 2 therefore not making it unique but definitely a perfectly executed fun game

Just finished it for the first time...what an outstanding game! And the alternate endings are fun twists.
Me too I love this game it's like a mix between Half life, Bioshock and Metro.
Another amazing game with great design and unique mechanics. And it went way under the radar.
You can thank Activision for that, as usual they stuck their grubby hands into something that had promise
@@avidion6274 i literally didnt hear about it and found it for 10 bucks way after release.
So this guy is allergic to health packs, covers, sprinting, grenades, collectibles and only uses assault rifles no matter what the game
sounds like me, except in this particular game i would spam the ability to age soldiers to dust at every given moment.
(similarly, most of wolfenstien involved me using SMGs and ARS until mire, where i would immediately spec for the sheaar ability, and then spend most of the game running tinto the middle of crowds and spamming the shockwave from activating mire to the point where i actually missed getting the flammenwerfer)
This was such an amazing game! The story was great, the gameplay was unique and the multiplayer was absolutely amazing! I wish they would at least make it available to download or remastered it.. The game can hold up to the crap they put out now, if not surpass modern games in quality.
This game is available to buy on Steam and it works perfect on Windows 10, no issues at all.
One of my favorite shooters from the last generation consoles and a hidden gem to boot.

This game was/is awesome. It's one of the 10 games I still play annually when I fire up the old PS3.
Can't believe this game didn't got popular. It was one of the most memorable games for my childhood.
The guns in this remind me of the guns in Jericho on the 360, especially the guided sniper rifle.

1:25:45 but isn’t that explosion the one we cause to stop Demichev and correct history? So we are the cause of the Singularity and the alternate timeline.
I'm playing this game, I'm at the part at 37:47 and for some reason I only have a pistol. It's exceedingly difficult to kill those extremely annoying bullet sponge enemies with just the pistol. I don't know if I missed something or the game is bugged. Either way, I probably have to start over, because there are no multiple manual save slots so I can't get back past the last checkpoint. This kind of ruined the game for me.
There was a vault where you can select the weapons again before that

Yeah this is a really good, but a very underrated game. Great story, graphics and plenty of great action physics. I got this for a few quid a couple of yrs after it was released, as a seen a good review of it. It reminded me of Bioshock in the graphics style and liked the look of it too.
I keep geeting stuck in certain parts of it, but thats probably just me being crap

I finished this game a long time ago when playing xbox 360, i accidentaly got a achievement for just do nothin staring at the main villain in the end of the game. Thanks man, good memories using the time gadget to restore or age things

It was a great experience play this game.
i bought this game for like, 86 cents at EB games. 86 whole cents. and this is still one of my fav games of all time. i do wonder why the hell a game this good was 86 cents at a damm EB games.

The ticks are some of the most annoying enemies I’ve ever fought in any video game. Everything else was not too bad, I played my first playthrough on Hard. Even on Hard, this game was amazing and I wonder why it never got the attention it deserved 😔

So, lately, I have been watching a streamer plays Titanfall 2, and the "effect and cause" mission really remind me to this game
This game is so good in unique mechanisms. So sad that it gets forgotten really fast. I only know about this game, maybe 3 years, after the release of Titanfall 2
just finished it again on steam...still a fantastic game.
The gap between console and PC has closed a lot. But this game is definitely superior on PC vs console. Damn it looks so much better. 60fps is a major factor in that too.

This hidden gem is one of my early game experience, I hope there will be a sequel.
We want a sequel with one of the bad endings. Either Renkov vs. Demichev for world Dominion or Renkov as a secret leader trying to control the world with TMD.
Underrated game
remember playing it a dozen of times, such a good idea and a well thought out execution, I have no idea where the hell from I was getting those amazing games back then without internet access, I guess magazines :o
I still have this game in remembrance of Raven it will live forever no matter what
Now that Microsoft bought Activision, I now have renewed hope that we might get a sequel to this game. Honestly, the only thing really holding this game back is the level design. If they make a sequel that improves the level design, it would likely be one of my favorite games.
