Got this tiny pedal, is great for the size and price, the shim is very subtle, it gives a nice atmospheric effect, I leave always the shim button on. Works great with my Line6 M9 shim effect both together sound amazing, it adds something was missing!
Will give it a chance! this is ridiculously small, I A/B with a Hall of Fame at Sam Ash, and for my needs works perfect, great sounding. I have no place for anything else on my board, already got a a micro tuner and sold my Polytune pedal, this verb is a great deal, hope it works well!!!
Jacob Johnstone You're probably right. I do really like the Bigsky and I'll probably get one when I can afford it. I'll end up having more than one verb though, so the Stereo Wet will probably be my first buy.
Did anyone have trouble with the mix knob? The taper seems to go from completely off to lots of reverb, getting it to the point where it's very subtle is hard, and the shimmer is so subtle it's inaudible with distortion. Possibly mine was defective? I hear your shimmer, mine is undetectable
You get my Top Award for BEST DEMO of a Reverb Effect Unit ... EVER ... thank you!

Also the shim option is great, in my case that I can't afford a Mr. Black Eterna, this is a great option. At some point I will get an Eterna!
a bluesky gets probably the best shimmer , imo
Jacob Johnstone I personally think the Neunaber Stereo Wet Shimmer Firmware has the best shimmer. Although, I don't own one. Some day.
Well Claviceps the bluesky and bigsky have a lit more options as far as the mix of lower/higher octaves.

Crap, another pedal I can't live without!
how could I refuse?

Does it works fine with acoustic guitar?
mmm...
That's right
What exactly does the 'shim' option do?
I don't own one, but the shim (shimmer) button adds "octave up" into the reverb.
Shim usually pitch shifts some of the reverb up an octave before adding it back into the mix. It gives it a simmering, distant orchestra quality.
HUMS too loudly to be of use. Skip it; I am.
Mine's silent in the hum department.
Afina la guitarra...
Where can I find this guitar strap? :)
Canal Brunão it's a Planet Waves strap.
If you could send me one so that I can try it out and have a review for you? ;) please
