Instrumental Case in Polish | Narzędnik

In this lesson, you will learn how and when to use the instrumental case in Polish and the endings of nouns and adjectives used in this case. You will find many example sentences as well as a task for your practice.
A small correction: '9:32, the sentence 'On jest bratem' means 'He is a brother' and not "I am a brother'

1 Good evening Polish with Blondes.You said we use instrumental case regarding who we are. Am I right, however, in thinking we cannot use it to say "I am tired/Jestem zeneczonem? This is because I have heard the case is used after the verb byc/to be and I do not think this is correct .I think instrumental is used after byc but not always.eg.. byc takes the nominative as well as the instrumental. Czy to jest poprawne?
2 Are the endings for neuter adjectives similar to those for masculine adjectives? I don't think you mentioned those.

Hello, your question number 1 - if you use 'być' + adjective only then you use the nominative - 'jestem zmęczony', but if you add a noun, you need to use the instrumental then - 'jestem zmęczonym człowiekiem. another example: Ona jest wysoka - Ona jest wysoką kobietą. I hope that helps
2. neuter in the instrumental case takes the same endings as masculine, for example - kanapka z jajkiem

@@polishwithblondes Thanks for your quick reply. I was just confirming my understanding that 1 not every sentence with byc is the instrumental case and may be the nominative case 2 both masculine neuter nouns and adjectives take the same endings in the instrumental case.
